If there ever was a favorite of the two spider siblings among their parents, it would be Caroline. She is the sweetest and most adorable girl according to her parents. Caroline would drop everything to help someone out as best she could, even if it meant having to sacrifice her interests. She's the best jumper in her entire family, with her mother being the only one who could come close. She sees web-slinging as more of a dance to be performed mid-air, making all sorts of flashy twists and turns while airborne.

Caroline is very much a product of those who raised her. She's a bit of a gym bunny and loves to spend time with her dad. Reilly considers Caroline to be his perfect little princess who can't do any wrong. Caroline focuses more on agility and flexibility, rather than body-building like her father would. Vera tries to mentor Caroline in everything she believes her daughter will need to know in life. However, it seems the lessons Caroline clung to most are those about keeping up her appearance, making her quite the vanity queen. Her parents will never see it, but she's more mischievous than Marsh is. The main difference being Caroline has learned from Marsh's blunders and learned how to not get caught.

Despite being born in such harsh terrain, Rio is a bit of a diamond in the rough. Rio grew up on the edge of the desert to a small family. Being the oldest child, he spent a lot of time growing up helping to raise his siblings and care for them, not leaving him with much time to socialize with his peers. With his nose to the grindstone (so to speak) Rio never had a chance to realize what he could be missing out on. The only thing Rio really knew was that there was more to this world than the sands he grew up in.
Years later, with most of his siblings grown to the point of being able to care for themselves, he bid his family adieu and set out to find his own place in the world. Rio spent a lot of time traveling the continent but settling near the capital of his home country. He got a job working at a plant as a factory worker. He carved out his own little corner of the factory floor, but he still wanted to try to reach out to others. To do this, Rio spent a lot of time at bars and clubs, finally getting a chance to meet his peers and work to grow social connections with them. One fateful night he happened to bump into Marsh, who showed an immediate interest in Rio. The two of them spent hours getting to know each other. The spider would spend most of his time over the next couple of days getting to be a part of the scorpion's world. Eventually, though Marsh had to leave, he implored Rio to come to the spider's country and see another side of the world. Over the next few months, Rio saved up enough to start his life anew in the spider's home country.
It was a brave new world for the scorpion and he was a bit nervous about the whole idea. Luckily Marsh and his family were there for Rio to lean on when things got to be too much. A whole new culture and way of living were some of the biggest changes to the scorpion's life, but he grew to embrace a sense of almost child-like wonder. It was also the first time the scorpion ever got to view himself as attractive and cute. Growing up he always faced some arachnid-typical stigmas for his appearance. However, in this new country, he slowly came to see why Marsh always said he was 'too cute for his own good'.
Nowadays Rio spends plenty of time living his new life out and carving his own niche into this world, while still traveling afar to visit his family and remember his roots.

Vera grew up as an only child. The latest in a long line of what her family referred to as the 'White Widows', due to their rather heart-breaking approach to relationships. Growing up Vera resented being labeled as such before people even got to know her. Her mother had lived with the stigma all her life and grew to accept it, but Vera had no intention of carrying on such a legacy. Try as she might though, she still did end up breaking plenty of hearts growing up. People would clamor to her for her beauty and grace, but Vera never really felt that special connection she grew up wishing for. As she grew older, she slowly began to understand the true nature of her family's legacy. They weren't heartless and cruel as people made them out to be, they just knew what they wanted in life and had a hard time finding what they desired. But spurning so many people worked against them, leading to them being branded as callous and without any love in their hearts.
Vera went on with her life outside of romance, becoming a rather accomplished and successful weaver. She did her alterations and dress-making business out her own home, mainly taking on customers through word-of-mouth. Her success in her craft bolstered her self-confidence to new heights, leading her to try other ventures to see what else she could accomplish. One such venture led her to a gym, where she met Reilly. Sensing a deeper issue with him, she took him on as her new project, eventually helping to flip his inferiority complex into a healthier way of bolstering himself up for his own sake.
In Reilly, she did find something truly special. She was smitten with his body at first, but over time she grew to enjoy his company and how he could be a foil to her. Vera grew feeling for him quickly, but she had doubts. The feelings she had weren't exactly what she expected growing up thinking about the one person who would finally give her that special connection she was looking for, a way to finally shed that 'White Widow' title. Reilly and Vera spent a lot of time together, and a good portion of that time was spent on introspection of each other and their relationship. Vera realized that not everything has to happen as she thinks it had to. She grew to realize that she had was more than she could have thought, a whole mixture of things both good and bad. But the one thing Vera knew for certain, Reilly was the one she wanted by her side through all of it.
Years after meeting Reilly, they welcomed Marsh into the world. Marsh ended up being the first boy born into her family in generations. Vera would spend a lot of time teaching Marsh everything she knew about spinning webs, as well as wisdom she learned about life. She's very proud of what Marsh has become and looks forward to seeing what he'll do in the future.
A few years after Marsh was born, Caroline became the next 'White Widow' to be born into Vera's family. Determined to guide Caroline on how to navigate their family's legacy, Vera spends a lot of time with Caroline, teaching her everything she knows no matter how small or insignificant Caroline may view it. Vera has the most challenging time trying to navigate her life with her daughter, trying to balance her role as a mother, a friend, and a mentor but she enjoys every minute of it.

Reilly
Age: Mid to late 40s
The youngest of 8 children, Reilly is the only boy among his siblings. With 7 older sisters, Reilly was constantly teased about physical strength (since females are stronger biologically). The constant teasing caused Reilly to develop an inferiority complex about his body image and physical strength. This led to Reilly spending a lot of time at the gym in his younger days to build muscle.
This complex followed him for years, creating some difficulty for him to maintain social connections. When Reilly met Vera she helped him to turn his complex on its head, leading him to focus more on bodybuilding for himself rather than others. He grew to really enjoy working on building physical strength and being an overall stronger person. Reilly has competed in some strongman competitions to some mild success, but he prefers testing himself to others and finding new reasons to push himself. Vera enjoys a more sculpted partner as well! Marsh and Reilly bond a lot over music, with each sharing music that they each enjoy. Reilly also pushes Marsh to strive to do better in all sorts of things his son is into.
Caroline is definitely Daddy's Little Princess. He is constantly doting and fawning over his daughter, practically spoiling her rotten if it weren't for Vera stepping in to stop Reilly.
Brock views Reilly as a role model for the kind of person Brock wants to be. The two are often workout buddies.
Rio thinks Reilly is a super cool dad and overall fun guy to be around. Rio also blames Reilly for his dad fetish.
Reilly loves to use his muscles in bed, using his physique to hold and support his partners in whatever way he wants to. He has a more female preference, but he does enjoy sleeping with the occasional femboy.

Spiders and Tarantulas can shoot webbing from their wrists and abdomen.
Webbing can very from stickiness, size, and use.
All arachnids can assume a taur form, but it requires a lot of practice and focus to shift forms.
All arachnids are capable of producing venom to varying effects, mostly aphrodisiacal.

Personality: Lazy McMotherfucker. Marsh has all the capacity and ability to do so much with his life, and yet he prefers to laze about and be a general troll. He is a very quiet individual until you get him to open up to you. Marsh does like to prank folks as well, either verbally or physically.
He's also the type to sleep with just about anyone he can get into bed. A classic pansexual, it's not about what in between their legs. While he's mostly a top/dominant, he does enjoy being on the bottom with the right partner. He loves to tie up his partners as well and put them in all sorts of compromising positions.
Unique to Marsh, he also has the ability to lay eggs in his partners. These eggs however only hatch into small spiders and aren't really considered children, but are more like tiny minions. These little spiders have their own social dynamics that nearly as entertaining to watch as television.

Personality: Better than you. Brock has always been super cocky, often challenging his cousin Marsh to contests just to stroke his ego. Though Marsh is usually quick to knock him down a peg with a quick 'Junior' jab, a nickname he detests. His boasting and confidence aren't without just cause though. Brock is one of the strongest members of the family. His webbing tends to be thicker than the spider side of his family. Like a real tarantula, he's a bit hairy, something he's also very proud of.
In bed, Brock has to be on top. He's usually focused on himself first, but that's not to say he won't make sure his partner gets there too. He has a feminine preference, not limited to just girls but cute boys as well. He loves it when his partner strokes his ego as well by letting him know how proficient he is in bed.
Brock doesn't spend much time around his immediate family. He lost his mother to cancer when he was a pre-teen and his dad spends a lot of time working to keep his mind off the pain. Vera loves having a strong young man over, and Brock likes to antagonize Marsh, so the tarantula is a common feature in Vera's home.

Seriously, you're doing yourself a disservice by not going to go see the new Power Rangers movie. I loved it and you most likely will too. Oh, and there's a mid-credits scene but no after-credits scene.
