January Update and Birthday!!

YCH UPDATES
This Holiday season was much more crazy than I ever could have expected, and because I took the time off for MFF I had to work the entire holiday season. My goal is to start finishing up the lines for the 4 pics within the week. Keep a lookout for me streaming everyday late in the evenings. Sorry I work from 2:30-10:30pm PST so it might be hella late when I finally get home and start working.
LIFE AND BUSINESS
Because the holidays were insanely busy with my IRL job it's given me a fresh look and rejuvinated me to schedule my life back together. Things are looking up and I can actually start to plan things for the upcoming year again.
2023 CONVENTIONS
Because of things being more stable I can actually plan out some time for myself. My goal is always to go to Midwest Fur Fest at the end of the year. I've also chosen that I want to hit up Anthrocon in the summer as I can plan around trying to get a room and having the time off in the summer. Outside of that I always try and attend my two main local events, VancouFur and Howloween. Outside of that I don't see myself getting any more time off until some miracle happens to get me mroe time off. Maybe something in Seattle where I can take a quick weekend trip maybe? Im not sure yet.
30th BIRTHDAY
Oh god. I'm almost 30. My birthday is on Sunday and I'm not only planning a cool party with locals on the friday, but I'm planning on streaming all Sunday as well since I'm taking the day off. Planning on doing some art stuff, a little gaming from online stuff and community type games like Jackbox or something. As well as trying out some Twitch streaming. Dunno what my setup is gonna be but I plan on making it cool with the help of some friends. I have a Vtuber model that i slurged on before my bday so be on the lookout for that.

OCTOBER UPDATE/ SKETCHTOBER COMMISSIONS
Posted 3 years agoI want to write this journal to shed light on my life recently and commissions.
For starters this year has been stressful and a lot of work. I’m running my own business that has not only eaten up all of my time but has me also there every single day for the last 4 month. No summertime, no days off etc.
For these reasons I have been extremely tentative when it comes to taking on commissions. Due to other reasons I’ve had to deal with I personally hate taking on a slew of commissions and payments and having to know there is X amount of people who are waiting on products from me. I typically take things on 1 or 2 at a time and even if I took on some sketches, I try not to take payments until more is done and other things are fully completed.
Unfortunately, this meant that with work and things recently I haven’t had a whole lot of energy overall and so I’ve been stagnant on a couple pictures which means a lot is on hold. When I made my Google form for commissions in the summer, I should have clarified that I might not be able to get through all of them due to work reasons. For that I want to deeply apologize and want to make things much clearer for the future of me taking commissions.
For this next month a lot of things are coming up and I’m making more decisions on how I’m doing my art direction. I want to open a slew of Wing-It sketch commissions this month for the theme of Halloween. Something that I can complete in a timely manner and not spend hours upon hours working on like a fully shaded picture. Also, with my work schedule being the way it is most of the streams I do are in the dead of nighttime.
Hopefully everyone understands the situation I’m in and continues to like and share my art around. I’m going to have to work my ass off to get my life back to normal again.

What I Will NOT Draw
Cubs in any mature or sexual situation, Farting, Gore, Scat, Vomit, Watersports. I also reserve the right to decline any creature that I decide does not pass the Harkness Test.
When commissioning me, you agree to the following terms:
You are paying for the service of the creation of the art.
As the commissioner, if you are having characters owned by multiple different parties participate in the picture, you must have all parties contact me as the artist and confirm their participation in the picture.
In the context of sending gift art or providing gift art, there must be veriafiable proof of friendship or consent.
I as the artist reserve the right to use any art that I create in personal promotional material unless other arrangements are made with the commissioner.
I reserve the right to decline any commissions and the right to terminate a commission in progress. If a commission in progress is terminated, the commissioner will receive a refund at a prorated rate based on the work that has been put into the commission.
When commissioned, I will provide a rough sketch of the commissioner's request.
Major changes to the image must be provided in the sketching phase, this includes changing the pose, changing the camera angles, or other major updates to the image based on the artist's interpetation of the changes.
The piece will not be moved past the sketching stage until the piece is paid in full.
Invoices must be paid within a week of it being sent (Unless agreed upon by both parties) or your slot will be moved down in the queue.
My own Personal characters may be used commissions if I can agree to the concept of the picture. They may be included with a discount on my additional character fee.

Where have I been?
Posted 5 years agoTLDR, got a raise at work at the price of other people losing their jobs.
Basically the owner of my company sold to a new owner and terminated everones contracts on July 31st. While devastating to all of the staff, the new owners came in with a positive attitude and seemed to want to hire everyone they could and keep things going as it was.
That's when shit hit the fan. The Franchise owner (Richmond) basically wanted to come in and take full control over our location. They complained about our payroll being too high and how we opened up for more hours and the amount of staff we had, even though to our knowledge our productivity and revenue was still doing well. We do know however that the Richmond location is floundering and that the other franchises are concerned about their buisness.
This last week was a busy one. Sending them all our things from designs, revenue each month how many staff we had and our pay. We were informed that Richmond was gonna be bringing staff in from their location to train us and getting rid of some of the staff members. The biggest thing was that the manager who had dedicated her time and hours building that location when the owner sat back in another country and way hed it grow was certainly was gonna be on her way out.
Well we were informed today with an email from our new owners. I was able to keep my position. And even got a pay raise which is nice. However the manager was correct and they didnt keep her on staff, which is a huge bummer cause I know her personally. This was going on for a couple weeks and has stressed me the fuck out over fear of me keeping my job.
I vented in other places. I'm doing a bunch of art on my alternate account tyne_amstutz so feel free to watch and follow me there.

MAY COMMISSIONS

Where have I been?
Lots of stuff happened from work related things to renovating my basement. I've talked with all the people I've owned pics to and should be done everything my this week.
I'm changing how I take commissions.
Recently inspired by an amazing artist, I'm changing how I set up my queue. I'm gonna sacrifice confirmed commissions and instead implement a system of making a list of potential people who are interested and tackling them one at a time. If they were interested before and want to back out that's ok with me.
The main reason is that I felt overwhelmed when people threw money at me while I had a decent queue, and with delays such as renovating my basement, work related things and art struggles the pressure built up and I was stuck trying to get things done.
With this method the goal is to tackle them one at a time. And while I would lose people who would want commissions immediately only to have it be delayed and want out, I already was planning out numerous sketches for people pre-payment who would later either back out or delay wanting to get the commission. This was what I thought my appeal was. Interested in a picture? Lemme sketch it out for you and see if it is what you're looking for before you pay. However this just lead to so many pictures being put to the side to never be used. Not saying anything about those people, but it is a lot of my time going to things that never got finished. Maybe I'll turn them all into Your Character Here auctions at some point.
When I open up on Thursday I'll post another journal and start making a list of people interested. And will take payments one at a time. Prioritizing only the one that has been fully paid.
Other than that I'll be streaming every Thursday and Friday. Maybe in Sunday as well, or sometime late in the evening on the weekdays.

All done and credited to here if I can hit a some milestones on all 3 accounts which includes 700 on Twitter, 700 on FA for Yaudizz and 500 for my tyne_amstutz account. I'll upgrade them all to full paints.
Only requirement is to follow me here on FA, post your reference sheet and comment on what's your favourite picture I have created. I'm honestly curious to hear what people like about my art. A change in art
Posted 5 years agoTLDR, I'm going to be working on less muscle and homoerotic art and more feminine, fat and hyper work.
When I started with furry art I always wanted to be that guy who could get commissioned by anyone. My favourite artists reflect that as they can easily take on numerous body types shapes and genders in their work and it's stunning. Instead of taking a lane and going with it they can produce anything which is really cool.
When I first started out I mostly tried to get into the muscle fandom as i was invited into some really cool groups of people. Talking and chatting with so many muscle artists and consumers as well. I improved rapidly over the entire year and became friends with a ton of people. Commissions were moderate, but I was still starting out too.
Tyne really changed all that. When I started posting more intersex/herm stuff on the account it started doing really well, shocking me entirely. The more I posted I had comments, faves, and people asking me to have pics with them. The biggest shock being that when I looked at the most viewed pics of the year I jokingly wanted to see how many came from the Tyne account and it was shocking. Some of my paintings on my regular account was dwarfed in comparison by some of the simpler pics over there.
Recently I've been surrounding myself with some amazing artists working on very feminine shapes with their art and the help I'm getting from them is tremendous. As much as I buried myself into the muscle fandom, it honestly wasn't getting me far at all. Commissions barely trickled in over the last several months even though I felt that i had the connections with people to get a little more out of every discord and telegram group I was in.
The main thing is I'm gonna focus a lot less effort I had in creating muscular homoerotic male art. Other opportunities are opening up fast and the more I had spent working on it, more and more commissions came up in other avenues that I could pursue.
One thing that has always been on my mind is getting into larger heftier characters, male and female. I had some connections with people in that side, and recently a bunch have people have started following me that were supporters of those artists.
Hyper is another thing that I always wanted to try but never could get around to setting up impressive scenes like I know others do. But I definitely want to give it a shot.
Overall stuff is going to be changing. Some really interesting side projects are opening up. Going to VancouFur will have me posting stuff from there as well.
I'm doing an overhaul of my image atm. Broadening my horizon and taking myself where commissions may lie.

When I first started out I mostly tried to get into the muscle fandom as i was invited into some really cool groups of people. Talking and chatting with so many muscle artists and consumers as well. I improved rapidly over the entire year and became friends with a ton of people. Commissions were moderate, but I was still starting out too.
Tyne really changed all that. When I started posting more intersex/herm stuff on the account it started doing really well, shocking me entirely. The more I posted I had comments, faves, and people asking me to have pics with them. The biggest shock being that when I looked at the most viewed pics of the year I jokingly wanted to see how many came from the Tyne account and it was shocking. Some of my paintings on my regular account was dwarfed in comparison by some of the simpler pics over there.
Recently I've been surrounding myself with some amazing artists working on very feminine shapes with their art and the help I'm getting from them is tremendous. As much as I buried myself into the muscle fandom, it honestly wasn't getting me far at all. Commissions barely trickled in over the last several months even though I felt that i had the connections with people to get a little more out of every discord and telegram group I was in.
The main thing is I'm gonna focus a lot less effort I had in creating muscular homoerotic male art. Other opportunities are opening up fast and the more I had spent working on it, more and more commissions came up in other avenues that I could pursue.
One thing that has always been on my mind is getting into larger heftier characters, male and female. I had some connections with people in that side, and recently a bunch have people have started following me that were supporters of those artists.
Hyper is another thing that I always wanted to try but never could get around to setting up impressive scenes like I know others do. But I definitely want to give it a shot.
Overall stuff is going to be changing. Some really interesting side projects are opening up. Going to VancouFur will have me posting stuff from there as well.
I'm doing an overhaul of my image atm. Broadening my horizon and taking myself where commissions may lie.

I've been talking to people about what kind of art should I focus on. Try and build a loyal group of followers for my stuff. Some things just are working better than others. Certain characters and styles are just selling more that I'm not posting here much, but on another channel entirely. What did you guys think.
It brought up a good topic of finding people who like my art. Should I make a telegram or discord server for my stuff as well as updates to my work? Who would actively join and lime my work?
Anyways, just food for thought. Might slow down production of homoerotic work, just cause I havent been commissioned that in a while and there's no demand for it atm. If you want to feel free to, cause other no beefy things are being commissioned instead of it. Just giving a head up for people.

Further Confusion/Birthday/Commissions

First off im heading down south to go to Further Confusion in San Jose. Ill be there sometime Thursday afternoon and is leaving Monday night. If you manage to see me or anything feel free to say hi or give me a hug in my suit. If you wanna take any photos, feel free to. I'm getting slightly older >.> My birthday is on the 15th. I should really draw something for the occasion. I bought a couple pics. hopefully they come in on time for it so hopefully this week there will be stuff posted. I'm gonna be 26 and since i have the day off i may do some streaming. Probably in the morning, afternoon or late evening. Feel free to give me shouts on any of my pages.
Commissions are doing well. I've got a good amount lined up. Because of how busy this week in particular with stuff happening i may drop a pic or so but it my be until next week i really get a bunch of things done. I've got my Google sheet set up, and there seems to be more than before 0.o Thanks for liking and sharing my stuff. I'm always shocked when people are interested in my work and message me about getting stuff themselves.

OCTOBER UPDATES
Posted 6 years agoI'm looking to make a bunch of overall changes to my FA page, scheduling and everything. Been open for commissions for months now, and even though things have been trickling in, I've been brainstorming ideas on how to broaden my base and to make a decent amount from doing digital art.
Open for Ideas
It's not like I'm running out of ideas to draw, but if you have things people want to drae for you feel free to message me or thigs you wanna see more of. A specific art style, themes, poses, fan art? I'm all game if it can be of more people to my art.
YCH Pictures
I've been attempting a couple YCH Auctions recently with pretty lame results. I get feedback saying it looks cool or great, but not much in terms of actual bids. I'm planning on doing way more, but in a more here's a scenario first cone first serve type of deal. I can pump out more as well as not worrying about bidding.
Comics
They sell. And are pretty limited in who does them. I've got some simple comic commission ideas that I'm thinking of. Maybe in terms of a YCH scenario again.
Using my own characters
I want to draw more Vince. My giant muscular sexual hound of a Doberman. If people wanna get pics with him or anything, lemme know.
More intercourse and lewdness
My account for the most part is pretty lewd, but in terms of extreme posing or hyper things like that it's fairly tame. I'm gonna be working to do more to try different art styles from cartoonishly lewd to realistic lewdness.
The main things is trying to share my art out with the world and to find more people and characters to draw. I don't think I personally have a nice core loyal group of people who enjoy my art and would love to come back and get more. I have a couple don't get me wrong, just bot enough for it to be stable to pursue it as much as I had before.
