I post them here and there but obviously on a gallery site such as this there's no gif support like that or anything.

If you haven't seen my other fursuiting video yet you should really check this out! Lot's of work went into it and it's unlike any other fursuiting video you've ever seen! This year, we missed some deadlines, were lazy here and there and one way or another I'm in the midst of a few straight months without cons or holiday rush work. It's the first time in awhile I've had time to focus on not stocking up things for the next convention, and so when my life isn't spent devoted to my partners or doing whatever I am doing more art, trying to be active, and posting online.

How is this going, well I've always been kind of a weird outlier but I've been on a strong streak finishing my monster zodiac series, I've actually had some art and stuff to share, made a new plush pattern, and am getting around to some overdue grab bag crafting with my business.

I joined Furry Amino, I'm "Pooka" on there. I've been making a true effort to be active on it and as far as social media goes it's been some of the most rewarding for me since it's sometimes so hard to get feedback or connections on other sites. I love how active the community can be.

I'm trying to do more fursuiting stuff and just... in general more variety of things and finished products. There's so much I want to do and my personal life can also be demanding of my time. Hopefully the work I do finish and share is worth something to someone, when you throw stuff out there and the response can be very quiet sometimes you start to question if what you're doing is actually worthwhile or not.

So I do really hope what I'm doing right now is enjoyable and desirable, I'm trying V~V;;

Doing a good job maintaining an online presence is so different for me now than it used to be a long time ago like in high school and stuff... You know I of course didn't have an FA back then but on places like DA and LJ and stuff I was fairly active and consistent but now I am so infrequent in making journals, regularly submitting things, and replying to comments. Today I had to just admit my failings and nuke comments on things because I'd feel like a real grade A putz replying to someone's compliment on a piece 6 months later like "thank you!" YuY

But man I dunno, it's not that I'm not working, you know I am constantly sewing just about every day or doing some form of work but I don't really get around to drawing like I used to, however it is something I want to do at the same time :Y

My life has changed a lot recently with the very least of it being in a completely different house now so I feel like perhaps everything will be changing and for the better. I have aspirations for what I want to do and now that I'm actually settled, have a grasp on the online queue and a stock of things for my traveling con stock showbizz life that maybe I can focus on what I want to if I can muster the focus and stuff.

You know I think about submitting the plush I make sometimes but so often it's just different colors of things I've already shared. What I really need to do is actually draw sometime.

Gosh I'm just rambling now, the point of this was really just to lament on how different my online voice and stuff is now. The internet is so different now with everyone being all well established and stuff too so it's just a weird thing. 9~9

Anyway I am active and actively check stuff all the time I just don't participate like I used to, for better and for worst. What is it gunna be like going into the future with the big changes in my life? We'll see.

It was the first convention I ever wore my fullsuit to... and I did not expect to have a really emotionally intense experience there.

I am awkward and embarrassing so I am know I can only convey so much of it through being on camera... but I hope you'll still watch my weird face and maybe get to share the experience with me.

Last weekend I finished up the June convention I've been hastily preparing for in the midst of a move (Colossalcon) and now with my life feeling more concrete and awesome I'm moving into preparing for July. For those that don't know, July is going to be a crazy month for me with 3 conventions. I'll be attending, and selling at, Anime Midwest, Otakon, and Anthrocon (which I hope and expect to see some of you guys at!)

So I am so in the midst of working on my online store and preparing for next month my submissions here are gunna be slow and always I don't have a lot of time for custom stuff. However after July we'll see where I'm at!

The move was a big monkey wrench in preparing for this but it was something I didn't have a choice in, the amazing thing is I am now finally living with my partner of 8 years which has been a desire of mine for so long. It has been a great relief and joy to finally feel like I'm where I want to be and working towards building my future. I am in a good place and so eager to keep making more art and expanding my brand into the future.

Thank you so much for all past, present, and future support, it drives me to keep going every day! I always appreciate everything I have and I feel so fortunate and blessed to be where I am today.

There is nothing in this world quite as entertaining as the parody sparkledog regfs OH MUH GAWD XDDD they're so funny and accurate to what that whole period was like

I am past my high school deviantart things so are the crazy scene-haired sparkledog characters and refs like... still a thing? I feel like I haven't seen that since I was in high school. The hilarious thing is then the whole "THING" that was sparkledogs was just this weird phase that came and went out of the collective 13 year old art genre it's so funny XDXD

You know how past fine art periods are called movements? Dadaism, Impressionism, Modernism, etc. Are we going to have all those movements with beautiful examples and then this big art movement that was "THE INTERNET INFLUENCE" that was just full of furry, my little pony, and all the other crazy stuff? XD

I am totally not drunk while writing this.

Well gosh, my 25th birthday is scarily close, it's the 9th today and it'll be my birthday on the 15th. At what point is it appropriate to start dreading and fearing getting older? XD I feel kind of like that right now even though I'm aware I'm still young.

Anyway other than that, like I mentioned in my last journal I was accepted at a dealer to Anthrocon and I'm really excited, I've been to numerous anime conventions but never a furry one. I suppose I'll actually take this opportunity to list off my current con schedule (I'm selling at all of these :) )

It's been 8 months since my last journal, wow, it doesn't seem like it's been THAT long. XD

Anyway, just making a new journal to say I'm going to be at Anthrocon 2015! I won't be an attendee though, I'm going to be in the dealer's room. All the more easy to find me though, right? And of course, I will be selling my plush stuff, so if you want to see what I do in person you can come see me July 9-12!

So, I'm pretty excited about it. I'm sure I'll make note of it again come closer to July. :)

Over the past couple months I've had multiple people communicate with me interest about getting custom plush work done, at that time my queue was very full so my status was that I would take them on later. Recently I finally cleared my backlog of things to finish, and that even involved canceling and refunding a couple of them. As the latter may indicate, I needed to clear the custom work for a while because starting in June I'm going to be attending 3 anime convention artist alleys in 3 months and not being able to start stocking up on products for it was stressing me out. Though I've been selling my work online and at a convention for a few years, I've never done anything to this extent and it's really important because now that I'm out of college and doing this it's kind of a make-or-break time that will dictate whether I'll be continuing to try and make it as an independent crafter or if it's not going to be a feasible career path and I should stop it.

So, to the people that have expressed interest in my custom work and are waiting for me to get back to you, I may be staving off from it longer than expected. Perhaps not until my con season is done or until I'm burnt out on product production and feel like doing some custom patterns. I do love doing custom work a lot and I will continue to do it in the future, this is just the reason I've been not turning back to it for awhile.

Today I saw that I hit 300 watchers here on FA. I wanted to thank everyone who has taken an interest in my work and decided to hit that little button up until now.

You see, I have a very old deviantart account, 7 years old in fact. And from the time when I was actively able to pump out a lot of content to now when I put up my plush work, every watcher and every bit of attention I received on that site has been a struggle, and it seems even harder to have any sort of impact there these days.

When I joined this site I did not have high expectations for myself, why would I? I was just putting up my stuff and seeing what would happen, but I find myself feeling much more relaxed with what I can submit, the users (you guys!) have been much more quick to pick up on watching me and commenting on my work than a huge site like DA ever was, and I even feel more eager to fave more things.

So, it's been a good experience for me thus far and I wanted to share that humbly to everyone who has gotten me to this little landmark. Thank you very much!

this journal is really pointless but I just finished a commission for a rappig and it's so cool but it sucks it's too dark to take nice pictures to submit it yet. I'm all excited to put it up here and everything but I have to wait till it's lighter. So to stave my excitement I'm just making this really pointless journal talking about what I will be submitting in the future wow XD

Um but basically a rappig is this animal from a tales of ____ game. They're really just cute spotty pigs with long ears. I have a pig pattern I've made in the past but this one is pretty fancy. Guess everyone will have to wait till tomorrow or whenever I get to submit it to see it though hnnngh

My birthday! It's January 15th and gosh this month has been flying by for me. I'm going to be 24. ogeez. Also, I'm requesting my mom to acquire a cake called a cassata cake which is a cake I've hyperbole-d about since the one time I had it in my youth. At least I think it was a cassata, or the "cleveland version" which I didn't even know was a thing

I didn't even know it was called a cassata cake I just had these nostalgic memories of a whipped cream-like frosting cake full of strawberries, that every time someone asked me about cakes I would describe how it was the best cake I ever had. Well this year my mother is all excited to bring me one, I'm just paranoid it will never live up to these really high nostalgic memories of it. XD

Also I'm hoping my roomies will want to go to my favorite Japanese/Sushi buffet for my birthday, it's a little expensive so I haven't been there in awhile. There's a really cute little old man that makes the crepes and this soup that is so cute and I love him XD

Hello, I wanted to quickly acknowledge something. I've been receiving a handful of comments from people who are interested in more spittake icons, and I haven't replied to any of them which I apologize for. I haven't because I'm currently really busy because I'm getting a lot of big plush things I have to finish for Christmas and whatnot, busy like "sew from time you get up to time you sleep which is progressively later into the next morning and take maybe two hours tops to do other things" busy. So I have left inquiries unanswered so I can easily keep track of them when I'm not busy anymore.

I'm sure most if not all of the people that have actually commented on various things about them thus far won't see this journal unfortunately. And my need to step away from these temporarily may result in some people not wanting them by the time I get to them, which I'm really sorry for! I plan to go through and respond to everyone as soon as I am done with this queue of plush stuff which probably won't be till December end at the earliest and it may take even longer. For those that wait till then I appreciate the patience. For anyone who does want one eventually, try not to be put off by this and feel free to drop a comment on this or anything else related to the icons so I can get back to you when I do have the time to do them again.
