The backstory behind Ginn

He was once a lord in charge of looking over a large portion of land, basically how a king looks over a kingdom, he lived in the Middle Ages and was betrayed/slaughtered loosing both an arm and a leg. However, before he could pass on a very powerful witch happened by and immediately took a liking to him. Through a long and arduous procedure he fully died and was resurrected as an undead Wendigo whose talents for magic were far greater than that of the witch who had saved him. Now he has lived to the modern era, and has given up on returning to who he once was, but he knows one thing for certain that he will do whatever it takes to protect his small chunk of the world and the people he cherishes. This primarily being his staff who not only help him in everyday life, but who are also in charge of general upkeep of his castle/lands. For this reason he has granted the staff a fraction of his power, to further establish their safety and thus binding them to him. He dreams to one day make it the ideal place he has always wanted.

Fun Facts about my OC

He's primarily in Wendigo form, unless he has to go out in public. He can't stay in normal deer form indefinitely, somewhere around 3-4 hours on and a 1 hour cooldown. When under a full red moon he has a harder time controlling his savage nature, leading him to ravage the surrounding forests. Only in his land does the full red moon appear once a week instead of once a month. The witch who saved him was the first of his staff. He believes the townspeople don't ever suspect him or see through his disguise, but secretly they all know and play along just to make him happy. Even in his savage state, he maintains the willpower necessary to never eat another person, but just barely.
