Hello there, friends!

I'm making this journal as kind of a vent out and to let you know in case of any possible delay on commission work

Last sunday, one of my two 4 month old kittens, Umbra, passed away due to some complications after a rabies vaccine. He had some respiratory issues and after stress on a blood sample test, he unfortunately passed away.
His little kitten brother, Pryna, was at the vet with us and inside the room when Umbra's heart and breathing stopped, so I guess he understood what happened in the aftermath as well.
Both me and my fiancé are very affected by this sudden passing of our baby boy, but we're trying to be as strong as we can for Pryna. Pryna is doing great though, has been eating, looked around once or twice for his brother but is doing well and has been giving us lots of cuddles and attention.
He is still very young and we plan on adopting a kitten his age sometime in a close future so he has some company to grow up with and to give a shelter kitten a forever home, but we are foccused on recovering and making sure Pryna is as well for the moment.

I had Umbra cremated and will bury his ashes on our favorite park that has beautiful cherry blossoms in the spring, along with his favorite toy.

I will continue working on commissions as I have bills and vet expenses to cover, but I appreciate all understanding on these fragile times.

May our little boy rest in peace and look upon us from kitten heaven, as well as sending his brother a new sibling somewhere in the future 🖤
