Why yes, my guitar does have a G string...

So, I'm some dude from Vancouver who's 29 and I'm a hobby musician/audio engineer. I play guitar, bass, keys, can drum a bit. Mostly guitar though. Currently working as a Grip in the bustling Vancouver film industry.

I've got a bunch of tunes on here in varying degrees of rock. They're all old as fuck haha. Most of them usually have something to do with the 80s, a large part of my sound up until a couple years ago. While still influenced by 80s stuff, I tend to blend everything I listen to together and have gone to a more Indie style of playing and writing.

I'm in an indie band, where I play guitar, bass, keys and sing back up vocals. Not too sure what to say we sound like, kinda hard to pinpoint another band to give y'all an idea. It's kind of a spacey, shoegazey, alt rock, jam kinda thing with Radiohead-esque lyrics.

I'm something of a world traveler, having backpacked around a couple of times. My first trip lasted a little over 4 months and consisted of Europe for just about 3 months, Japan for 2 weeks and Australia for just under a month. Last year ('11) I traveled back to Europe for 6 weeks and went back to places I really enjoyed (Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam) and new places I wanted to go to last time but couldn't fit in (Czech Republic, Austria, Poland). I'm already planning out my next trip back to Europe, but that probably won't be for a while, still paying off the last one haha. I'd love to go back to Australia again and do an outback excursion. I pretty much just wanna go everywhere haha.

Though I've been in the fandom online for quite a while, I've only just started last year to attend cons n shit after figuring out that a friend from my old job was a fur; attending Vancoufur '15 '16, RF '15 and BLFC '16.

Other than all that, I'm a pretty laid back guy, something of a goof, enjoy meeting and talking to new people 'n all that good stuff.
