Last year I took part in Movember (www.movember.com) which is a drivve to raise awareness and funding for prostate cancer research. In reference to
dragoneer and his journal about how breast cancer is sort of a big deal, while a lot of other cancers don't get much screen time (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1784975/).
So, for Movember, I'm trying to help change the face of men's health! Last year I personally raised almost $300, and my company raised about $20,000 for the Movembeer campaign! I'd like your help!!
If you'd like to contribute, let me know! Just note me, and I can easily send you the information. If you'd rather not or cannot at this time, can you spread the word for me? I had an idea at the beginning of the month for artists to draw their characters with a mustache for Movember, but it's getting a little late in the month for that (or not? Maybe? Prostate Cancer Awareness! -Please read!

Movember is an effort to change the face of men's health. The idea is that for the month of Movember (the month formerly known as November), We grow a mo' (short for moustache) to raise awareness and funds to help fight prostate cancer! Last year I participated and raised about $270 on my own, but was also part of a team that raised over $15000 for prostate cancer research and awareness.
Now, I'm not an artist, so I don't have many watchers, but my idea (that I was thinking up with
zambuka) that I was we should start a meme where artists start drawing their characters with a big ol' moustache for the month of Movember! If anyone's interested in joining up with Movember, you can do so at the link above, or if you don't want to register yourself, you can send me a private note and support my efforts to change the face of men's health!
