Hey, folks. Quick update.

First, sorry I've been gone from this site for so long. I don't have any other excuse other than lack of energy. Later on this month, however, I will do some reorganizing here. That includes new galleries and catching up on uploads.

Sorry for not putting these up earlier.

I'm gonna be bit busier with my job, as well as trying to keep the blog up and running. So, I've been trying to balance everything out recently.

Have y'all been seeing the news lately? Crazy shit, right?

In all seriousness, I've been having to make a lot of alterations to both my personal and my work life during this past week. With all the bombardment of bad news and life changes, I was dealing with a bit of mental and emotional stress. Because of this, I couldn't bring myself to do any drawings or commissions.

So now that my state of California has announced a full on lock-down, and I'm feeling a little more stable, I will soon start getting a lot more done during this month-long isolation. In fact, the first handful of commissions should be done within the next few days!

Hey everyone!

First of all, I apologize for not being super active on this site. While I've been frequently posting on Tumblr and Derpibooru, I've been kinda pushing this one to the side.

So, here's my plan for January...

I'm gonna catch up on a bunch of older requests I've already promised to do. I've been putting them off for WAY too long, and I feel terrible about it. I'm NOT doing every single one that comes my way. I'm trying to be a lot more strict on which ones I will or won't be doing. If it's simple and I like the idea, I'll do it. Otherwise, I'm not doing it at all.

I'm also gonna upload a bunch of my newer stuff on here for all of you to see! It's mostly EQG stuff, but expect a few surprises here and there. ;)

So basically, long story short, I'm gonna be playing catch up next month.

My plan for February (in theory)...

I'm gonna start doing commissions. Not sure how I'm setting it up yet. Maybe three Ko-Fi's per picture. Or five for something more complex. I've never done commissions before, so... we'll see what happens.

If you have any tips or advice regarding commissions, I'd love to hear it!

Reading those books and staying up til the morn were such vivid memories for me. As frightening as they were, I was still swept up by a sense of nostalgia when I first saw the trailer for the film adaptation. I was optimistic, yet cautious... not because of my cynicism towards the Hollywood greed, but because of my fears of horrors and creeps.

You see, contrary to my resting bitch face and my laid-back style, I am actually a sensitive little shit who's afraid of her own shadow. And yet, as always, friends would find a way to drag me to the nearest ticket booth and tie me down into a theater seat. And as always, I must spend that sleepless night forcing my eyes shut with my bedroom lights switched on from my fears of cheap movie frights.

So last night, I sat in my seat looking up at the screen. I had a soda in one hand while the other trembled as it shielded my eyes. Relatively speaking, it was all okay... jump scares here, loud noises there. Nothing too traumatizing as of yet.

But then came a certain scene... a scene that scared and disturbed me far more than it should have. But it was not what was on screen that shocked me most, it was what it did to me.

Something inside me stirred and awakened... something sick and depraved... a fetish that should not exist...




Help me...

Just saw it today. It wasn’t... bad. It was certainly nice to look at. But what’s the point? Every decent scene in that movie was already done better in the original. 20 years from now, people are gonna still watch the first Lion King.
