Commissions ToS (Summer 2015)
Posted 9 years agoIn contacting me, commissioners agree to all Terms of Service conditions below. Commissioners also pledge they are at least 18 years of age. If any of the below terms are not followed, or if contacted by an underage client, all commissions processes with that person will cease immediately.
To order a commission:
• If interested in a commission send me an email at damienyfel at yahoo dot com. Please include in your email where you found my artwork. Sending me an ask, fan mail, or note for your initial inquiry is also acceptable, but communications will be shifted to email after that.
• Clients should provide reference images for the commission during this point of the inquiry.
• After we've discussed all the details, I'll provide you with a price quote as well as an estimated time of delivery.
Commission Process:
• In general, sketches take three days, line arts take five, and colored images can take anywhere from a 1-2 weeks.
• Payment will be accepted only through Paypal in USD. Please do not send funds until prompted. My business email is not the same as my Paypal e-mail. Likely, I will send you a request of funds form through Paypal.
• Once payment has been paid in full, work will begin on your commission.
• Complex character designs may incur an additional fee. Such complex features include: scales, detailed armor, wings, intricate markings (tattoos, stripes, feathers)
• If requested, I will happily send you watermarked WIPs at each step of the commission progress (sketch, lines, flats, and final product).
• Upon completion, an unwater-marked, full-size png of your commission will be sent to you via email.
NOTES:
Reference Images- Clear, concise reference images must be included for all characters involved. If any images are out of date or inaccurate in any other way, please specify how. (What is not included that should be included? What is different from the reference image?) Accurate reference images and descriptions during the stage of inquiry minimize the need for revisions.
Deadlines- If there is a deadline for when the work must be done you must notify me up-front. If applicable, rush fees may be applied. Rush commissions are given priority over other commissions; otherwise, commissions are completed in order that they are received and paid for.
Revisions- Revisions can easily be made in the sketch phase, as well as MINOR revisions in the lines phase, but after that point, excessive revisions may incur an additional fee. (This does not apply to minor changes in color during the flats stage)
The Artist’s Rights:
• I reserve the right to use work from commissions in future portfolios and galleries for self-promotion. Due credit will be given to creators of an original characters depicted. Commissioners may also remain anonymous, if they so choose.
• I will NOT make future profit from images depicting a client’s original characters.
• I retain the right to refuse any commission request or cancel in-progress commissions at any time. A percentage of a refund may be given for incomplete commissions. For example, if an emergency occurs and I am unable to finish your commission, a refund of the unfinished portion of the commission may be issued to the commissioner.
The Commissioner’s Rights:
• The commissioner may use their commission for personal use ONLY. The commissioner may not use the work for personal gain or claim the commission as their own work
• Commissioners retain all rights to their characters and will not be claimed as my own.
• Commissioners may not post their commission without due credit being given to me.
• The commissioner has the right to request their commission not appear in any of my portfolios or galleries. If this is the case, they must mention this up-front at the time of the inquiry for the commission. It is likely a fee will apply, because this prevents me from promoting a piece of my artwork.
• Under no circumstances may commissioners make edits of any kind to my work. This includes, but is not limited to the removal of my signature or watermarks.

Furries/anthros

Austin or Bust! Big News!
Posted 9 years agoAustin or Bust is a campaign I'm beginning to raise some funds for a trip to Austin, TX this Summer to visit my very best friend. The ticket has already been purchased so at this point I'm just looking to raise spending money, but I can make back what I spent on the ticket, that'd be great too.
Expect a lot of activity from me over the next two months. There will be many journals, many slots for artwork at reasonable prices, a few YCHs, and a few adoptables as well. I'm also going to be revisiting some old artwork and giving them some revision, particularly two of my most popular gallery pieces. I'll be posting a revised price sheet and ToS within the hour.
This is an early heads-up: When my prices go up, the first person to snag a commission in the Bust or Full Body category will receive half off their piece. (Ex: A normal $10 bust sketch for $5)
Your support is very much appreciated. Comments, likes, signal boosts/promotions are all very helpful if you cannot purchase a commission. Thank you.

Free drawings + update.
Posted 10 years agoThe new semester just started today and it looks like I'm going to have a lot of free time today. So, I'll take a few drawing request slots. They'll be uploaded as soon as I get home from class. More than likely they'll be cartoonish style doodles.
For a slot, comment below with a reference of your character (mark if they're nsfw). I'd like to draw more anthro or feral characters this time around and will be more partial to pick those requests.
Slot 1:
Slot 2:
Slot 3:
Along with that, I have the rest of the requests from my old journal to upload. With the school starting up again I should be online more often and be uploading submissions more often as well.

Update on Requests+ Commissions
Posted 10 years agoWell, it's been a month since my last journal, and all but two of the requests are finished. Working on the different subject matter that was in the requests was really good practice for me, and I appreciate everyone who posted to the requests journal. I also appreciate my new watchers that I've gained in the process. I hope that you continue to enjoy my work and my gallery.
The last two requests will be finished this weekend. Once that happens, I think I'll open for commissions. Sometime next week I should have a price sheet drawn up as well as a visual price guide pulled together. Be sure to be on the look out for that. It should be exciting!

New Watchers + Requests
Posted 10 years agoFirst off, I want to say hello to all my new watchers. I know a lot of you were attracted by the requests journal (and were directed here by my girlfriend gillbear). Thanks for the watches and I hope to produce art that you'll enjoy.
Next off, there was an overwhelming response to the requests journal. I couldn't be happier with the attention it received in just a little over a day. I had to close the journal once I had a nice crop of requests to choose from. The following list is who will be receiving art and of what:
-kazu~:
Raine headshot
-Yukai.Slayde:
headshot
-hatsjer:
2 dragon headshots
-Veck:
Pokemon trainer (Achelo)+ Houndoom
-Kudan7:
Nommy, Tailmouth looming over food
-LittleRedLoli:
Vexious running for the beach
-Somi:
Charles, eating a lolipop with an O-face
Pudge, chowing down
Marbles, facing a spider
-NorseFurry:
Monster, fishing
If you're not listed above, don't get discouraged. It's likely I'll be drawing more head shots than what's listed and might pick more things from the requests journal once I finish with this list. I'll also be opening up for commissions soon. If you are listed above, be on the lookout for your art in the coming days. This list won't be done in order, but I'll post every piece as soon as it's finished!

Requests Open
Posted 10 years agoIt's that time again where I need to refresh and add more content to my gallery. So, I'm opening up for a few requests.
A few head shots/busts
1x Full-body/pin-up
1x couple
1x chibi
Here's how you get a chance to get in on the action:
1) Drop a comment here with a reference of the character(s) you would like to have drawn. Anthro/furry, feral, human, and monsters are all ok. NSFW references are ok (if marked as such) but requests will be SFW.
2) You can submit more than one character to have drawn (up to 3), but please, no more than 2 references per character.
3) When you give me a request, I would appreciate being given a prompt. A prompt can be a pose, action, expression, or other general direction to go in. Saying, "Do whatever" will probably get you overlooked from the start.
That's about it. This is not "first come, first serve" but rather I'm looking for interesting characters and prompts. Post your references and good luck.

*Casually dusts off this account*
Posted 10 years agoOh, look, hey. I'm not dead. *casually dusts off account* It seems like when school is in session, I go on hiatus. But now that it's summer, I have an abundance of time on my hands to draw and socialize. Alright! Look out for submissions being posted this week. Also, I'll probably open up commissions in the very near future.
$100 Dolla Bill Y'all! + Update
Posted 11 years agoSo, this raffle is going on over here for a hundred dollars. How cool is that? It ends tomorrow so go enter while you can! http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5101472/
So I haven't been online much. School has been kicking my ass. Taking an accelerated English class was not one of my best ideas. I just finished with it though, only to start another on Monday. I just finished a 10 page essay this morning and I'm looking forward to doing things this weekend that aren't related to school.
I owe an art trade to and that needs to get lined and colored this weekend, so if you happen to see this, I haven't forgotten! Sorry, dude! I'll get that to you ASAP.
Also going on this weekend, \030/ I'm turning 21 on Saturday! I'm kinda anxious about it.

What are your favorite animals? (Taking requests)
Posted 11 years agoFor science, please answer the question. Top five favorite animals. Or top three. Or just one absolute favorite. Because I need some more material in my gallery and I'm gonna be drawing some animals. So fuck yeah! Leave them comments!
I may or may not draw OCs/fursonas as well. But if you have a neat one and you want a shot at having it drawn, go ahead and leave a link for that too!~ I'll prolly pick a couple of those as well.

Cleaning Out the Cobwebs
Posted 11 years agoI don't think I've been active on here for about a year, but I think I'm coming back. Cleaning out stuff and moving things to scraps. Putting things in the gallery too.

Commission ToS (Summer 2012)
Posted 12 years agoTerms of Service for Commissions
I can draw any sort of creature/animal/human you want for a picture. Even if I do not have a direct reference for you in my current gallery.
-These are to be used for personal use only, and may not be used for commercial purposes. Do not resell my work.
-Extra characters are half the price of the original character.
-You are welcome repost art I do for you in your gallery but you must credit me and not claim as your own. Links back to the original submission in my own gallery are encouraged and appreciated.
-You may ask for WIPs of your commission or progress reports on your comission.
-You always have the option of seeing a sketch before I line and color. Just ask me if you want to.
-Please be patient with me. I try my best to get art done in a reasonable time. Turnaround is usually between 2-4 weeks. If you have a deadline that is fine, just state it clearly.
-People who have their requests ready first get first priority, regardless of when you ordered.
-If I send you a sketch and you do not respond I will wait up to 3 weeks at most for a reply. In the final week I will send a final notice. If you still do not respond I will cancel your commission.
- I WILL work off descriptions but reference pictures are very much welcome! When describing your character tell me everything I need to know about them. The more information I have at my disposal, the easier the commission will be and it will be finished faster.
