OK, so this is not really a 'rant'. It's more a recording of a rather interesting realization I've come across as I took the over-abundance of time to think, while doing my mind-numbing job. A job I've come to be able to do [at least on Saturdays] practically in my sleep. So you can see how an 8 hour shift gave me lots of thinking time.

So, I thought about the people I know with various fetishes. And because I've always been intrigued by the psychological side of the human nature, I started noticing a common factor in some of their sexual fantasies, and real life problems or oddities. Allow me to note here, this is common among them, but this is not always the case. this documentation holds no legal strength, nor has any ACTUAL Psychiatrist's input. This is all my own thoughts, so take them how you will. there are exceptions to every rule I put here. And I am part of the equation in some of these cases, too, so do not feel I am claiming any better than anyone else for calling out these faults.

BDSM : Starting on a more complex fetish group, allow me to separate it into sections.
Submissive/Masochist : The submissive group I've noticed comes with a very odd history. Many cases they come from a background that has offered them too much control over their past...while some may deny it, many of them secretly crave that....loss of control. Addicted to the need to feel like someone else is in charge once in a while...or even on a constant bases. Also common among this group is those come from controlling, or abusive background. Unfortunately, or fortunately [depending on how you look at it], they become addicted to the loss of control from an early age, finding joy in their lack of command in things.
Dominate/Sadist : this group I find most often to hold insecurities. For that reason, I have to further bracket this.
Master/Owner : These groups, often seen as the most acceptable type of dom, only keeps one...sometimes two pets/slaves. They often spur from a strong family home, but this usually comes with the 'man of the house' holding all control. For this reason, many form a kind of 'alpha complex'. Where they think they need to be in control. And those without a family...or gay in some cases...Keep pets, or slaves, to feel that control over their home.
The 'collector' : In most BDSM groups, this is the type of owner most looked down upon. These often coming from abusive homes, or bully victims in school. these sort often taking up several...in some cases, dozens....of slaves or pets. Usually preferring the term 'slave'. These 'doms' in the community seek command of a harem, usually, but many settle for a simple groups of servants...rarely less than 3 pets/slaves. They feel insecure in their past, and inability to command things, so they now seek to command anyone they can, to make up for the lack there of in their youth.
The Sadist : These near always victims of abuse in youth, they can come in either of the prior groups. Usually preferring to rule by an iron fist, so to speak. these doms are not always cruel, but often feel a strong need for the use of force, if only to feel that form of command in their hands. Though, while not always the case, I've seen this to be usually true...and I would not be one to say to avoid or approach these sorts. They are unpredictable.


Youth : this section dedicated to pre-teen or 'cub' types, This section is not so varied in responses. Usually, from what I've seen of these sort, they suffer a lack of....well, youth. They feel older than they are, or feel they never had a real childhood. Perhaps maturing much faster than their piers, or just were reluctant to leave it behind as they matured, and thus fall back to them. While the REASONS for the need of that 'inner child to be let out' is beyond my ability to number, one thing is almost ALWAYS the case....they want to feel young again. Be it for sexual desire, or casual conduct, they want to feel like they are children again...to regain that lost innocence. Or relive it the way they wish they could have.


Fat fetishes : While some watching me wonder what this is, others may be cringing for the thought of it. others, still, who may read this will know the interest, or even have the fetish. These are people who find sexual attraction to very....sizely people. now, we aren't talking Ms. 10inch waist who thinks she's fat, we're talking the guys in 50 pants sizes. some even desire bigger. I've found that while I only know a half-dozen 'chubby chasers' at BEST, they share common signs of a similar insecurity. Larger people like that are considered 'less attractive' by modern society. These people often feel they cannot keep a partner they way they are, unless the other was not considered an option by those around them. For this reason, they seek these people as a way to feel secure in their relationship. Knowing that none will try to take their partner from them. Of course, again, there are exceptions to the rule, this is just what I see as the most common trait.


'Furry' : By the 'humans' this can be considered a 'fetish' or a 'disease' based on who you ask. those of us in the fandom often refer to it as a 'lifestyle'. But no matter what you say about this group...and yes, I know I'm posting it on a furry site....WE love animals. Near about every fur you meet...be it dragons, otters, dogs, or cats, most furs are highly attracted to some animal or another. often times sharing a common factor in their 'fursona'. Myself being more known by my draco-fox form, I am personally enthralled by the concept of dragons. And my partner, being a Neko [feline-human hybrid, not quite like most furs], loves cats. And while this seems obvious, it's not just furs like this...The furs have a different level of interest in their animals of choice. Some sexual....ok, most sexual....But some just like the image of them. some for what they stood for to olden people, like Native American's. while this isn't a 'flaw', it is an odd aspect that seems shared among most furs.


Feet : Now, I know about half my watchers who bothered to read this probably just gagged a little...But yes, face it, some people get off on feet. These people are a hard group to pin. But if anything is 'common' about them, it's that they are mostly having issues with...well, I call it the 'doormat syndrom'. Either feeling like they've been walked on so long it's their natural place, or feeling that they have not earned the respect they have...they often desire the feet as a sort of way of being 'under' someone else. In case of doms interested in feet, they sometimes feel that desire, while maintaining control of the situation.


'Size Queens' : You know who you are. No matter if it's a realistic 10 inch nockout, or wanting meats the size of buildings, these people love it BIG. But why? now, that's the thing. it's been the hardest for me to pin down....Some feel unsatisfied with their own material, while others want to be shamed. Some wanting the image of just how big their partner's rod is, others just seem to think it's natural. Whatever the reason, fact is, they want the BIG boys. Though, if I were to connect one specific common denominator, it'd be sex. More specifically, the surplus of it. Some have had so much, it takes something big to 'fill them'. it's the most common trend. Either way, these guys won't be happy till you could hospitalize them with your shaft. thankfully, very few seem dumb enough to actually get themselves severely hurt in this pursuit, but they can still dream.
