UPDATE! Current queue and future fursuit commissions ~★
Posted 9 years agoHi all! I figured I was overdue for a post about my current workload and future commission opportunities! At the moment I'm working on finishing up all the paw commissions that were taken several months back, trying to get them all wrapped up. I'll have them done by the start of September, then I'll be moving on to finish up the head & partial projects that are in-process. Unfortunately, I will NOT be accepting any more fursuit or fursuit part commissions until my current workload is cleared. Current projects have taken much longer than I originally estimated, and I'm not comfortable taking on more work until I can get those finished up. It turns out that I don't do well with multitasking projects - I'm kind of a perfectionist an incredibly meticulous worker, so even having more than a couple things on my plate at once can get overwhelming. Shifting gears and jumping between projects is also very hard for me, because I lose my focus easily when it's interrupted, and I seem to do much, MUCH better when I can monotask and hyperfocus on a single big project at a time. I'm still trying to figure out how to structure future commissions around this - I'll probably only be accepting future fursuit commissions one-at-a-time, and will possibly try auctioning a single commission slot once I've reopened.
Also, I will NOT be reopening commissions immediately once my current queue is cleared, since I have several personal projects to finish first. I'll be working on some new paw patterns, as well as revising my existing footpaw pattern (not to change the shape, but to make their construction a bit easier and more streamlined, so that I can have faster turnaround - and possibly eliminate zippers, since those are no fun to install, haha). I'll also be working on a new FULL digitigrade/padded fursuit that will be available for sale, so that I can finally start offering bodysuits!
Oh, I'll also be looking around for a new apartment and then moving from September thru October, so I don't know how much that'll slow me down, too. :E I'm sorry that I can't give better time estimation for when things will reopen, I'm doing my best to improve turnaround times and make commissions more streamlined for everyone! In the meantime, I'll probably offer a handful of ready-to-ship parts like paws and such occasionally, either for auction or in my Etsy, until I'm ready to take on more commissions. Rubber stamp commissions will still be available in batches, since those are much smaller projects that I work on in my downtime anyway. c:

First off, this batch of custom paws will not have set completion times. If you need paws by a certain date or convention, this might not be your best option! I am still working on other fursuit head & partial commissions, and will be working on custom paws on the side, so turnaround can be anywhere from 3-6 months from now. Wait will be longer to ensure that EVERY custom recieves a high level of attention and finishing work.
Rough pricing breakdowns are as follows - for accurate pricing, please message me with a description or concept art!
Hand paws - $150
~ 4 or 5 digit available : 5 DIGIT EXAMPLE, 4 DIGIT EXAMPLE
~ includes paw pads (may be omitted at client's request)
~ includes 6" cuff
$20 for fabric claws (vinyl is standard)
$20 per extra fur color
$20 extra long, elbow-length cuffs
[$20/hr] small & complex markings (stripes, spots, small designs)
Feet paws - $250
~ "indoor" style only - soft liner with polyfil stuffing, zipper in back - EXAMPLE

- I will be opening for more fursuit quotes & commissions roughly 3-4 months from now, so if neither payment plan works out for you now, you can save up for that commission opportunity instead! :D

Yay new work studio! Sockpaws, tails, & commission news!
Posted 10 years ago► ► ►This last month kind of DRAGGED work-wise, but that's because I was busy moving into a new apartment! It's a HUGE upgrade space-wise, I've moved from working while crammed into my single studio apartment to a two-bedroom where an entire room is devoted to sewing and art and fursuit work. :D SO EXCITING! This also means I now finally have ample space to start work on bodysuits and big tails and other larger sewing projects, hooray!
As a slight downside, my computer bricked in the process of moving, so that's been a setback. I was able to extract my hard drive a couple days ago, and thankfully all my data is still intact, so that's a relief. It's still made online work updates & anything photoshop-reliant (so most sewing pattern drafting) either really slow or near-impossible. Hopefully I'll get a new computer up and running soon, but it'll probably be a couple months before I can save enough, so sorry for any work delays that may bring.
Sockpaws are now finished and will be available shortly! I finally finished fussing with the pattern I was working on, so I just need to get nice pics of the finished sample pair and commission info and prices up. They are SO comfy and I'm really proud of their construction - durable and machine washable!
My schedule's a still little all over the place otherwise, but fursuit partial commissions are still set to open this January. I'll be busy working on getting all of that prepared, and I'll have more info posted in the coming weeks! Save the date, I'm excited to work on bringing some cool critters to life. :D

DISCOUNT custom tail commissions! Be the first, save $$!
Posted 10 years agoI'm starting work on custom costume tail commissions, and am looking for some people willing to be my starters so I can get some patterns drafted!
A special feature of these tails will be a belt clip attachment built into the base, instead of the usual elastic straps seen in fursuit tails. These clips are -strong- and sturdy, and allow easier on-and-off if you want to remove your tail quickly without having to undo your entire belt, while still keeping the tail fixed in place. (if you'd prefer elastic loops, though, I won't stop you. ;) just ask!)
I pride myself on sturdy, sculptural work, so even simple canine and feline tails will have nice curved and shaped construction! If you'd like to see more photos of my work & sewing quality on other projects, you can peek at my work twitter. c:
These tails will be pried FLAT RATE - prices won't fluctuate based on patterns / fur cost (if I accept your design!), and may include up to THREE fur pattern colors (only accepting relatively simple patterns. No tiny intricate markings or mega-stripes-or-spots, sorry!). I am only accepting simple MAMMAL tails at the moment - IE felines, canines, carnivores, etc. - just to rule out very sculptural dragon, shark, etc. style tails for the time being.

The flat rate payment is required upfront to cover material and work costs, and tails will be completed in 4-8 weeks (which accounts for pattern drafting and shipping times to order fur).

A special feature of these tails will be a belt clip attachment built into the base, instead of the usual elastic straps seen in fursuit tails. These clips are -strong- and sturdy, and allow easier on-and-off if you want to remove your tail quickly without having to undo your entire belt, while still keeping the tail fixed in place. (if you'd prefer elastic loops, though, I won't stop you. ;) just ask!)

These tails will be pried FLAT RATE - prices won't fluctuate based on patterns / fur cost (if I accept your design!), and may include up to THREE fur pattern colors (only accepting relatively simple patterns. No tiny intricate markings or mega-stripes-or-spots, sorry!). I am only accepting simple MAMMAL tails at the moment - IE felines, canines, carnivores, etc. - just to rule out very sculptural dragon, shark, etc. style tails for the time being.

Large tails (mid-calf to ankle length) :: flat rate is $75 (future tails will cost $90 )
Medium tails (knee to calf length) :: flat rate is $50 (future tails will cost $60 )
Small tails (mid-thigh) :: flat rate is $40 (future tails will cost $50 )
Mini tails (IE deer or rabbit) :: flat rate is $30 (future tails will cost $40 )
