🌱 Recovery Progress 3 and Sidetrack
Posted 6 months agoUlu: Morning/Afternoon. My healing update is at the point where its a tiny bit up and down. I'm at that point where I am feeling better but still shouldn't do anything or I lose healing progress. One of my stitches Loosened and dug back into me causing some troubles two weeks ago, so that kinda set me back a bit (went into shock for the second time in my life real bad), but things are going well. The cats trying to jump on me are my biggest obstical right now in healing.
Mentally, I'm absolutely exhausted. Physically, also exhausted. And i'm craving pastries so much constantly because im bored having to sit around being useless for so long.

Looking forward to Snake in Beast of Bermuda game. Tested that while i could and it'll be fun to play around. (Hi to Floof). Excited to just crawl up into the weirdest of places. I wonder if I'll go for Semi aquatic or full aquatic. They're adjusting a lot of stuff for Aquatic, so there's a chance instead of Semi I might go full Aquatic for Snake. Maybe. Will depend on how it climbs because I still want to climb so I'll brobably still stick with semi because I want it ALL. X'D

🌱 Recovery Progress 2
Posted 6 months agoUluri: Been a while and lots of things Have happened since Surgery at the end of April. I am definitely recovering really well. Still have a weight restriction for a while but to me it feels like the only thing my body needs to heal up is to fix up some of the muscles that had to be cut. You got this Body of mine. You're doing great.
Aside from the good news surgery, I had quite a terrifying experience with a different "doctor" recently. I actually don't remember a portion of it as from what I can gather after Sin got terrifyingly upset, Happy swapped out instead. TLDR is extra religious "Doctor" started to pray without consent at me while I was having a very severe Panic attack. Nice big ol memory cut from in the room to into the hallway. (Happy's still Upset and shaken about it, and I'm still having nightmares.) Was Scary. euugh, just typing is giving me the big anxieties.
Still a tad difficult to get motivation to draw. When I do is like, extra short bursts and barely finishing anything i make. Art hard right now. Although the call of Stardew Valley and Beasts of Bermuda don't help. XD they make me feel relaxed.

🌱 Surgery Get! Went well
Posted 7 months agoUlu: I'm back from surgery yesterday. Everything went super well. Reading the notes from the doctor looks like everything was extra good. They even complimented my blood in the notes. xD I'm feeling pretty alert today now that I've rested pretty good.

So I put on my recording device while I slept last knight because I knew at least one would wake up. Sin woke up and only said, "Holy fuck" shuffled and I guess went back to sleep. Same, buddy, same. There was also meowing, so I assume Meowsy also checked out what was going on for a bit. Cool.

🌱 Guess Who's Foot is Locked in a Square?
Posted 9 months agoUlu: It's our foot. Mine. It's stuck in a SPecial shoe because while I was sleeping, I somehow Injured the hell out of it. Expected to be a Fracture, full results of xray later. It's at least not a full break. How the Hell did I hurt myself this bad and not know until I woke up in the morning?
Ulu wakes up, everything is fine. I move the blanket slightly. Pain from my toe that makes me see colors. Purple, cranky toe. What was it hit on so hard in the night? It was really something to try to explain that I had no idea exactly how my toe got like this to the Drs yesterday. It was easiest to just say I probably flailed around during nightmares.
Also, I frikken hate Hospital chairs. So much. They are not meant for a 3.5 hour wait to be seen for just Xrays. -throws hospital chairs across the page-

My asks are not for requests. "Can you draw [blank]?" and "Has your OC met my OC?" are not Asks I will be answering. I will also not answer nsfw asks that are not up my alley, either. There are some big No's in the nsfw category that I'm not okay with that has been asked a lot lately in this past year, and I am pretty sure some of them have been re-asked multiple times from the same few people phrased only a little differently. They're very specific and niche.
As for Asks asking for your OCs to be drawn with mine, there is a reason these are Anon asks. As these are not requests, the only other characters that would ever be drawn aside from my own would be the Anon Eevees. Do keep that in mind.

🌱Many Updates of Plenty
Posted a year agoI've been inactive for a couple months, yeah? Having difficulties dealing with everything is all. So here's the updates.
Medical:
Definitally holding me back. Especially on art. My Back hurts a Heck ton of a lot, so it makes it hard to do a bunch of everything. Aside from my back, I'm still trying to adjust to life mentally with my current "selves". ANd that's exhausting, and hard, and takes up a lot of my day.
Laptop Old
I think I'm going to need a new laptop soon. XD It's uh. It's old. I'm not sure how long this fella has left, but the place where the top attaches to the bottom half got a bit messed up somehow, too. I 100% def don't have the money to replace it, so if it goes I would probably just not have a lappy for quite a while.
Any Games I've been up to recently?
Playing Beasts of Bermuda (Pandamonium server/Chill) a lot. Because I like being neon dino. Waiting for Stardew Valley's big update. I'm excited to play with a bunch of my friends soon. A little bit of Slime rancher 2 here and there to help calm myself. Wish I could pet the slimes.

🌱Moving in Finally
Posted a year agoIt's almost there. I'm finally able to move into the home this weekend. I still wont have internet for a while, though. It's been a long time, gosh. In that time of the last journal i posted.... I got a job to help pay for the new home. ALthough I am not really sure how long I can do that. Because of my sad back, I had to only take 2 days a week.... that's not a lot.
I also won't have internet until October because we have to wait for installation. And had to frumple with customer service that kept hopping our call to other people to deal with it. Frustrating. So, this'll be the last journal for yet another long time while I move in and get everything sorted out.

🌱Update: Surgery n Big Move
Posted a year agoGiving a general update. Got Surgery Last week in the middle of me Also moving. That's chaotic. XD I'm fine. Waited to make any post for follow up on everything just so I was coherent.
Moving
It's ongoing. Currently temporarily at a different place before I can move in. The cats are doing good. Took Baby a little bit to get comfortable, but now that they're comfy i got to see that getting a bigger spaced house is going to be a big good for these kitties. It's made them happier and more comfy. Can't wait to get my butt in.
Surgery
Had to get surgery to Diagnose a thing, so it was a smaller surgery. Which sucked either way, frik. But here's the surgery/anethsesia stories!! XD Beforegoing in, the last thing i remember is the Bed Rails going up, and then all of a sudden i was eating gram crackers. XDDD I guess I don't remember putting my clothes on, and I also don't remember the wheelchair to the car! I am so sad! Apparently there was a cranky person at the door of the hospital, awwww. I wish I could remember the wheelchair ride. I can only remember FOOD! The next memory is french fries, and then I'm home.
XD The same thing happened last time I had anesthesia. The first thing I remember was asking for Yogurt. My mind is so strongly food focused. my gosh. I am a simple bean I guess.

Posted a year agoit's finally happening. I'm getting a new house soon. SO WITH THAT, things are going to be hectic for a few months I think. This is like, a huge as hell thing for our life right now. Scary. nerve Wracking. Exciting.
I am excited for the cats to have a bigger house. i'm excited to get my own room area to work in. INSILATED WALLS. I cannot tell you how much i desire a house that is insilated and not full of holes. I can't wait for that part of this. Im excited so much. A house that can stay warm in the winter, and stay cool in the summer I can't wait. ANd DOORS. Oh my gosh there will be working doors.
