Round four... FIGHT!

This is the 4th ever Arcade Fur Meet @ The Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham NH! Last time we had 60+ people and we're excited to see the event grow. The event starts at 5pm "furry time" - feel free to show up late, but PLEASE don't come too early! They won't be ready for us...

Pinball Wizard has 100+ pinball machines and 150+ classic arcade cabinets, as well as billiards tables, air-hockey, skeeball and claw machines. Machines take tokens (not quarters) and games cost $0.25-$1.00 per play; most are oldschool and are at the lower end of the price range. $20 cash gets you $25 worth of tokens, and Groupons are available online so plan ahead with your carpool buddies.

Fursuits are not only welcome, but encouraged! As before, we've reserved the party room at the arcade, which means tables for card games and food, and a place to store fursuit boxes. There will be spaces for MTG and Cards Against Humanity, as well as a table for snacks - feel free to bring treats to share with your fellow furs! Last time we had lots of tasty baked goods. There's plenty of parking, and great pizza, subs and Chinese food available at the restaurants right next door.

We ask that guests each chip $5 at the door to offset the cost of renting the place. Why rent out the room? The arcade is a business, they're there to make money... We know many if not most attendees will play card games and hang out rather than pumping quarters into the machines - and that's OK because we own the space for the night! In the unlikely event that we exceed the cost of the rental and snacks, additional funds collected will go towards making the next meet bigger/longer/better.

As always, let's be respectful of other arcade guests, and represent the fandom well. No drugs, alcohol or drama, please!

Hey Furries! I've got a summer internship in East Hartford and I was wondering if anyone out in that area would want to have a salamander roommate for about 10 weeks? So I decided to set up a furry night at the Leicester MA Drive in! All furries close enough are welcome to watch a movie or two at the Leicester Tripple Drive in! The cost is $25 dollars per carload for two movies back to back! all the info is here:

The place opens at 6pm and movies will start a bit after it gets dark, also the sound for the movies comes from a radio station. Bug spray and blankets and chairs are very recommended as well for comfy viewing.

Also the movies are announced a week or so ahead of time and are usually the most popular out at the time. So we will be able to choose movies later ^_^

This is my first time trying to set up a meet so I'm doin my best! Ideas and suggestion are very welcome!

So I get to work this morning at 430 to find one of the two people who arrive at 4 just standing there saying the other never showed up and they cant get in cause they dint have a key and I dont either. So I called both my managers multiple times and neither answered till like 450 and the store opens at 5 so I gad to drive to my managers house to grab a key got back and we had to open the store with no coffee bagels muffins or anything and then a rush started at 530 and I still didn't even have the donuts out on the shelves and then the two people who were supposed to come in at six BOTH didn't show up and we still had a rush and I was taking orders and my manager came in at 7 and freaked out on me for not having the baking done and I started getting freaked out and messing up taking orders which lead to more yelling and an eventual anxiety attack... I really hate my job.

So i had my sprint number integrated with my google voice so when people called or texted me i'd get it on all devices, however my dad changed something on my sprint account so google automatically deactivated the number and sent me an email saying it was a routine thing and i just needed to re verify it however then i got an issue. When i tried to reverify it couldn't fidn the phone (it calls you and you need to type in numbers to verify) so i had my dad call me and it gave him an error and i tried to call him and it said "I couldn't connect you to the number please try again"

So i called sprint and they oculdn't help, and im pretty sure its a google issue so anyone know what i can do? :(

Thats right folks its me and my flamey but hubby 's One Year ANEVERSARY today!!! In so happy and love him so much!!! Heres to another great year!

So yea, Im having quite a bit of money trouble suddenly, mainly the fact I have none and owe lots and I'm not sure what else to do. I now owe 1500 for my car repairs my dad forces me to keep getting and my boss won't give me more hours and my dad keeps acting as If im not doing enough even though i'm doing all I can so Im super opening my cutemissions for pay what you want for cute pictures and stuff, hopefully I can get a few more bucks this way and I know i'm not good but I'll try my bestest!!!

Squeee oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh!!! Heheh I just got back from the Massfurbowl, a thing that happens here in MA every once in a while and it was really fun! It was my first ever furmeet or anything liek that and luckily I had a few friends to go with;  ezrathewuff and  rijolt went with me, Rijolt having fashioned herself (with her magical skills of being awesome at anything: an amazing costume of feathers and solid white cool lookin lacey stuff and white jeans and makeup and she looked amazing and Ezra has a full suit himself, however I myself just had a green shirt and.. err, this: http://www.sjgames.com/plushtentacl.....g/cover_lg.jpg

I know it's a tentacle but the colors and marking on the top are perfect for full grown josh, which I've never really gotten good at drawing so I don't much I usually draw him 16-22 age range however I digress about that, back to the ... tentacle tail. while i'm happy I found it as it's pretty close it still has those suckers on it plus if you notice the beltloop thing is on in a way that makes it just hang there as opposed to looking like it's connected to my body, which makes it look awkward, other than that I had a green shirt and made armbands out of duct tape that match my arm markings though they weren't that visible under the black light, though apparently the green shirt( which matches joshie's tum color) is super black light sensitive and glowed like a bright ass mo fo! So I did feel a bit paleish in comparison to everyone else, it seemed everyone had a cool tail or costume parts at least, in fact I felt i was the worst done there but maybe that was just me, so that made me nervous. So I hid behind Rijolt and Ezra a lot who were having fun and making friends and talkign to old friends, and over time I started saying hi to people and coming out of my shell, singing and dancing as we bowled, though I did terrible, I got like 19, though Rijolt blew everyone away with a 104 or something.

Once i warmed up to people I had lots of fun hehe , I got a few tailtugs and gave some and noseboops and such and it was all really cute, little kids in the other lanes came over to ask some people for high fives and pictures and there wasn't one mean person there at all! They're all such cool people and I can't wait to go to my next meet, and it's made me really want to get looking into a suit of my own, though I don't know how it would work with josh's head especially! Hehe but I bet i'll find a way or maybe I'll go with a suit of a different sona owo

Most of you who know me know it takes a lot to get me upset, actually I'm pretty sure most of you have never seen me angry. But some things I can't tolerate and this is one of them. If you read my last journal you're briefed up to know but in case you didn't here : http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5581408/ : So after that fiasco I emailed the lady who's been working on my claim and service ticket and she appologized and said

"thanks for taking the time to reply, I know you called yesterday to Escalate to a Manager and I was not available, but I figured something had happened.
Well first of all, I completely agree with you being upset, how come they replaced the same part if we stated already it did not resolve it? I would be upset too.
I was following up with you as I knew IF the hard drive didn't resolve, it would have been a motherboard replacement, but I could not reach you on time for when the tech was still at your home and next thing I saw, there was the Mail in scheduled.
I want to resolve this problem ASAP, the resolution is to send the motherboard with a technician, it's the faster, more viable option right now.
I need you to let me know if you can let me proceed as well as letting me know if any complication arises from it after."

So as you can clearly see we established it was the motherboard (again) and she was going to send one, so i confirmed my address and she confirmed the shipment.

So the guy who came to repair it (super nice guy btw he rocked) he opens the back and stuff then goes to get the part and WHAT DO YOU FUCKIN KNOW?! They sent him another HARD DRIVE! Apparently meaning the lady lied to me and no one is still listening to me, I mean it's an email it's not like they could have misheard right?! So they guy who was repairing sympathized with me and decided he was just going to call DELL and tell them he replaced the HD and the motherboard and said it still wasn't working so I could just get it replaced, (see he's cool). So i thanked him and we called and he talked to them and hopefully (i'm on hold now) I'm just going to get my system replaced (again).

BUT STILL HOW THE FUACK GAHHHHHHH

Just yea, don't buy dell, ever. EVER, I mean I pay like 500 a year for this tech support and full coverage and they pull all this shit.

So the guy is trying to transfer me to someone who can help me with a system exchange and failing.. somehow? I mean how do you fail to transfer a call?!

I can't honestly believe how poor how disgracefully shitty the customer support at Dell has been for me over the past few years. It's Just unbelievable. First off the connection quality is so poor and i've tried from many different phones and different places but with the combination of broken english and constant static it's hard to make any progress, and it's not helped by the fact that the company seems to not want to honor it's contracts and just fucking fix your computer. The wait time on hold is dreadful as well it averages a half hour and they don't call you back if you get disconnected or anything and there are no direct lines at all. One time with my old computer they actually put me on hold for 3 hours before a message came up saying service hours were over and it hung up.

And I say old computer cause at one point they lost my computer in the mail when it was sent away for repair, apparently a big company like dell just tosses away it's tracking numbers for stuff. However worst so far is with my new computer somethings broken and It won't boot, (btw alienware is shit hardware it's fast but it lasts liek a few months) So someone comes to fix it on site and tries replacing the hardrive and that didn't work so they told me i'd have to send it away.

So i send it away after hearing the repair guy right next to me tell them on the phone (after he had to wait on hold for like 45 minuets) that it was NOT the hard drive and probably the motherboard so they'd need to replace those. So i receive it back and the ONLY thing they did to it at all is replace the fuckign hard drive again! And guess what i open it up and the second i hit the power button it gives the same exact fucking message! So they didn't even turn it on to see if it worked. It comes up before the bios too so they cant even say they didn't wait.

I am soooo fucking done with this company and am on hold to talk to the tech department head atm so hopefully I actually make a bit of progress, wish me luck.

So you may be thinking, hmm 'my tail is infected' what silly thing does little meepy mean by that? Well funny thing.. it's literal. See a large number of humans still have remnants of their tail apparently, my tailbone itself has always been a bit uncomfortably pronounced at times especially in things like hard middle school desk chairs and such, but apparently i have a bump of the flesh that goes along with it too, and that's infected. So quite literally, I have an infected tail and may need to see a surgeon if antibiotics don't help.

I know how it got infected too, which makes me a bit of the grump. See it's my dad's girlfriend's daughter's job (and her only job around the house) To clean out the bathtub that her me and my sister share. And she hasn't done it in months with no consequences. In fact with all my busyness I still clean it out myself like once a week but not very well because screw dat it's not my job. I always take showers but sometimes i sit down in them a bit, not so much recently because of how gross it is and the fact the water doesn't go down the drain cause it's clogged but I'm guessing that's where the infection came from...

So yea, my poor tail(ish) may have to be surgery'd upon. And since the only other way is antibiotics AND soaking it in a <i>BATH</i> I dunno how i'm gunna avoid it. :<
