Oh yea, I've had a BlueSky for a couple of weeks.
Posted a year agoHere it is: https://bsky.app/profile/k-libra.bsky.social
Made a Mastodon account.
Posted a year agoFor anyone who's giving it a try, you can find me here https://transfur.social/@k_libra
It's part of the TF instance on Mastodon, which means it's a part of a larger space curated for transformation fans and artists. So hey, maybe try it out since Twitter's rotted so badly.

Hey watchers, what's up?
Posted 2 years agoGrateful for the people that decide to watch me despite my now low output.
Hello to all, especially those who haven't spoken with me before.
Hello to all, especially those who haven't spoken with me before.
Gonna be at Furnal Equinox 2023
Posted 2 years agoI wear a cloak most places.
I will not be continuing on the list of commissions.
Posted 2 years agoI appreciate the patience of the people who took the time to want to hire me for work.
Last year was a ton of stress, especially after starting a job. It's been remarkably taxing and having the line of people waiting for me along with the expectations to be too much for me. Anybody who did still want work from me, I do appreciate your patience, but I can't deliver what you want with how I am.
I have to get back to doing what I want and allowing myself to screw around, fail, and develop without thinking about who is next and what I must do. I may open up again in the future, just don't know when.
As for the queue, it will be dispersed. There's no reason to keep people waiting.
Anyway, thanks for the patronage. I hope one day I can be comfortable doing this again, as tough as it can be.

Posted 2 years agoArt is hard.
When you're trying to learn on your own it can be even harder. There are lows that artists can hit regardless of skill level, it's not rare. Simply put, I've been essentially trying to learn on my own for a long time and I realized that it's not enough for me anymore. It's been a struggle to balance doing commission work and also experimenting and studying properly.
This is on top of a lot of personal baggage that affects me directly and that art easily sets off for me. So, that's the reason for very little work. Not to mention so many stressors of worrying for several months about losing where I live. That's been resolved but it hit hard. Too much. Then I had to figure out what it is that makes art so difficult and I've found it.
Lack of fundamentals.
I'm glad I can get away with some of my bullshit but I really feel it now and it doesn't feel good. So, it's back to basics.
Art is hard and I'm trying to make it easier.
This means holding back on doing some things I would like to do as well. So, some discipline is being learned.
It's very difficult to do work for myself and others with the same amount of attention that people expect of me. But, I have to choose myself or there won't be anything left.
Art is hard and it doesn't have to be that hard.
I'm even harder on myself and I'm working on that, too. Some part of me felt like actually saying this stuff in public. I guess there's a place for that.

Attending FE 2022
Posted 3 years agoFirst wave of commissions are complete.
Posted 3 years agoI will begin on the second wave of work in 2-3 weeks. I will contact the next client whenever it is I'm ready to return. Just be ready in case I decide to return before that time. Again, thank you all for your patience.
It's been an eventful couple of months and I'll be taking that time for personal work, Patreon work, and experimenting and learning to expand my skill set and hone what I like to do. Not to mention just taking a break from some obligations. I appreciate the clientele from this wave, both returning and new, and look forward to getting through the next.

Happy New Year, all you creatures!
Posted 3 years agoI wanna make it happy. There's shit to reflect on from the past years, but you know what? Even though I miss some things and some people, everything will be ok. Maybe it'll be ok for you too!
Thanks to all the new watchers and all the ones that stuck with me. Hell, some people watching me are bigger and better than I am, so thanks for looking my way!
To new and better art, to new and better times, to a new and better us!

I've made a Patreon. Please check it out.
Posted 3 years agoHere it is: https://www.patreon.com/k_libra
To start, I'd like for everyone to know that this doesn't mean the end of posting art or the end of commissions. What this means is that I'll be posting personal art much later on. Specifically, there will be a 3 week delay on posting any personal art here and everywhere else. Stuff like this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/44891621/ this https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43252058/ this https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40022953/ and this https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43252058/ will be going up later. I'll still also be streaming things, so you can still catch Patreon work being made there as well.
I still want to share what I make, which is why I don't want a total paywall up. But, support like this helps and I want to use this as a way to build and expand my skills by involving people who appreciate my work. This means the potential for voting on what to do next, what elements to include in my work, and so-on. All to make more compelling pieces of work and be more like the artists I admire. Anything people are willing to chip down for will always be greatly appreciated and I'll be doing what I can regardless of patronage.
So, bullet points:
- Tiny amounts are accepted for general support (and they matter).
- Join in to see art early, or even help drive my artistic direction, subjects, and development.
- Commission work will not be ending with the opening of this Patreon.
- Everything will still be posted eventually.
- There will be a nifty little Discord benefit, too.
This is my maiden voyage and I'll try to tweak it so that it works out for myself and anyone that's willing to support my work in any capacity.
Here's the link again, just in case: https://www.patreon.com/k_libra
Thanks for reading, all. (I'm already working on my first piece for early access there. You'll be able to catch a preview of it on my Patreon)

Commissions Full (Finally)
Posted 3 years agoIt took a long time to get back to work and also choose the last client. It's finally done.
I hope that people who still wanted a place will look out for when I accept more clients. Thank you all, once again.

Back to Artwork.
Posted 3 years agoThanks to all for the comments and support in the last journal entry. It's good to know that people understand the importance of keeping in good health for artwork.
I'm going to try and get back to art at a reduced capacity or, at the very least, a slower pace. It's important that I do recover eventually and not slip back into the condition I was before. I would like to take more time off, but I would not only want to meet commission obligations and of course my personal interests.
Again, thank you all.

Recent Inactivity and physiotherapy.
Posted 3 years agoMy hand has developed a lot of injuries over the years from compensating for nerve problems in my neck. This has made drawing painful. Having started physiotherapy for my hand has made it clear that the problems are more serious than I thought. So, part of why I haven't worked on things or replied very much to commission inquiries has to do with me trying to lay off my hand as much as I can.
That's the short version of what's going on with me. Figured people would appreciate knowing that as I try to balance recovery and work.

Created Gallery Folders
Posted 4 years agoIt's been about, what, nine years since I opened an account here and with over 800 submissions I figured a little bit of organization would be healthy. Healthy at least to easily re-visit types of content and ideas that pop up every now and again. It's for me, but also could be for others who may want to see stuff relative to something they'd like.
I've made folders for:
- K-Suits (and maybe anything else related to K-Suit tech):
https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....832086/K-Suits
- Tech and Biomech Experiments (stuff I'd like to revisit and make more of anyway):
https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....ch-Experiments
- Pages of the Scholar's Studies (Alessa's fleshcraft and individual studies of transformation subjects):
https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....holars-Studies
- Stories and Written Stuff (I wanna write things sometimes and I'd like it to be easily accessed):
https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....-Written-Stuff
Anyway, thanks for reading. See ya on stream, notes, comments, wherever else contact's made.
*Edit: Added "Frogs folder" (Frog people, frog transformation, frog people transformation): https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....r/940085/Frogs
