I love to talk with people about art, character design, colours, shapes, and just all around all things furry art. I especially love kemono, western kemono, chibi, and anime art styles.

I'm a very curious person and I love to try and understand many things in life. We are all different with unique, individual experiences that bring us to be the people that we are today, and so I love to learn about people and their stories.

With that being said, I want to preface by saying I might ask some questions out of curiosity that you wouldn't expect to be asked. Just know these will generally be out of my own curiosity and by no means do I intend on coming off as hostile/aggressive/uninterested

Design info

Sona is based on myself. The colours black/gray/white represent the good, the bad, and the in between of my life. The initial concept was to involve a lot more black as I identify with it a lot more, but I knew the clothes would be black and thus make the design have more than enough black when clothed and so the fur uses a lot less black. The colour white is used on the inner parts of the body to reflect the good we like to see in ourselves. The gray represents the in between, the neutral. The black on the end of the limbs represents darkness, darkness that I feel starts to envelop me and that I have also accepted is apart of me and will never truly go away. The white at the end of the tail presents the last light, the light at the end of the tunnel, the final shred of hope when all seems lost. The colourless colour palette is also used to represent how much I stand out from the crowd.

Reason for conception

Sona was created to represent me, so I can express myself through my character. There are many things I feel and want to be able to express with others but don't feel I know the best means of how or even who to express it to. I imagine art pieces of situations that resemble how I feel and I want to bring that to life so I can share my experience with others
