So things got a bit hectic on my end after Halloween finished, interrupting my posting as well as my ability to draw in general. Things are starting to clear up again, so should be able to return this weekend to business as usual. Apologies for the break.

On another note I'm finally getting my discord group set back up after the hack, so if you were a part of the old one please give me a poke so I know to invite you. For now, I'm keeping it to just those who were a part of the original, to keep things manageable, at least until I'm certain I have things back to relatively where they were.

Will be taking a bit of a break from the general 'catch up', when it comes to posting finished work here, in favor of getting up my work generally themed with a Halloween or Halloween adjacent setting in mind. Otherwise, I'm still as of now posting stuff from back in April, and if I continue as is I'll miss out on timing things to the holiday. Some of the work will still be 'older' works yet to be posted, but just fitting to Halloween itself.

Anyway not really important, just giving context for when things suddenly shift from easter bunnies and earth day, to ghosts, ghouls, and vampires, then suddenly back to summer fun on the beach lol.

So it's been like, months since I've posted anything...I've been so caught up with either creating things I could post, or dealing with life. Well, needless to say it is time to fix that. I'm sitting on a LOT of finished work and it's about time I start getting it up...and then keep getting it up!

In other words, incoming art dump lol.

EDIT: Also, I am now on Bluesky. I'll likey be posting either here, or there, as I don't really trust "X" to post my work anymore (though I will still be present to reblog/support others on there). Link for bsky is in my socials, under homepage for now until FA adds it to the list.

So end of last year and the start of this year ended up proving to be debilitatingly hectic. As a result, and as some probably have noticed, I haven't posting any new work since Halloween. That isn't to say there hasn't been new work to post, heck it's the primary reason I was so busy for these past few months. Needless to say, I have been sitting on a lot of finished work, and it begs posting. Thus I'll begin posting the work a few at a time over the next several days, likely culminating in the Goblins vs. Aliens pics as a set that I've been trying to finish among all this other work.

So it would seem I've been rather neglectful of posting my completed work here over......well....the whole summer. It's been a chaotic one, so it wasn't without reason, though also a bit uneven as I have some work on my twitter that was never posted here. Either way, we should soon see that remedied. I'll be first playing a bit of catch up with my also woefully neglected submission inbox, then I'll begin sharing all the completed entries I have in my folders here, starting with the ones that already have made it on my twitter.

So sort of mentioned this in a recently posted pic, but realized after getting some 'pokes' about my status I should have brought it up in a more 'visible' form like a Journal; so been essentially bed ridden much of this month. I did something to my back and ended up with sciatica, barely able to stand up for several days. It's not entirely clear what caused it, but the principal suspicion is the rickety piece of patio furniture I've been having to use as a chair the past year or so, as it has next to no back support or cushion, metal barbs in places with pieces snapped off, and isn't level. Thanks to some help from good friends, a much better chair is on the way, and as I've been able to get better through a good bit of rest and daily stretches/low impact exercises to help strengthen the back, once the new chair does arrive I should be back to work again. Apologies for not bringing this up sooner.

Belated journal, and realized that it's the first journal in almost a year to the day (as last journal was last year's one for the same message). Anyway, want to wish everyone a merry season, happy holidays, and hope you all have a happy new year. New art is one the way, starting with this years holiday specific stuff over the next few days, then likely a deluge of stuff I've been sitting on after.

Thank you to all who've watched me and supported me throughout the year, ESPECIALLY this year, and I hope you all have had a good holiday. Starting tomorrow, I'll be hailing the end of such a tumultuous year with a good flow of completed work, hopefully to bring at least a positive final week to this year that couldn't end fast enough. They will include my actual holiday entries, as I am running a little behind on those, but know they are on their way. Otherwise, by all means please share your holiday in the comments if you wish, I would love to hear about it.

So been sitting on a lot of finished work again (mostly as been focused on finishing a lot before halloween, plus been adjusting since the move), but as I do have a fair few specific to Halloween pics to share, I'll be starting to put up a lot of the other stuff I've been sitting on leading up to Halloween, a few at a time each day.

Not for myself personally, but it effects me plenty. Roommate was fired from his job, and his family is coming to pick him up to give him a window to recover in. Thankfully all bills are covered through till the end of next month, but I have a lot of big decisions to make now, and will be on my own for the foreseeable future. I'll keep everyone updated on things as they develop.

The last few months have, obviously, been chaos. For me personally a lot of up and down periods of stress, fear for loved ones, ect. has ultimately distracted me, and as such I have been neglecting managing my galleries and updating them; not for lack of work, I have been drawing this whole time (often at times to distract from the events going on and vent some stress), but I've ultimately been sitting on a lot of finished but unposted work since February. It's time to start posting those, so expect to start seeing a few unposted numbers each day until I'm caught up.

So, after some trials and planning, I think I finally have a streaming schedule I can present and keep to:

Monday, Tuesday: Stream Tentative, in the evenings 7pm MST at earliest. Commission/catchup streams.
Wednesday-Friday: 1pm-4pm MST, Commission/catchup streams.
Saturday: 1pm-4pm, Patreon streams
Sunday: 1pm-undermined/fluctuating end time, First come first serve Sketch streams.

Note these may occasionally get cancelled depending on my health and fatigue levels, or if something r/l gets in the way. Please follow me on my picarto, Lavenderroses, if you'd like alerts for them.
Also, this schedule will be starting this next week on Monday, so will be different this weekend.

Well, my new year did not get off to much of an impressive start. The flu bug my roommate brought home with him from visiting family finally caught me on the 3rd, and I was more or less incapacitated until the 8th. Since then, I've been working on a.) rebuilding my energy and health, b.) swinging back into a steady art production akin to where I was just before the holidays, and c.) working out how best to set my house (meaning my various sites and policies for commissions, streams, ect) into an improved order for this new year. I've been successful for a and b thus far, as for c, I'm still working on the details but I know a bit better what I want to do. I do want to get a consistent and regular stream schedule going so people can reliably tune in, and I want to establish a consistent theme for my patreon, and be regular with when I post fresh work instead of sitting on stuff for days. I believe I should have something more concrete worked out hopefully by Wednesday on the goals mentioned, and will probably compose a journal regarding it (as I also aim to increase journals and tweets just simply updating on my own personal status at the moment, keep everyone informed on what is going on in my own life.)

Things are now largely back on track since my week long parental visit ended, as such will be having a fresh batch of art postings coming in over the next few weeks; commissions, personal pics, and then some. Given it is Halloween/Dios de los Muertos in a few days, most of the new pics over these next few days will be largely anything related or fitting to that holiday, at a pace of roughly one to two pics per day. It does mean my postings for that time will be a bit out of order from when I actually finished the shared work, and will mostly be personal non commission work. Either way I hope it's something to look forward to and you all enjoy the new pieces. ^^

Meant to make a journal about it earlier the day she arrived, but haven't been left with much free time. Basically if you're wondering why the new art ended abruptly and went a bit quiet; mother's in town until wednesday. Needless to say, will be back at it again thursday with fresh updates and art postings.

So been sitting on a good bit of finished work yet again, generally something I do when I'm of a mind set of wanting to get to a specific point with my works in progress before I post anything new. Though still kind of wanting to be further along, I do feel the need to update badly, so expect starting later tonight (once I get the description details squared away) to be seeing some fresh postings, a few each day this week.

So June was a bit lacking in visible work. I still did get some stuff done, mostly at the start of the month, but didn't post much as is obvious. The last week of the month also was a snowball of a bit of a meltdown triggered after losing 2-3 hours of work because I forgot to save and my computer rebooted itself, which was then followed by flu likely helped by the stress, which caused my sleep habits to get messed up, which then helped trigger a bit of art block. Needless to say the whole mess set me back a bit. Well this next week will likely see a lot of streaming as I work to get back on track, as well as a lot of art posting of work that has been done but left un-posted, starting with a streamed 4th of July pic I did on the holiday yesterday that was meant to help cover some immediate expenses whilst I work out the backlog.

On another note, there will also be some older works being posted that were never posted here. This will be stuff that was originally done as patreon exclusive material, but given the recent issues regarding acceptable materials posted on there, and that the material maybe could fall under those categories in question, I've since removed them from Patreon and will be re-posting here. Meanwhile, I will be looking to work out what is to be done with said Patreon in the future. So long as NSFW overall is allowed, I will likely stay, but I've been thinking that what I do for the site should maybe have something more unique then just a few exclusive pics or posting of pics earlier then other sites like FA.

Starting today and excepting Saturday (the actual day of) I'll be doing daily streams in the afternoon; most to work on commissions, but a few (like today's) likely will be doodle/bust streams to help me pay bills and get food. Looking forward to streaming for everyone.

My apologies for the lack of activity this past month, short version was struggling with art block much of it. Thankfully things are starting to clear up for me, and starting with a fresh pic post in a little bit here I'll be back to regular posts most every day.

Many thanks for everyone who's been helping me with the issue mentioned in the past journal. We're about 200 from the goal to get the car back as well as make sure groceries and rent are taken care of. We hope to get the car back Monday, that being said the plan here is to indulge some $10 per character sketch streams this afternoon (likely starting around 1:30-2 PM MST and going till 6 PM) and most of the day tomorrow to finish covering what is needed. Then get the car back Monday, and Tuesday I will begin going through the pics for everyone who helped this week, streaming when I can. Again, thank you everyone.

Edit: also a bit of a break in new submissions over the weekend, wanting to sort of get my DA gallery caught up to this one.

Well this was a rather interesting weekend for my roommate, and by proxy myself. It would seem that he was behind on his payments for the car we both share atm, as when we went to try to run some errands Saturday we found the car missing, which led to a chain of events to realize that it gotten repossessed. What was most frustrating at the time was that with the holiday weekend (president's day) we weren't able to find out how much was needed to reclaim it till today. Though now that we did find out, things aren't much easier. Amount he's looking at is $2950 roughly, between the two of us right now we have $2450, some of which is needed for living expenses such as groceries.

Regardless to say commissions are open, and expect stream on my picarto daily in the evenings/late afternoons at least until this is over and I'm generally caught up.

Things are working out here and I'm back to a normal work pace, as such expect to start seeing a good bit of new pics (some a bit older at first for those following my patreon). Planning to update at a pace of one new pic in the AM/afternoon, and one in the evening each day till I've posted all the work I have finished at this point.
