Recent Journal
2023
Hey all!
Obligatory "It's been a while since my last journal" line here.
A lot has happened last year and recently, almost having lived a full year in a new city now and unfortunately having old health issues return to pester me.
But as they say: new year, new chances.

Though Tephra's model and setting had a lot of progress, I've had more plans in mind. But I keep getting stuck on some technical issues. That's why it's been going quite slow and is pretty much put on hiatus. I hope to get back into it and finish it completely. At least I learned alot from it so far.
My 3D printer has been gathering dust for a while now. So I wanted to make a new 3D toy to print; A "functional" Emperor, from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I've already made alot of progress with the big parts, but learning how to make a fictional handgun work requires a bit more know-how than I first considered. Atleast it's funny to see how impractical the design is.

My eternal struggle is balance between drawing and 3D; when I work on one, I tend to keep the other on hold, as you may have noticed. After the recent drawing, I feel like it’s been a while since I last drew stuff. So I’d like to pick that up again in 2023, before I start any new 3D projects.
I still got a certain comic left unfinished, after all-

My new years resolution? Finish my Python course before the end of the year (and get experienced at blindtyping while at it). Other than its usefulness in Blender, I would still like to eventually make a little videogame with a program like Godot if possible.

Have a good 2023 everyone! Make the most of it!
