Thank you to everyone who stopped by this weekend! And a huge thanks to all my fellow vendors! The atmosphere in the Canfurence dealer's den was a welcoming one. I never felt out of place despite my relative inexperience, and I was grateful to everyone who reached out to say hi.
It was so great to see everyone's reactions to the art present in the space. And I was so surprised by how many people were excited to purchase or trade wares! <3
All in all, I could not have asked for a better first convention, and I am already eagerly planning my next convention applications.

With that in mind, I wanted to ask some questions and give some updates! My question is: Are there any conventions you would recommend applying to? I already have a few in mind, but I would love to hear your perspective!
Also, what sort of items are you most excited to see at conventions? At Canfurence, I mostly focused on SFW 5X7 portraits, stickers, and homemade Star Fox keychains. I already have some ideas based on my observations and experiences, but any external feedback would be invaluable to me! ^w^

Finally, I wanted to say that I will most likely be adjusting my prices again very soon. I have some more professional work to tend to for the next two weeks and will likely be too busy to take on anything during that time. After that, I want to focus on building up my inventory of items for print.
With that in mind, one of my observations at the convention was how well original artwork fared over fanart. So I was considering honouring my current prices a little longer for individuals who are alright with me using their finished commission pieces for physical print sales. Something to think about!
As I said, it will be some time before I can actively work on any pieces. But if you would like to get a quote in anticipation of when my schedule is more free and hold your place in queue, I'd love to hear from you!
