Welcome! I'm
LazyWolf
lazy-wolf.carrd.co
I gave myself that name way back in high school, and it's derived from the oh-so creative "adjective-species" format.
I also used to go by "Celestialwolf," a second name I originally chose to reflect both of my greatest desires/aspirations at the time (the first half of the name isn't very relevant anymore, but I'll still respond to it).

Uploading My Commissions
I'm posting to let you know that I plan to start uploading past and future commissions both on here and my Twitter account.
Previously, I was generally against anyone but the original artist uploading a given piece; the way I saw it is that they deserve all the exposure and views and favorites to help continue to promote their work. The main exception was if the original artist never uploaded the image, or if they deleted their own original upload.
However, as time has gone on, I've now seen many prolific commissioners post all their own commissions, and as a result have everything neatly organized on their profile and gain a good presence of their own. Also, this ends up giving even more exposure to artists that people may not have otherwise seen. This is what I now plan on doing myself.
I'll try not to go crazy with uploads, probably spacing them out over time. I hope you enjoy seeing some old classics and perhaps some new pieces you hadn't seen!
As such, here I am; a werewolf pretending to be a furry.
During my young adult life, I tried harder to be interested in women, and even had a couple semi-serious "relationships" (if you can call them that). However, I always called them off after a short time; "it's not you, it's me." Things just never felt right. Fast forward a few more years of my parents always asking if I was finally dating yet, and when would they get grand-babies. I'm a bit of a lone-wolf, but even for me, all that lonely time without a significant other really started to take its toll. I wanted and needed to be with someone.
After my core, lifelong religious belief was no more, I started to question my other long-held beliefs. I really wanted to put things to the test and see where I stood in a variety of areas. Over time, I came to realize...you know what? I really like other guys! The signs had been there for many years, but I'd never recognized them. I figured out that I'm technically bi (probably a 4 on the Kinsey scale), but mostly gay in practice.
Eventually I got to meet woofiearcticwolf in person; he'd been an online acquaintance since 2010. We came to find that we liked each other as more than just friends and soon started dating. We had to keep closeted for a while, but eventually came out despite fallout from some family and others, and got married in 2016! We share so much in common and are so similar, especially in our deep love for werewolves and wishing we could have that gift ourselves. So happy we get to go through this life together!

More Facts about Lazywolf
About me
I'm a huge werewolf fan. When I say "fan," I don't mean just a casual supporter of the shape-shifting humanoid canines. I almost constantly long for lycanthropy, for the ability to become my ideal werewolf. That desire is one of the deepest, most ingrained, and integral parts of who I am as a person. I've been interested in wolves and werewolves and bodily transformation since I was 6. When I commission art of myself as a werewolf, it's not a fursona or a character, it's just...me! How I'd be if I were a werewolf. Are You a Furry?
In my early days of looking up werewolf stuff online, I'd often come across and enjoy content from the fandom (but I don't consider myself a furry per se). That said, if you put werewolves and furries in a Venn diagram, a lot of things are shared between the two camps, so I might as well be. Whether it's anthro wolves, feral wolves, or werewolves, sign me up. I also enjoy other canines in general; I'm definitely a "dog person."How did You Get Invovled in the Furry Community?
Initially, I never thought I'd get a fursuit or attend cons. "Would the suit be realistic enough? It just wouldn't be the same as actually being a werewolf. Besides, they're so expensive!" "I'm not a furry, and I'm an introvert and often socially-awkward!" However, after a while, I finally decided to commission a suit of werewolf-me and it turned out great! Since then I've gone to a few cons and have had a great time!As such, here I am; a werewolf pretending to be a furry.
What's your Religion?
I grew up Mormon (LDS). Some time after getting back from my 2-year mission, I did some serious, deep research into my church. The more I looked, the more problems I found. I came to see that things just didn't add up (by my estimation). After months of going over everything, of thinking and wondering and studying, I removed my name from their membership records. I respect those that believe; it just isn't for me. As it stands, I'm agnostic athiest. I don't believe in any god, but do believe that there could be some kind of god or higher power (however, right now there isn't enough evidence to know either way). What's your Sexuality?
Growing up in Mormon Utah, it was just a given that I was straight and would some day get married to a woman in the temple and have kids. As such, alternatives never even occurred to me. Even though everyone else seemed to be into girls, I just wasn't (outside of friendship). Instead, my passion was werewolves...especially male ones! I constantly looked at (clean) male werewolf art, but only because that's how I wanted to look (or so I always told myself).During my young adult life, I tried harder to be interested in women, and even had a couple semi-serious "relationships" (if you can call them that). However, I always called them off after a short time; "it's not you, it's me." Things just never felt right. What's your Personality?
I'm usually pretty chill and try to let most things roll off my back, though sometimes could do better at controlling my temper. You respect me, I'll respect you. Live and let live. I'm an introvert and can be a lone-wolf, prefering solitude away from noisy crowds. That said, I do enjoy being social with friends, as well as spending time with my wolfmate and pack. I suppose I'm pretty average in most every way (height, intelligence, etc.)Likes:
Werewolves, wolves, exploring the outdoors, trail-riding (motorcycle, mountain bike, hiking, 4X4), camping, firearms, nature, quiet, technology, traveling, chocolate, coffee (I need my energy!), creature comforts (hot showers, comfortable beds)Dislikes:
Hypocrites, the self-righteous and bigoted, the entitled, oblivious people who are slow or in the way, those who are obnoxiously loud, being cold and wet, being tiredFinal Thoughts
I'm still trying to figure out what rules and morals I believe in and wish to live by, and sometimes test boundaries. If I'm ever too open, too sexual, too...whatever, I'm sorry. I'm still figuring myself out. Yes, I'm into adult anthro art; yes, I have a drink every now and again; yes, I prefer being in nothing but my fur more often than not. I don't claim to know what life is about or what it means (if anything). I'm just on this journey trying to live my life in a way that makes me happy.User Profile
