Posted 9 years agoThe past few months have been really hectic to our suit building, i (ren) moved to a different town and scul got a new job so we are sorry for all the delays!

Posted 9 years agooh wow, we have been less than active! sorry about that!
Progress is at an all time low as Ren is finishing up college and will be moving away really soon (boo!), I have absolutely no money to buy materials and glue for glueguns and due to certain circumstances, space in our crafting room has halved.
We ARE working on a project that will hopefully clear some space in our crafting room and bring in some much needed cash (to buy precious, precious glue!).
We hope to have something to show for this in the next week or so.

Posted 9 years agoSorry about our recent silence, all! Today we are finishing up our pink candy canine and will hopefully have her up for sale in the very near future! She is intended to be a Ladder auction, most likely starting at £200 for the head, £250 with hand paws, £300 with a tail and £350 with arm sleeves. If bidding reaches over £400 (we can dream, right?) super secret added bonuses will be added too!

Posted 10 years agoWe are back! Kira the cat is still not 100% but her stitches and staples are being removed this wednesday! (I'm sure she will be happy to be free from her cone of shame!)
we got a lovely big box of fur today and the patterns are cut out and ready to sew for our pink premade canine! Fingers crossed I will have that done by the end of the week :3

Small Hiatus
Posted 10 years agoMy cat recently had to have a small operation which, unfortunately, had a few complications. I honestly thought I had lost her yesterday but the vets did wonders and get her back to me in one piece! I will be taking a couple of weeks off of furring and foaming to keep a close eye one her as she cant go into our fur-room (faux fur particles and fresh wounds dont dont mix well!) and she is still very weak and stressed out.

Run down of what we are up to right now:
Kalix IS done and has been out and about at one of out local meets. We have not uploaded any photos, however, as we had a lovely fellow fur take some awesome pro piccies and we are just waiting for them to be sent to us.
Our airbrush has sputtered and died :/ it spits out globs of paint rather doing its intended purpose... This unfortunately means we cannot finish the other head we were working on as the commisioner specifically requested airbrushed markings. As much as I hate to be unreliable, I will offer a full refund if he is unhappy about waiting longer D:
I have made a foam base that will be compleated very soon (hopefully, depending on fur shipping times) that will be auctioned off to fund materials and replace/fix our airbrush. She will be a pink and white canine and we may do a ladder auction to come with upgrades, such as tail, paws, sleeves, etc.
Pics of the WIP will be uploaded later today.
We are experimenting with Dremel tools and glasses (the drinkie kind) and MIGHT have something new for y'all in the future. I need a bit more practice first :P
Eeerm, I can't think of or remember anything else just yet so we hope you all have an awesome day!

That time o' the year

'Tis nearly crimbo time again and so we here at MCF would like to wish all our watchers (all 14 of you beautiful fuzzys!) a merry christmas (or whatever holidays you celebrate... If none, well, then have a happy thursday) and a happy new year -*cough*AndSculsBirthday*cough*-
On a side note, both heads we are working on are at the furring stage now but all fursuit work is on hold until early January... I ran out of glue for the glue guns and will have to wait for next payday to buy more!
January we will be finishing them off and starting on new premade heads to sell for real-real (not for play-play) and we will still be open for vial pendants (most likely at a Jan discount) and "Tea-ny fursonas", But Y'all have to wait for them ;)

Updates
Posted 10 years agoWe apologise for the lack of updates this weekend. Due to our every-day lives we are currently limited to working only on mondays (BOO college and stuffs!) so that may mean updates get shuffled about a bit.... May I also state that maker mondays are getting a bit *ahem* distracted by other people at the moment (the last monday I had 5 people turning up... this leads to major distractions...) hopefuly we will get shit done this upcomming monday and have pics for y'all!
We really hope to get both of our heads done and new projects started before new years!
