So its pretty clear to most of you I haven't been active like at all lately.

Im still getting watchers though miraculously enough but I wanted to put this out there to let them know, and set expectations.

Ive given it a lot of thought and decided commissions are going to be permanently closed and art is going to be sporadic at best. The reason for this is, I originally had goals to make a career out of this but life/ God had other plans for me. I still draw, not outside doodles, but to be honest Ive spent more of my free time gaming with friends than anything else and find that I enjoy doing that much more and find it more worthwhile than spending hours on my own scribbling at something that I end up never really finding fulfilling due to afterwards finding flaws in it and just hating it for those.
People would say "well just practice more" but, I dont find it worth it to put in the time. Maybe other artists do but my passion for it is pretty much nonexistent at this point. Its become just "something fun I do when an idea comes and I want to humor it for a day or an hour or something." I was investing more time into my pieces than I think I'm currently willing to. Like I guess its more of a hobby now, the moments Im interested in my work are fleeting. Where I used to be more dedicated to the pieces Im working on, setting aside days/weeks at a time to dig in and get works done, I am now to a point where when I stop, I tend to not start back up on the same piece anymore, I've started seeing it as a chore these days.

To those of you I owe work to btw, I plan to issue refunds to those people within 2 weeks time finally, keep an eye out for a DM/ Announcement in discord with this page linked to it, and I want to remind you that I thank each and every one of you for getting me out of that difficult time I was in when I started it. This is pertaining to the "Encountering Magic" comic I had started years ago with Mousie that had paid slots for character roles/ cameos. This includes a refund for even those pages (which were not many) that were completed due to me not finishing the arc the character is featured in and for the sake of simplicity

I dont plan to finish it. I did for a while but for the last few months Ive been beating myself up for it, and when I go to do it, Ive been finding excuses not to. This has lead me to believe my passion is gone for the project, and art in general has been treated this way as well. So this is also a formal apology for any time wasted for this project. Moving forward again I plan not to take anymore commissions until such a time as my passion is rekindled for my artwork. This may or may not happen, I do not know, but I appreciate all of yall sticking with me until now.

I might start posting my random unfinished doodles occasionally, but largely, Im stepping out of the game. Yall have been fantastic, yall have been great, most notably, yall have been more patient than I deserve... but I think I'm movin' on from here.

Thanks for hangin around. I'll still be lurking in FA cause I love the art still, just not gonna be making much of it anymore. Thankfully there are many other great artists in my watch list that you might want to try following who love their work more than I love mine, and probably deserve you alls attention more. Some stuff kind of happened and I'm a little bit swamped with things to do... rest assure d that the comic with  Malkanis Is still going. you can check out their page to see it for now. I'll be posting it here eventually as well.

I kinda lost my job and I'm doing Uber/Lyft 12 hours or so a day to keep things from falling apart. This cuts into my free time a little bit but not too much unless rides are really busy. So between that finding a job (though I prefer to just Uber, but it'd be hell on the vehicle) and artwork, I'm still trying to work on my time management a little, so bear with me.

Things I'm working on right now are Mousie's comic, a new ref sheet for Nuaha, and a birthday image for someone who's bitrthday is in september. Its a secret... and completely random, I just found them on FA and I love their char design.

Anyway thanks for hanging in there with me. I'll be posting images again soon.

Figured Id update those watching me. Ive been working behind the scenes for the most part till now. Wanted to be sure I was committed to the idea before I wasted you guys' time, but  Malkanis has ideas in their head and I said I was interested in helping them realize the project. Details located in their journal here.

After working on the first three pages I'm super pumped and feel like I'm ready to tackle several challenges as long as I can keep the momentum going.

Okay folks I'm back finally... sorry about the long as hell wait but things didnt really go so well for me and honestly they still arent so much but I didnt want to keep you guys in the dark. So here's a rundown:

1. The biggest thing getting in my way currently (which isnt SO bad but still kind of a pain?) Is the fact that I'm getting a BUNCH of hours at work... the GM and I are the only manager's right now so I have to work near to every day to keep the workplace afloat till the regional finds someone to take the-other-guy-who-walked-out's place and get them trained.

Its a pain cause I dont have time to work on scribbles except for a single day and for me a full res image is a weeklong ordeal. Its not THAT bad cause the extra hours means overtime... which means I got the BIGGEST check I have ever gotten in a 2 week period.

2. For those of you interested in commissioning me, you may have to wait a bit longer. If you arent one of those who got with me in August about some artwork that I couldnt deliver on due to my tablet breaking, I wont be accepting any more commissions until my backlog is pretty much erased. Really sorry. =(

For those of you who arent aware, my tablet went kaput yesterday. Basically the chord and connectors to the tablet are too heavily damaged, when the chord connects to the tablet, the light itself flickers on and off, and the chords connection to the socket on the tablet end is loose and wiggles. To give you an idea about how long its lasted though... Wacom stopped selling these tablets on their website 3 years ago, possibly longer... its been three years since I checked, and I got it long before then as a gift from actually one of my watchers for my birthday. I feel its best to leave his name confidential and let him speak if he wants.

Anyways... to commissioners, I've sent all of you a note or contacted you on skype... if I havent sent you a note and I owe you are PLEASE send me one, I wanna make sure I get everybody. Refunds will be going out for unfinished work.

Sorry guys and thank you so much for watching. IO'll try to have the issues resolved asap... hopefully in the end I get a better tablet.

Kinda getting frustrated with my current work, I got into a pose that I find too complicated to understand all the crossing sketch lines. Poor planning on my part, so I hope you guys can forgive me but I'm gonna try to start over on the image I'm working on, this time maybe I wont try to rush it so much. I always screw up when I rush.

Okay guys, gonna be starting.... well have already started on these $15 commissions. Once I get them to the coloring phase I'll start posting stream schedules. (unless you guys dont care to watch the lining phase which takes a pretty long time for me and may seem boring, I dont know how people feel about them.) I dont stream the sketch phase because I feel it requires the most focus and care for me and streams are pretty distracting when you want to interact with everyone there.

In other news! I JUST HATCHED A MAGMAR~ and I'm totally stoked... I've also surprisingly been able to hold 2 gyms in my area for more than 5 minutes... in fact in about 6 hours it will be 24h I've held both gyms, cross your fingers! I love recurring rewards, how about you?"

Also another big thanks to you guys for sticking with me. I'm still working on doing a better job of keeping you all updated, so bare with me. I want to make it so journals like these are kind of a regular thing!

Here are some rules!

1. No extreme fetishes. If you need me to elaborate, if you dont mind sending me a note I'd be more than happy to. Some examples include but are not limited to: Vore, Scat, and Gore. (Small cuts and bruises are fine though, and watersports is a case by case thing, note me for details.)

2. Comics allowed BUT, you're charged per panel instead. I usually charge 10-15 USD a panel depending on content. (Minimum 3 panels, 2 panel comics I consider one image really.) I can drop these down to 5 - 10 USD a panel, content dependant.

3. Spread the word! Well... you dont have to but it would be much appreciated... depending on how this is received I'd like to do more of them. Seriously. You can do it however you like, maybe a journal, I'd love links to them. If you dont thats fine too though.

4. Maximum 2 characters for this price. Otherwise its $10 per additional char after 2. I did this so that commissioners have the opportunity to get their friends in in a couple pic if they so choose without breaking the bank, cause I love couples. X3

A little update for those of you who might be curious. (I know you arent but let me finish!)

I spent all day with my RL brother HexPony...his tumblr page here (http://ask-hex-albel-weiss.tumblr.com/) catching pokemon and I was AMAZED at how many people we met at the same location doing the exact same thing as we were, just out exploring, adventuring, catching pokemon. Its probably the first time in a long time that I've bumped into people and had a decent conversation opener ready..."Hey, whatcha trackin'?" It was easy to spot a trainer too. Just had to check and see if they were wearing the wristband or had their eyes glued to their phone as they walked. I met more people from  TeamValor as well... none from this particular website but yeah check these out btw, trainers, someones created accounts for the three teams to represent.

So anyway, I found out where the dratini hang out, and for those of you who dont know I caught a Dragonite in my backyard and have been bragging about it for nearly a week~

So now that I've found where I can catch them dragonite's about to go and wreck some first gen gyms once I get enough stardust.

Also caught a Slowbro and finally got all three starters, ending the search with charmander.

Evolved my Eevee into Jolteon (it chooses one of the three at random as far as is known currently) and evolved Pidgeotto into Pidgeot

SO I've had quite the busy day today and got a good amount of time outside in too. I'm currently tired sweaty and uber happy that a lot of other people are playing this game.

SO I've a grand total of 2 (Edit: 1) pokemon as of last night and this afternoon. (Not including my starter) I imagine water pokemon are going ot be more prevalent in my area seeing as I live near both a lake and a river with a creek in mt backyard. In hindsight my starter should have been Charmander because I imagine fire pokemon are going to be hard to come by. I chose squirtle though... Blastoise has been an all time fav.

Found a pokemon gym at the local food market here which is absolutely awesome because my brother works there, so I have to stop by every day, I'll be able to battle people, and he'll probably e getting a few in after work every day.

Right now the biggest annoyance is that servers are having some major issues day two. US servers have been going down on and off since release at 10PM last night. But thats my only complaint and honestly at this point I'm just kind of whining cause that should be expected of a game thats pretty damn popular even before release on day one-two. Hopefully they work out their kinks.

The games reliance on a consistent GPS signal kind of makes it difficult for me to play though if I want to be honest... especially near home, which is kind of at the edge of an expanse of hills and woods near a creek.


Anyway, complaints aside my roster SHOULD contain the following pokemon so far:

Squirtle
Poliwag
Eevee (Lost due to server crash... I am so salty right now, luckily theyre common here)


So how bout you guys? Anybody catch anything interesting or spot something in the game that might be cool to keep a look out for?

Just went live an hour ago and guess what? Server issues! Gonna have to wait acouple days for that to sort itself out but damn it if I'm not excited. <3

I'm not good at these but I want to try, for myself and for those of you who are watching me that might need it.

I've been spotting loads and loads of negativity and anger lately, and I've also been the cause of some of that... probably moreso irl than online thankfully for you guys. I wanted to let myself and the rest of us know that everyone makes mistakes and that we should do our best to learn from them or at the very least, try not to repeat them if we dont learn a thing, and for those of us who have been angered or upset, or set off balance... they meant no harm, I meant no harm. We're all here and we all want to be here together, to have fun, to laugh and have a good time.

Any other reason you're here should coexist with the first three.

And... um... uh... I really dont know what else to say aside from yknow. Just remember you're here to have a blast and forget all that other crap, guys.

My resolution for next week is to get more work done faster. I apologize to those waiting, but I got my paws on a game I thought I could binge fairly quickly, called Sakura Dungeon. Yes its a porn game, but its also a great back to basics rpg. I just had a look yesterday and realized when I beat the game that Id logged 42 hours into it over a 4 day period. Needless to say its put a dent on my free time, but it was a fun dent.

SO if you like Animu bewbs, a bit of yuri and some decent turn based rpg with solid mechanics and a 8/10 storyline that I found pretty engaging, I'd go try this out, its 20 bucks if I remember correctly.

DO NOT GET THE STEAM COPY THOUGH... but if you really have to, get the adult patch for it, not necessarily for the porn but yeah for the porn. You miss about 30 minutes worth of content in the "safe" version of the game, which I found out AFTER beating the game and permanently missed some scenes that I'd have to start all over to see again. I'm not doing that, you wont see me for another week.

So now I'm going back to being a responsible adult and I will be working hard on art starting monday and see if I cant pump out a few images throughout that week.

Gonna be working on some lines shading and maybe some color, if you want a headshot I'm taking 2 or 3 slots depending on time constraints. These will be shaded and colored sketches.

Otherwise I'm going to be completing unfinished works which seem to be piling up. Gotta fix that.

Note, I'll be playing Overwatch on my breaks here and there too but I'm gonna try not to get too far into it so I can get some things done.

Just letting everyone know, my job needs me to have servsafe certification done by tomorrow. That being said I doubt I'm going to get around to a stream or any artwork today due to the time constraints I'm stuck with I have to take a 6 hour course and am only 35% through it after 3. It may need to wait until Wed. if thats okay with you guys but I just wanted to let you all know since I mentioned that I might stream today.

I know people kind of look at you sideways when you ask for help with commissions but, basically I made a big miscalculation when it came to my funds.

One of my bill collectors who usually takes their money right away waited for two days and I didnt watch closely enough and kept spending money.
Needless to say I will be 100 dollars in the red after my overdraft grace period is up, so I'm asking for 100 dollars, but not for nothing. If you know anyone who wants decent quality art for a low price, I'm willing to do the following:

Full Color Sketch - 2 chars full body, 25 USD, (10 USD additional chars)
Full Color Sketch - Headshot, 10 USD. (Can also be an icon, let me know if you wish for one so I can optimize for it)
Short Comic - 3 - 4 panels 50 USD per page (2 chars, 5 USD Additional char per panel appearance)
