Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip (Known as The Hip as well) Sadly died of Brain Cancer about 2 days ago. He was 53 years old. The Hip has been a very iconic Canadian since 1984 and has left a great legacy for many Canadian Fans (Both young and old). RIP Donwie!

Merry belated Christmas to you all! Lets hope next year will be better for all of us (as of recent we lost George Michael and today, Carrie Fisher and other celebrities before that). Let's remember for their talent and how the captivated the world with said talent as well as keeping their legacy alive in their large body of work they left behind for us!

25 years ago today, one of rocks greatest flamboyant front-man, Freddie Mercury tragically died from AIDS 24hrs after announcing his illness to the public. Let us all keep fighting the illness that took him as well as others, from us all (Famous or personal) as AIDS still affects people all around the world!

Today is Freddie's 70th Birthday. Also today, Brian May (who is also an astrophysicist) the guitarist named an asteroid after the flamboyant singer. It was discovered the same year he died in 1991.

Long live Queen! Let us keep fighting against the sickness that took him and many others away from loved ones.

I arrived yay. Have my laptop with me, but for some reason I can't even access the main screen to type in my password go figure. I bring my tablet to show my friend it in all its glory and my laptop won't work lol. Ah well I won't let this be a downfall to anime north xD

Well I am heading to Anime North tomorrow around 2 or so (or maybe earlier that depends) check in a bit early get my badge and blah blah blah the usual stuff to do at anime cons :P. To this attending weather calls for scattered showers an whatnot so bring and umbrella! (As the weather forecast stated)

Seems that there are a lot of celebrities dying sadly. Artist Prince and Chyna both died within literately a day of each other sadly. I am not into Prince's music much but he no doubt was a very gifted artist and his unique looking guitars and fashion sense. Chyna was a bad ass wrestler that was someone who you didn't wanna have smack you around. Get a good ass kicking off her XD. May they both rest peacefully! :)

Well I never update anything that I do on my free time but yesterday at Best Buy my friend, and I bought tablets (art kind) he got the the one that says Intuos Art art thingy and I have the Intuos Comic thingy. After downloading it seems I cannot access and well the site is under maintenance (which would allow me to download something). So soon enough my sad excuses for it will be sorta digital eventually. Least this way if I fuck up on something I can easily correct it after some trial and error with using it. Whew! About fucking time I got one for myself. Just wish I got it a few years ago but w/e I have it now.

Since its late here I'll try to be brief (since I am also quite tired lol) I enjoyed FE as I always did when it first started in 2010 (my very first con to go to furry related) managed to get one art piece done from the very friendly Eevachu (not sure if she has an FA on here or not if she does I most likely forgot) and just enjoyed myself as usual. Next years FE is rock theme! I am gonna be all over that! Sing myself into silliness :P.

Another loss to a celebrity is British actor Alan Rickman who died of cancer age 69. Really shitty this year. We loose David Bowie following Alan. Let's remember them all for their art and charitable contributions and others :)

I just found out that sadly David Bowie had died yesterday age 69 from liver cancer. I know a bit about him (Mainly him singing Under Pressure with the late Freddie Mercury) and that Jim henson movie The Labyrinth and a minor celebrity Klaus Nomi I know a bit more about his music cause my friend is a big fan of him :P.

RIP David Bowie I hope you and Freddie are singing together!

This is 2 days belated as this I had forgotten this but I will make it brief XD

On December 8th 1980 John Lennon was killed by Mark David Chapman in New York. It has been just over 30 years since John was killed but his legacy lives on in his art and his fans around the world as well as hoping for world peace in some way or another (which sadly at this point won't happen since news media outlets and other things like to favor unpleasant things and pain and suffering over the human triumph and acts of compassion). As for Chapman well there is a special place for him to go after he's dead.

24 years ago today Freddie Mercury former front man of the British Rock band Queen died from HIV/AIDS (technically it was bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS but I'm splitting hairs on that). Despite having him gone for many years he still lives on through his music. Despite we have come a considerably long way when HIV/AIDS first became a serious health problem years ago, some peoples still struggle with this terrible disease. Keep fighting to rid the world of this as well as any other illnesses that plague humanity!

Happy Halloween everyone! Stay up all night watch scary movies, eat candy, dress up etc etc. Be safe and have fun!

14 years ago today the world trade center was hit by two planes killing many lives that day as well as flight 93 when the people valiantly fought the hijackers to stop the flight from doing further damage. Let's remember the lives lost and hope others who were involved in this tragic loss will suffer severely for their horrible act

Today would have been Freddie Mercury's 69th birthday. Miss you Freddie!

two days ago on November 24th was the 23rd anniversary of the death of Freddie Mercury, who was 45 years old when he died from AIDS complications. May the front man of Queen keep on rocking where he is!
