I will retain my watermark logo, but the name itself will be different.
I've been thinking about this for a long time and I think its time to take action.

Computer Update- Yay!
Posted 6 years agoAlright, so I had to update after all.
Either both of the old mobos were dead, or both of the processors, or some combination of fucked up..
Either way, they don't make either of those two things now.
Upgrades happened.
Everything seems to be running perfectly after obtaining a new motherboard and processor, as well as new ram to fit the new motherboard because it needed DDR4.
It can also use those fancy new ssd drives that connect directly to your motherboard. :o May get one at some point. Those seem cool.
Doin a bit of testing and derping around tonight because I spent all day rebuilding, but I'll be back to doing commissions very shortly!
Also, don't worry, I'm still working on those leather badges. :3

We've tried.
Graphics card - Checked and working properly.
Ram - Checked and working properly.
Power Supply - Checked and working properly.
Drives - Checked and working properly.
No grounding issues.
Issue. CPU light is on. Computer not POSTing.

Nothing goes right - Computer issues
Posted 6 years agoCan't seem to get anything to go right for me this week.
Monday resulted in me going to the hospital with a kidney stone that got stuck in the tube going from the kidney to the bladder. I'm fine now, but hurt like hell.
Today I was trying to work on commissions and suddenly my comp stopped working. I believe it was my graphics card that took a shit on me. So until I can get that fixed, I have to use my laptop. It couldn't possibly handle my work files. They're too large.
I'll see if I can have someone help me figure this out, and hopefully get it fixed as soon as possible. >_<
If it was my graphics card, I'm going to try to see if it's still under product protection plan , because I've not had it that long.
I won't be able to get any work done till it gets fixed. I'm seriously hoping that's the only thing that is causing the issue.

Poster Sizes.
Posted 6 years agoAlright. I've gotten many comments on this in the past. My sizes were hard to have printed and find frames for, which I can totally agree with.
They weren't the best, and I'm not entirely sure why I chose those sizes to start with, but there they were.
I've been testing my computer recently to see exactly what it could handle, and what it cannot. I know that it can't possibly handle the largest sizes of posters, but it can go up to a decent size with a bit of effort. s
Soo... I've decided that I will change my sizes for large commissions to standard poster sizes. 8.5 x11 through 18x24 inches. These will still be at 300 DPI. Should be much easier to find printers and frames for these sizes guys, so you no longer have to go searching high and low for crazily sized frames.
This also means that prices will change to match said sizes and difficulty with creating artwork for those sizes.
I found with the last two large commissions that I'd severely underestimated work time for them. x_X
Anyhow, they're a great learning experience, and I feel much better prepared for future work.

So I've been doing a lot of thinking, and a friend of mine brought it up recently that it might be a bad business venture to have two separate accounts for general and adult art.
It was created when FA had no easy separation of the two.
I was wondering what everyone else thought about the matter.
Should I post all of my adult artwork on this account and just get rid of the second account?
Or should I leave them separate?
I know there are people who don't wish to view the adult stuff, which is fine. After all, that is why FA installed the SFW button.
Still on the fence about it though.
Want to know you guys' thoughts.

Posted 6 years agoI keep trying to talk some sense into dad, but it just isn't going to work. He gets severely pissed off at me every time I even mention it.
He still thinks people are conspiring against him to steal his money. He still doesn't believe radon is anything to worry about at all.
I have to move. I have to get the fuck out of here and be on my way... but I have nowhere to go.
Can't get a job, can't try for disability because I'd lose my healthcare. If I lose my healthcare I lose months of progress in a program that will better my life if I complete it.
If I do complete it, it will take months to recover from the surgery at the end of the process. Gastric sleeve.
Through all of which, I'll have to live here, in this house with the radon issue that I'm not allowed to fix.
I can't vent the place, it'd pull all the heat right out of the house, and then I'd get yelled at more for wasting power.
I'm really in a pit right now, and I can't seem to crawl out of this one and I honestly have no idea what to do.
I can't move in with any friends or rent a room in their place because nobody has the space, and I don't have the income to help with bills and cover vet costs for my dog.
Same would be said for getting an RV or anything else. It costs to rent (rv=land rent), and it costs for utilities, as well as food and internet.
I'm extremely stressed out. For the first time in my entire life, I actually worry about my health. I'm actually trying to better my health so that I can have a future.
Unfortunately, dad isn't. He says he worries about my health, but how is that even possible at this point? There's no damn way he cares if he willfully refuses to see any kind of issue with a poisonous, radioactive gas leaking up through the floor.

Dad is absolutely refusing to get anything fixed. I've put everything on hold. I don't know wtf his issue is. He's pissed off at me for trying to get things fixed.
Alright. I've set up the gofundme for radon remediation as many people had suggested.
Our house is a complicated fix thanks to the strange layout, and partly finished basement.
There are complication costs and they will need to rip out some drywall in my living area ceiling to run the pipe through to the outside.. That will also have to be fixed. x_X

Posted 7 years agoAlright, so we've set up an appointment with a remediation company. I will check to see if they're certified when the people get here on Thursday.
If they are, we'll get a price quote for the remediation of high levels of Radon.
Once I get the quote, I'll set up a donation page. I know neither me, nor my father can afford to get it done. Hopefully it won't require too much money.

I live with my father.
None of us have ever been healthy in this house. Pets have died from various cancers and diseases. My dog has cancer. My mom died of cancer in December.
Radon causes cancer. So I did a test and sent it in to the lab.
Our radon report came in.
4 Pci is the danger zone where you have to get your house fixed. IE- vented out. We can't afford to do that and still have heat.
We're over double that. 11.3 Pci.
We have no money to move either.
I don't know what to do.
I live with my father.

Posted 7 years agoMom was supposed to come home today with hospice. She was too weak for further treatment for her cancer.
Dad had gone up to sign the papers to be able to have her transferred to the house, and I was waiting on a phone call from hospice to let me know they were going to deliver her bed and other home care equipment.
Unfortunately that isn't the call I got.
Mom passed away this morning in her sleep. Dad was with her when she went.
They told me that it was very peaceful, and that she was not feeling any pain.
I may be out of it for a few days, but I will still get any work that needs to be finished, done.
