Personal Update 2022
Posted 2 years agoI'm alive! Although given my lack of participation in the community that's probably debatable. Mostly just wanted to write a note to friends and acquaintances I haven't had a chance to catch up with for the last few years. To give a quick summary: My career continues to go well. Wifey and I had a second child last summer. My game development has stalled out in the wake of family/career, but I've been poking about in my spare time in RPG maker, Unity and Unreal.
That's the jist of my life lately. I still continue to write and have posted some stuff under the pen name Snackers on DD. I hope to eventually write something for publication, although it probably won't be fetish work. Time is at a premium lately, one child seemed like a hobby when you compare it to the amount of work and care that goes into taking care of two young children. Mostly I'm regularly exhausted but very content.
Hope everyone else has been doing well!

Personal Update 2018
Posted 6 years agoHeyo Internet Friends,
I realized two years have gone by since I've posted a personal note. Time just seems to slip by so quickly these days. The biggest change in my life since my last post is that Wifey and I had our first child last summer. Being a parent has really changed everything, it is both exhausting and exhilarating. We have a healthy baby boy who is already crawling around the house, terrorizing the cats, and putting anything he can get his hands on into his mouth. Most of the time he's all smiles and giggles and the best thing in the world; but at night he has a shifting bedtime that ranges from 8-Midnight. We call it his witching hours since he can be a real fuss pot. We've tried all manner of sleep training and pause methods, but never found much success. Since his birth he also hasn't slept completely through the night or longer then 5 hours at one time. Usually he gets up at least once, sometimes twice a night, needing to be fed or just rocked back to sleep. Having broken sleep through the night is not something you really ever get used too, but as the pediatrician and lots of family/friends tell us it won't last forever. Its all worth it, little rugrat is the highlight of my life so far.
Outside of family additions, work is chugging along. My career is going really well and in my tiny bit of spare time I'm still working on my longtime game project Momsterous. I know the popular thing to do is to make a patreon for your hobby projects to help support it but I promised myself a long time ago I wouldn't try to make money off of my fetish hobby and I know for certain I'd never be able to keep to any kind of deadline with my work, especially now that I'm a dad. The game has been ported from RPG Maker VX Ace to RPG Maker MV. The new engine allows for a lot of functionality that the previous didn't, like packaging the game for Mac and Linux or running custom java scripts which have been much easier to work with then the ruby RGSSS that VX Ace used. I don't have a new demo ready yet, but hopefully I'll have one ready before too long.
Aside from game dev, I've been writing and RPing. Some of the RP's I do with my friends end up lasting a year or more and when we finish a story arc we clean the logs and turn them into novels. I've got about 5 such novels that are over 100-pages long and with permission of my partners will start posting some day. I get a lot of PM's about either the Military Punishment and 2 Weeks with Ms. Roo stories, both of which still live on in RP form and the RP has been ongoing for the better part of almost 15 years. The logs are a few hundred pages now, although its not near releasable as they have never been cleaned up and have lots of commentary and personal notes back and forth between myself and a friend. Maybe someday they'll be cleaned up too though but its not priority at the moment.
That about wraps up the update for me. Hope everyone has had a great year so far. Still got a lot to look forward too; Wifey and I will be celebrating 10 years of marriage this summer and the 1 year birthday of our son!

Personal Update
Posted 9 years agoAfter reading a bunch of updates from others, I figured I might as well do a broad overview update to show I'm still alive. Overall, I'm doing really well. My career has taken off and while its not 'make video games, write stories' like my teenage self imaged I'd be doing for a living, it certainly does well to fund those hobbies. This summer wifey and I took two vacations, celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary, and mourned the loss of our old cat. She was ancient at 23. Wifey was down and out for a little while about her. Eventually we decided on getting another kitten, and we now have a very fluffy gray one we've named 'Wisp'. She's all the silly cat videos you've ever seen rolled into one, with the only drawback of having room clearing farts.
I am still working on my many projects. My biggest, Momsterous, is coming along slowly but surely. Motivation and progress seems to ebb and flow with inspiration and free time which I seem to find less and less. Lately work and real life has kept me fairly busy. I work steady hours, but there's always something to do; home improvement, yard to work on, friends who like to drink and play games, MMA, weekly tabletop RPG, etc. I've also been working on restoring a pinball machine and making an emulator arcade cabinet out of an old Tekken 3 cabinet.
That's about all I'm comfortable sharing. Hope everyone is doing well! Hopefully I'll have more of Momsterous to post soon, as well as some of my more recent writings when I'm happy enough with their edits.

Momsterous Update
Posted 10 years agoHeyo,
For anyone who's been following my little hobby project 'Momsterous', I updated today on the dev blog here: http://www.foxtalestimes.com/Games_2/index.html
For anyone who was unaware of it, its a silly RPG made with RPG Maker VX Ace about a boy, a magical girl, diapers and a town in trouble.
-CS Fox
--- Mini-Update --- (This is not the script patch)
PATCH!!!
Okay so I've re-posted the full game with patches applied, and to test incremental updates while keeping your save games, please download www.foxtalestimes.com/Momsterous_Patch.rar and copy the contents over what's inside your regular game folder. Your save games should stay there. I lied about the 5mb, it'd only be 5mb if this was the un-encrypted game and I didn't get lumped into having to toss in graphic resources you already have, so instead its 30mb, my apologies.
Patch Log:
-Fixed Linkx’s display names (My bad on that, don’t know why I thought the X was capitalized).
-Fixed climbable vines in courtyard.
-Fixed issue where you could gather sheets off of Michael’s bed without having wet it.
-Fixed an issue with lingering wind noise in 1st Dungeon.
-Started work on ‘big girl’ run (I like the name suggestion DABlade :P). Will take a little bit of planning to insert the following – 1) Change initial ‘whammy’ that makes her have an accident. 2) Change conversation where Amy see’s Mira in the park. 3) Change panty check at Café. 4) Sadie’s initial report about a girl like Amy. 5) Change after school talk at the Café. 6) Sign in museum.
-Fixed lingering event in Park that isn’t supposed to be active yet.
-Mira is now starts the 2nd dungeon at full health regardless of level.
-Fixed Monday morning error where you could still grab sheets even if you didn’t wet the bed.
-Fixed error where you could change to Michael in 2nd Dungeon.
-Fixed error where if you didn’t need to wash your sheets and your saw your mom after school, you couldn’t change into Mira after.
-Fixed error where it showed you had wet panties even after doing laundry.
-Fixed error with underwear after taking diaper off.

Making another game, demo out...
Posted 11 years agoI've been working on this for well over a year now. I've been pretty hush hush and I've debated on whether I should release a demo yet or not, and figured, with the interest in FTT games lately, I might as well throw this out there.
http://www.foxtalestimes.com/Games_2/index.html
This is a link to the little dev site I made for my game "Momsterous". It is an RPGmaker VX Ace game about a boy, a magical girl, and a bad something that wants to be everyone's Mother. It is not furry, although features some furries in it.
Also, if you're into ABDL games, I highly suggest checking out what's happening on the FTT forums. No membership needed to see or download the games.

Hiring for temp job, ABDL related, details within...
Posted 11 years agoHeyo,
Okay, so I've been a busy fox and the fruits of my labor are finally heading toward fruition. ... long story short the website www.foxtalestimes.com is getting a revamp and rebirth in the near future. I won't go into all the details just yet, but I'm going to need some help and I'm willing to pay a person or two who's got the time.
The story section of FTT is woefully mismanaged. Myself and a lot of the regular contributors have stories that need to be added, as well as I have an archive of a few thousand stories from many now dead abdl story sites that also need to be added.
Here's what I need done: All stories I have archived need to be formatted into a basic readable HTML page. As I said, there are thousands, many are already HTML, but there are also a lot of word documents and .txt's; some of which are just giant blocks of text that need proper spacing on top of file formatting. This is not going to be a fun job, and there's plenty of work for just this step alone. As I said, there are thousands.
I'd be willing to pay someone to go through all the stories and format them properly. Either lump sum of whatever we can agree is reasonable (30% down, 70% upon completion) or hourly pay so long as the hours are reasonable. I can draw up a simple contract if you want this more official or would like to put 'web work' on a resume or some such.
As a wishful note, my HTML coding is limited and I'm not able to do what I'd like for the story library. I can make another giant HTML story list, but as a different job, if someone could come up with an easy to sort, search, navigate and tag story library code for FTT, I'd be happy to discuss payment for a one time setup of that too.
This project is not for me to make money in any way. I simply want to see a lot of old stories presented in a relatively easy to navigate and find webpage. Anyone interested, please comment here or send me a PM. Please note this isn't a 'sure I'll help' kind of thing, I'm looking to pay for work here, if you'd like to take the job, actually sticking to it until its finished is expected.

Hunting for a video
Posted 13 years agoHey everyone,
I don't write here much, and usually I'm very savvy with all computers, but this one has stumped me for a while and I figured I'd put out a call for help.
I am looking for an episode of a 90's cartoon called 'Widget the World Watcher', in specific I am looking for episode 14 of the second season called 'Don't Cry Wolf'. It's one of the first ever cartoons I saw that had furries, transformation and kit adoption. I'd be willing to pay for a legitimate copy or otherwise. I have even been trying to track down who owns the current rights to the show to see if I couldn't get it from them since it was never re-released.
I know a few other people on here know this show and the episode I'm talking about. If I can find it, I'll get you copies too.

A note on which I explain myself and the future.
Posted 14 years agoReleasing some stories here in the next two weeks, including a long trial story that was created from an RP with Darth =3. Also been working on some comics with a few people, and my usual projects. (just slowly...)
Also, as a note on slowness and the future, starting in late August, I will effectively be stupid busy till Christmas. I will be working full time (40 hour work week) AND starting my masters as a full time student. School 7-3, work 4 - Midnight (5 days a week). After Christmas I will be moving to part time in the spring, but the goal is to finish up a masters in a single year with all the training and transfered credit I've done over the last four. I will have weekends free, but my wife is laying claims to them, sooooo.... maybe I'll be online between classes and late nights on weekends? ... ... Work is paying the full cost of an MA so its not something I'm going to turn down.
Also... I highly recommend the pursuit of higher education. Its tough, but it pays back ten fold if you have a little motivation.

Writing Delays
Posted 14 years agoHeyo,
Just thought I'd throw this out there.
The website is still running, and I'm glad so many people are interested to see it updated again. Before the next update comes out I'm waiting for a few things. 1) The big collab pic (if you've seen it, its awesome), 2) Baboon's updated game (you in the spotlight dog, get er dun), 3) Working demo of 'M07H3R-CARE' (my recent game project), and a few mixed stories from myself and friends.
I've been working more on my stories, and although coming back to the US and my new job have been keeping me very busy, there will be more out soon. Right now the update order is Ghost House Trap, Daycare Troubles, and a stand alone story that is almost finished and hasn't been posted anywhere yet.

Otakon Report
Posted 14 years agoHeyo imaginary friends,
After spending a long Friday and Saturday at Otakon, I'm anime'd out. It's been 4 years since I've been to the massive anime convention and unfortunately, it wasn't as great as I remember.
The panels kinda sucked, the amount of people was stifling, the dealers room was overpriced and someone thought it'd be cute to pull a fire alarm today and cause the whole thing to close down for two hours. The game room was decent, played a few hours of smash bros brawl and Marvel vs Capcom 2, but I'm not competition level to enter any of the tournaments.
The best thing in the con for me was the people I met. I met with the owner of fakku.net and chatted with him for about an hour. My woman wife put a nice drawing in his visitor log/drawbook and bought one of his shirts with a hen wearing a tie (hen-tie, get it?), I wholeheartedly support his translations of hentai mangas. Also met the artist behind VG cats and the guy who runs Snafu.
This year has become the year of Hetalia, I saw at least two dozen cosplayers of every major country represented in the show. Funimation (the evil dubbing company) was pushing the DVD release and holding all sorts of industry and fan panels. My woman wife loves the show, mainly because it encourages fascist countries represented by girly men to have man man relations. As a fan of history, and a much bigger fan of woman woman relations, I hate it. I like comedy animes (2x2 Shinobuden, Ouran HS Host Club, etc) but I guess I don't like Yaoi comedy.
Meh, aside from all that, not really sure what the point of this journal is. Before going to the con, I had a talk with a rather cynical demi-god who was saying that Otakon, Gen-con, and Comic-con had turned corporate whorespace and sucked balls. It wasn't all terrible, my woman wife had a great time cosplaying and got photo'ed like a million times, but I could have done without the massive crowds and lines for everything. We'll be attending some of the smaller cons later this year and hopefully they go a little better.

Project Info
Posted 14 years agoEveryone likes to put status updates about their commissions and works... Well, I don't really do commissions, I draw with crayon... and uh.. I can do stick figures great.
I can write though... So in the interest of making myself look busy and not like I'm totally playing Red Dead Redemption or drinking gallons of Guinness at an awesome pub... I thought I could put progress markers for various projects I'm currently working on...
Stories: (In order of current priority)
-The Ghost House Trap... 85% complete. Next chapter is half written. This one is my next priority since its close.
-Daycare Troubles... 55% complete. Next chapter is almost done. I just haven't polished it yet.
-Domesticated... 75% complete. Written in homage to Long Rifle, and I'm not releasing it till its completed.
-The Warhime Program... 15% complete. This one is a mixed bag. Its 6 mini-stories that are in various stages of completion with half of them done in RP (and were a lot of fun, and I think will be very popular). It's a continuation, not a re-write.
Those are the immediate story projects I've spent time on in the last two weeks. As always, I plan to eventually finish ALL of my stories, just... not sure when.
Also, I have my paws in many other projects outside of writing, including a game, a comic, etc etc...
Tootles.

Back in the groove...
Posted 14 years agoIt's been a few weeks and things have finally settled down. I've got my job sorted out, I begin next week. My stuff from Japan still hasn't arrived in the conex box I shipped it in (boats = slow). My writing has been neglected, and I have excuses, but they're not good ones. Chock it up to family, friends, Chipotle, Rita's, Monster Hunter Tri, Mass Effect 2, and re-adjusting to having pets.
Since coming home, I can't shake the feeling that its only half real. I finally get to experience life as a married man. I can see my family and not have to fly 1800 miles to do it. And most surreal of all, I'm not worrying about having to leave at a phone call for another disaster story or political instability.
It's good to be home.
Since coming home, I can't shake the feeling that its only half real. I finally get to experience life as a married man. I can see my family and not have to fly 1800 miles to do it. And most surreal of all, I'm not worrying about having to leave at a phone call for another disaster story or political instability.
It's good to be home.
Almost there...
Posted 15 years agoFour years, 22 passport stamps, one deportation (F-ck you Burma), a wallet with never less then the currency of five countries and a few facial injuries later... I'm homeward bound.
Was delayed... then tricked into one more job... and finally I have tickets in hand.
I fly back to Japan from Singapore on the 18th of this month, and then I fly out of Japan and back to the States on the 22nd. I'll be running around the West Coast for about 10 days visiting relatives and friends, and then its on back to the East Coast to re-establish myself.
Feels good man, feels good.

Why my writing suffers...
Posted 15 years agoHeyo,
I broke down and finally made one of these pages. I've resisted doing it for years since I felt the urge to buck the trend. I can at least claim that I have never visited myspace even once or spent more then a casual look over someone's shoulder at World of Warcraft. Too much crap to do... and maybe that's giving Fur Affinity too much credit as something 'trendy'. Choke it up more to my laziness.
But yah... lately my website and writing has been suffering due to my RL job. Thankfully my visa is almost expired and I can escape Asia. As of this very minute I have 4 months 19 days and roughly 20 hours before I board a plane headed back to the states for good... but who's counting, right? I'm hoping that by making an FA account I'll get off my ass and finish more of my work and maybe write more furry junk.
Currently in: Olongapo, PI heading for Pohang, KOR. Arriving home to Japan sometime in late November. Celebrating New Years in Fukuoka if anyone's on Kyushu.
