As fragmented, imperfect beings, yours is a never ending quest.
To find the strength to continue when all strength has left you.
To find Joy, even as darkness descends.
And amidst Deepest Despair, Light Everlasting.
The World sucks. People suck.
Hatred in it's purest, most violent form. It seems to be the only thing half of my country knows.
It saddens me to know that being a Vile, Evil person seems to have no consequences for people with Money and Influence. That you can go on live television in front of the entire world, and show what kind of toxic cesspool of a creature you are, and still have half a country supporting you un-endingly. That being sexist, a rapist, and a general bigot to every minority you can think of, is not a deal-breaker for a large group of people.
It saddens me even more that people CHOSE this outcome, that they are okay with the current status quo. That their hatred has blinded and manipulated them into being the worst version of themselves. It saddens me that a Cult is allowed to run one of the most powerful countries in the world. It makes me angry that the person who is now going to represent BILLIONS of people, is an openly vile human being.

I know that it feels so hopeless knowing that Hatred has won this battle. So long as there are people out here who still believe in sympathy and empathy, Hatred will never truly win.No matter what tragedies may be lurking in the dark, we can always choose to be kind, and that will always matter.
