If it's on my mind, and it needs to be said, I'll say it. No matter how another person might feel, if it needs to be said, it can only be worse if it isn't said.
Don't let people put up with their own crap, I say.
To me, it's a problem of logic. People don't use logic, since their too busy trying to be PC. We're in a society that fears negative emotions, deifies love, and shuns truth. If you can lie, it's expected. Making sure people are happy overrides doing the right thing, the morally just thing. And don't tell me it's okay to life just so somebody doesn't get hurt.
The fact is people will get hurt, one way or another. If you let them pretend that everything is okay though, than the hurt is compounded. It's complete foolishness to assume that a lie can prevent hurt. All it does is add more hurt when the lie is revealed.
