Posted 10 years agoYup, another year around the sun=3 Guess I should live the last couple of years of my twenties to the fullest before I get into (gasp!) Greymuzzle territory D:
But it's been a fun birthday so far. Things have been sorta crazy, since we've been shifting our birthdays towards the weekend, so everyone can be here, so we're trying to figure out what we can do today, and what we need to save for Friday^^; Ah well, far be it from me to complain about stretching a celebration :D

smellysam enjoyed the possibility of the skunk tf pic I did a while back so much, that he wrote a story following up on the direct aftermath of the change:
The Perks of Being A Stinker
In it, Ken is guided by a friendly skunk named Zillion to the world of the stinkers, where they thrive on odor and pollution:D He shows him the ropes and perks of being a skunk, and gets into a few misadventures along the way.
It's a wonderful little story, and it really makes me think about the possibility of including a population of "pure" anthros in the Representative Transformation universe.
Definitely check this guy's work out!

Fursona Meme: Two for the Price of One!
Posted 11 years agoDecided to take a crack at this myself. The nice thing, is that I think I actually started to map out a back story and bio for Madison thanks to this meme:)
What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
Well, my wolf fursona is a pretty standard. Most of the first drawings I've done were of random werewolf tf sequences. Honestly for the first couple of years in the tf community, I operated without any sorta avatar. It wasn't until I started getting into the fur community, that I started to get pressured into adopting a name and fursona of my own, so I decided to go with a wolf, and go by John Wolf-Boy, as a bit of an homage to Wolf-Max. The first guy to really get me into the whole fandom.
Madison is a bit more traditional, though. I honestly identify more with rats than wolves, and so I figured he'd be a perfect alternate for me to use=3 It's honestly why I'm a bit more comfortable with using him.
Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
My wolf fursona is basically a straight avatar of me. It's why I use him for biographical comics and such.
Madison, as you probably could've guessed, serves as a fursona for the more id-based side of myself. So he gets to really sink his teeth into some more down and dirty situations, mostly serving as the ring leader behind whatever various shape shifting schemes he can conjure up.
Honestly, the main quality Madison has that I'd like to adopt in my real life, is his more bold and outgoing personality. He's not afraid to take chances, and climb into new adventures. It's something I'd like to have more of, honestly.
Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
Like I said my wolf side is basically me. Madison however, is what happens if my pervy side took over, was turned up to 11, and made into a highly assertive individual with little to no inhibitions.
Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
Sure, definitely with the wolf. Heck, maybe I should just take the wolf off the table, since he's pretty much me with fur.. If anything, he might be a bit more timid than I am with less of a penchant for no limit adventure.
Madison is more social, if you can tell=P He's more of a chemistry and engineering nut than I am, and is deeply fixated on biology. He almost sees his little escapades as an art, and takes great joy in seeing where his experiments can go. He's constantly trying to top himself with each little project, and sometimes plays around with the lingering effects. Like say, if he's just tfing someone into a sort of one off quickie, he usually lets the effects wear off in a few minutes. If he's particularly proud of a certain project, though, he'll let the newly morphed person stay in their new form for up to a week, so he can really enjoy the fruits of his labor. Of course he takes special care of each of his subjects, making sure their minds and personalities adjust to their new configurations, so they won't be freaking out the whole time. He might be constantly bending the rules, but even he tends to have limits.
Does your fursona look like you at all?
My wolf does, definitely. It's sort of why I tend to tinker with him a lot. Usually he tends to look different each time I draw him, depending on my hair or my weight, etc. In high school, he was a bit of a dress up doll acquiring attributes that I wish I had, but since then, he's sorta fallen into a personal avatar.
Madison on the other hand, I won't lie. Madison's pretty much the embodiment of what I find physically attractive in a person/furry character. Of course, the choice to make him a rat, has a lot more personal identity attached to it.
Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
Yup, both dudes=3
Do you have more then one main fursona?
Sorta. Heh, since they're two sides of the same coin, I'd sorta say it's like a fursona and a half. I might tinker a bit more with how Madison or John's personalities might seep into the other's psyche, since there's definitely some core fusion there.
Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
I'm slowly building that for Madison. I'm trying to think up a decent enough origin story for when he came into fruition, whether it was since birth, or puberty, or possibly when he went off on his own to college for the first time. He's either completely connected to the primal side of his brain, or with the latter, Madison served as a stepping stone to help John assert his independence. Bit by bit, Madison has helped John come out of his shell and be more assertive, but unfortunately he's a completely uncontrolled, so John has to step in to keep him out of trouble. As you can probably guess, it was a tad handy at first to have Madison help thrust him into situations and circles he never would have the nerve to approach before, but he's become more of a liability with each switch to the other side. Since Madison's been growing more and more used to the bouts of independence, he continues to push over his own limits, so it's up to John to help curb the vices of the rat.
Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
Nah, my wolf has been a couple of times, but not currently.
And Madison is more the swinging bachelor given his personality. But it might be a neat story to do sometime, to have him fall for someone. It'd be a huge struggle for him to deal with romantic feelings, since he's so lust-based, so any feelings of affection, would cause the wolf to show through, and he'd have to struggle with his identity.
Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
Well, the ability to transform into a completely different species is a neat trick, I suppose=3
Do you have much art of your main fursona/s?
That's sorta tricky to answer. I seriously draw and get a lot more art of my alternate fursona than my actual wolf character.
Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
Nah, he's a good reflection of who I am, and I have a lot of personal ties in with both of them. Plus they're just so darn fun to draw, even after all these years, that I'll definitely keep them around.
If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?
Nah, but I'm hoping to buy a suit of Madison this year, if I have enough. I might even just settle for the head for now, since I'd just be getting a partial anyway.
Have you ever roleplayed with your main fursona, or do you prefer not to?

Heh, sort of a tough one to answer. I'm pretty tolerant toward even the highest levels of awkward activities. Just don't do anything that'll send us fleeing from the feds. I didn't pack my running shoes.
