I will be checking out Chicago early on Wed night and Thurs afternoon, then be at the con for the rest of Thurs through to Sunday and leaving for home Monday morning.

My New Album - Please Check It Out!
Posted 7 years agoMy co-conspirator MJ and I have completed a brand new acoustic EP under the name Incognito Baby. This EP features a trippy intro, 5 original songs of ours and a cover from one of my favourite artists. We worked our ass off (in a single night's recording session) to bring you this fun little demo and I hope you all get a kick out of it.

Also the album artwork is nearing completion and will be up with the album in a few days. It is a stunning traditional piece done by lobadelaluna and it will really complete the whole project.

My arm is a little... broken
Posted 7 years agoSo long story short I was doing a task that involved something much heavier than my paw. Sadly said object ending up dropping and putting all of its weight on my wrist. I now have a fracture that will keep me out of work for a little. I will still be online and can type with a little bit of effort, so the stories should continue just fine, but I apologize if unforeseen slowdowns occur.

Damn time flies!
Posted 8 years agoSo I'm back from my honeymoon and it was incredible. Seriously, not only was the show so monumental and life changing, but the crowd around the events was like a big fur con almost. I actually got really depressed leaving the atmosphere.
Now that I'm home I've realized... it's my birthday in 4 days! When the hell did that happen?
On April 12 I will be 27, that's so crazzzzy!

Posted 8 years agoGood afternoon fuzzbutts, it has now been a week since Furnal Equinox has been done and I now have a day off to get this post con report done. As always I did far too much to really detail it day by day, so instead I’m going to list off the people who I got to see and share a moment I had with each of them.
First off thank you to my husband welnis and my roommates 
amixeduppuppy and 
terminalfox for making the con fun as always, it was great to have another con where we just brought our house over to a hotel room for a weekend. Welnis kicked ass as head of con ops and Pup killed it in the dealer’s room with assistance from his mate.
The rest I’ll put in alphabetical order, now because I got to hang with so many, I’ll likely forget to put someone’s name, it is not because our moment wasn’t memorable, it’s just there are so many moments it’s hard to recall them all on the spot, so just remind me if your name was somehow missed.
amazonianashe It was amazing to see you in person again, I know you don’t live that far, but I really wish you lived closer. I’m so happy you’re dealing went well and I look forward to the next hangout. Also your mate was awesome! :D

kevon I forgot how much I loved you! There were a few low points on the Friday of the con, that day was really 50/50 for me, but you were there the whole time to just come perk me up with silliness. Our ‘coffees’ in the pool was a con highlight. Don’t be a stranger, we’d love to have you come visit sometime!”
lethias Been a while but so good to reconnect. You were one of the first furries I knew so getting to hang with you Friday night for a bit again was so awesome.

New Youtube Channel - Maximum Fun!
Posted 8 years agoI have started a YouTube channel that will be full of all sorts of silliness, starting with my first ever let's play episode of Overwatch.

I'd like to think I'm entertaining for the rest of the video, stream seemed to think it was fun. If you like it I WILL be doing more. Plus maybe some multiplayer Pokemon Stadium, Superman 64, all kinds of silly junk.
Now if you do like this kinda stuff, it does cost $10 a month to have a premium piczel that will record my streams, so if I could even get 10 people to donate $1 or $2 a month I could make sure these episodes were weekly or maybe even twice a week. Would even allow those who donate to choose things for me to do, play, say, all kinds of junk. Still working this out.

Eating Words and Losing Shifts
Posted 8 years agoSo first off, completely eating most of my words on Overwatch. I kick major ass with D Va. Constantly get Team Kills and Kill of the Game with her, I often get votes from team mates, and generally just go on long 10 player kill streaks and gain objectives. Including gaining an objective without my bunny suit and killing a turret Bastion WITHOUT the suit. I really love her mechanics, simple shooting, wide range, unlimited ammo, jet pack and self destruct. I also am getting pretty good with Symmetra, not nearly as good, but to the point I can get kill streaks and defend objectives. I've sort of gotten used to those being my two characters depending on whether my mission is Attack or Defend.
I tend to suck ass with every other character so far. Wish I wasn't such garbage at it, but hey. Being good with one and amazing with another is better than zero. And I'm sure at one point I'll get bored and muck around in training mode. I've realized I hated World of Warcraft Diablo 3 on first play then fell in love with them later. It seems to me Blizzard has shitty first impressions with me but after time really grows on me.
On non gaming news, I lost a fuck load of hours. I've gone from 30 hours a week on average to 23. It's pretty awful, but my commissions are really helping me out and I'm hoping my new comic group will bring success, as usual we're working away to bring you our full line up in a few weeks.
Downside of the week, I've lost access to a couple of my FA accounts. Only a big deal because of certain commissioners, but still, it sucks, I hope they email me back soon. I also made a Furry Network account [StrangeBreed] for those interested.

Fantastic News and Lame News (A Reflection of Dreams)
Posted 9 years agoSo the incredible news is as of this Wednesday I will have my first published in stores comic book piece. It's part of a single issue anthology that is projected to need a reprinting already within in the month! I'm also invited to a local art gallery for their showing of the comic. It's really overwhelming and amazing, like my writing dreams are slowly coming true.
The lame news?
I'm not getting paid a cent. I mean I did the work for free, knowing this and was not upset in the least, but it's the thought of my dream. How the hell does one be successful in writing and expect to actually make money XD My day job is kind of lame, I have no passion for it and I adore my art, but I just don't know how to ever make ends meet. Hell even with my current job I may need to increase my credit limit just to make rent.
Commissions DO help, like tremendously, and I have caught up on a few and have got a few more to try and help me afford this month. If anyone does want more please don't hesitate to message me.
Also the important part. If anyone wants a copy of my issue, please message me and I can get you one. They're about $5 Maybe a couple more depending on shipping costs, and I can sign it too if you so desire.

Posted 9 years agoIt happened, I have reached another year on this planet. Looking forward to getting beyond wasted after my night's rest so that should be fun. Gonna be a good year, finally getting married in October so definitely an age to remember.

Posted 9 years agoHoly shit how did that happen? In 12 days (April 12) it will once again be my birthday and I'm getting ever closer to 30. It feels like the time has just sped past me. There has been so many good and bad moments these last 25 years and I've learned so much. The last ten have been the most important to me however. I found the furry fandom, I met my fiancé welnis who will be my husband as of October 1st. I got serious about writing and am still figuring out how to do my best at it, and I got deeper into a fandom that really brings an extra sort of clarity to my life.
Now on side news (no I swear to god, this is NOT and April Fool's) My entire basement has flooded. So if I owe you commissions and I'm going slow I really apologize. I just saw David Gilmour (of Pink Floyd if you don't know) and while I was away I received word that this shit had gone down. So with getting the house in order there may be some delays from me, but that will not stop me from working away.
So yeah, that's all there is to report for now. Leave me a message two Tuesdays from now if you'd like :)

Furnal Equinox Post Con Report
Posted 9 years agoNOTE: This may be edited a lot to add people I’ve forgotten or names I didn’t have yet, there were so many people I shared this wonderful weekend with so it’s hard to gather all the memories in one go at this time. If I did forget let me know, because it was not intentional and I can assure you, your moment with me was memorable! Also some details are omitted because they’re just too private ;)
I don’t even know where to start, this con was just so wonderful it was more than hard to tear myself away from it at the end. I learned a lot about my inner thoughts through conversations I had all three days of the con and I feel as though I know what I need to do next. As far as the con goes I’ll do my absolute best to summarize.
Thursday:
Welnis amixeduppuppy Uzanti and I departed around 3pm for the con hotel. After checking in we met up with terminalfox as well as 
foz and 
giztehcookiefox all the way from the UK. It was a pleasure to meet them. We then met up with mazeryena and 
bowser525 and all went for dinner at Montana’s, it was St. Pattie’s so we all had green beer. We then sort of just chilled and the room and shared a few drinks before bed.
Friday:
The first four hours of the con admittedly sucked. We were dumb enough to forget to pre-reg and had to spend two hours in line waiting for our badge. Then mixedupup and myself had to set up for the art show, and then I did a food run that took way longer than it should have. I at least got a few sketches from the dealer’s room before it closed which was a lucky consolation. After all the sucky stuff had settled I met up with
Branwyn and his mate/friends and had a nice long conversation involving music, politics and another range of very interesting topics. They had to go for dinner soon after but was very happy we managed to meet up.
I then headed over to Pocket and Giz’s room for some Drinking card games and pizza, which was all quite awesome. Met up with HellDoradoLion and
KeyLimeYogurt 
loomer and his roommate finally! As soon as my mate was rested up from his busy shift (being staff and all) we went back to our room and threw probably the biggest party of the weekend. The room was packed! Among some people I got to see for the first time that weekend were Netrogo his awesome wife who's fur name isn't on me right now, 
cooper Martini and 
Treznor1138 as well as many others I’m sure my silly brain is absent of after all those late nights. We really partied hard and I’m surprised I managed to awake the next morning xD
Saturday:
Day started as Canadian as possible with a Timmie’s run and then it was back to the con to check on my art show pieces. I met two rather lovely ladies in the art show room who’s fursona names I don’t have on me and don’t wish to use their real names without permission, but was very happy to hang on and off with them the three afternoons. I also had the pleasure of using the guest stool at LilMissBunBun and TheRainbowTroll 's table, managing to get some sketchbook art from both and talk a lot with Rainbow and kougerai Shout out to ElunaOdis who I got to talk with as well.
Saw the fursuit parade from the dealer’s room and much to my surprise managed to hang at the table nearly until the room closed. It was amazing just how incredibly fast hanging with those four made the day go by! Also got to briefly meet saucy and buy some prints and charms, was happy I got to stop by ^^ My group then went for a huge dinner at Jack Astor’s which ended up being quite hilarious and our awesome waiter sold us on some really silly mugs he had a hard target to sell.
Next welnis and I visited Brawnwyn’s room party for a while and got some R&R after his long day, then headed back to our room for some hanging. We ended up doing a 2am run to Subway and the whole day just ended with an amazing convo mixeduppup and I had while roaming the con space until 6am!
Sunday:
Immediate headache, no voice, my day is ruined… until suddenly Tim Horton’s! After a brief hour of feeling like crap I got an amazing second wind and returned to the dealer’s room where I spent another full afternoon with the fab four (I’m sooo lame). I got the biggest pleasant surprise when
serenadeds showed up for the afternoon and had lunch with myself and Welnis Was so happy to see her again, it had been far too long! I also got to talk many times with frostscar which was amazing, I have really missed being around him, he is a very long time and dear friend.
After the con was done we all went swimming and just relished on the joy of such a beautiful weekend we had all had. We then ended the night with a room party that was surprisingly double the size of our party on Saturday night. It all ended around 2am so the boys could get some sleep and a new found friend of mine (still needing to find the fur name ^^) spent the last two hours of the last con day just talking about life and our different experiences. It was her first fur con and she felt such a strong mix of emotions from seeing what conventions can do to one’s heart.
After that it was bed, wake up, shower and a drive home to a week of Pocket and Giz visiting our little home. I was a wreck last night with a lot of post con feels, but I think after a shift or two of work, I’ll get back into the routine of being a boring human again *sigh*

I’ll be attending as always with welnis amixeduppuppy and terminalfox We’ll have the room set up for parties aplenty and likely also be checking what crazy parties we can see and what trouble we can get into.
My plan from Thursday-Sunday is to see as many of you as possible, party as much as I can, get more sketches in my sketchbook and explore some new aspects of this fandom like I do every year.
I already know I’m gonna get to see HellDoradoLion and Treznor1138 again which I’m super excited about, as well as get to hang with beastpaws and faulkyn whom I’ve recently got to meet, super cool people!

Nine Years
Posted 9 years agoThe tiger continued to flip through various pictures on the net that were all quite risqué, very badly drawn and a tad too funny. He let out his usual infectious laughter as he said some of the all too awful lines on the comic pages aloud, his giggles only increasing each time. On the bed next to him a cheetah and skunk lay together curled up, cuddling in a friendly manner as they enjoyed each other’s company. “That’d be such an awkward way to kiss!” the cheetah said with a laugh at a particular page, the other feline joining in with his chuckle.
“I wouldn’t really know,” the skunk said as he brought up his own personal factor, “I’ve never kissed anyone before.”
“Never?” the cheetah asked curiously, confirming whether the skunk was just goofing off again or not.
The skunk shook his head, “Nope, never.”
The tiger had taken a break from looking through all his silly images, now placing his attention on the two younger furs, “You two should totally kiss right now.”
The skunk let out a sound that was low and only somewhat audible, like a little uncomfortable meep. “I’d be ok with that…” the cheetah said as he looked down at the skunk, the black and white critter looking up at the handsome feline with a heavy blush.
“C’mon kiss!” the tiger laughed as he attempted to be a further instigator.
“O-ok” the skunk stuttered as he leaned closer, unsure of how to proceed. Lucky for him the cheetah took the reins and lock their lips together, muzzles pressed firmly as the skunk felt the first tender moment of romance he had ever felt.

Nine Years, that’s a lot of time, that’s a lot of experiences, rights, wrongs, good times, bad times. I still remember the first time I went to his house. I even remember what we ate, chicken, I remember this because he swore about it and his dad wanted to smack him. I remember the first time I saw him again after a one year break, I remember that kitchen, that second kiss, I remember all of it. I can say firmly that when this life is over, I’ll remember the worst times with him much more firmly than the best times without him.

So I’ll likely do a skype call Saturday the 11th afternoon or sometime before/after that. Not any real point in this journal otherwise just crazy to note I’ve hit my mid-twenties :O
My Opinion on the whole IMVU thing

My presence on FA is very much that of Furry Facebook. I'm only here to stay connected with friends, most of my work is given more attention and credit on SoFurry and InkBunny and I find the drama there far less palpable. I never bothered making a weasyl because I see it as another FA. FA's not bad, but it's not great, I also highly doubt this IMVU partnership will really changed anything.
My two cents.
