This isn't particularly recent news, but I've been moving away from the name captainzepto for a while now. As far as my brand goes it's simply Zeptophidia, on most platforms, and a SFW alt on Deviantart called Theratsorceress. As far as me personally, and my character, I'm happy to announce it's Circe now! <3

I am eagerly awaiting the name change feature on Furaffinity, too c:

Announcement time!

After years of doing art and finishing over 300 commissions, I've decided that I love doin' it and will continue for way much longer. To that end, I've started my own business, The Rat Department!
This won't change anything to the commission process, it just means I'm invested and excited to keep on offering a dependable commission service. Plus, I get to say "Hi, I work for the rat department" and that's won't ever stop being funny to me.

One small change I'm making to the commission process - it used to be 24h, the entire 1st of the month. It's happened a couple times that US furries poked me in their early evening, thinking they were on time, but midnight had already passed here. So I'm extending the timeslot from GMT midnight to PDT midnight. No need to start calculating timezone differences - whether you live in europe or the usa, I'll close by midnight. This will probably mean I'll have to decline more people, but I'd rather give everyone fair consideration rather than getting stuck on stupid misunderstandings.

With that being said, I'm opening for a couple slots for October! I'll get back to drawing now, I still have a queue to finish.

Time for some TOS updates!


What will I draw?
I make fully colored & shaded artwork, both SFW and NSFW. The kinks I draw regularly are fine, feel free to ask about any others. I won’t draw extreme kink art (WS, scat, cub, etc.). I prefer to stay within conventional bodily proportions. Regarding TF, I will only draw it within the context of NSFW pieces.

Anything I draw will be uploaded to my gallery & likely reposted to Inkbunny and E621. If you want it to go online at a specific date (say, for a birthday present), just ask! After I upload it, you’re free to repost it anywhere you want, as long as you give credit.


How to commission me:
I open commission slots on the 1st of every month. Comment on that month’s Journal or PM me your idea & refsheets! I will fill the slots at midnight PDT. If you're worried about your idea being rejected, discuss it with me beforehand. Keep in mind that there are only a limited amount of slots - omission is not an outright rejection. In the interest of fairness, I will not pick the same people two months in a row.

Once the slots have been filled, I’ll work through the list throughout the month. I usually finish everything within the month/ 5 weeks. Be warned, I will draw personal art during this time as well - nonstop commission work is pretty rough ^^;

I will message you when I’m ready to start, and supply you with WIPS as I progress. Feel free to ask for more!

*Changes are completely fine, within reason (edits to markings or color are no problem at all, but no large changes to the linework when I’m already doing the colors ‘n shades)
*You must be at least 18 to commission me, no matter the content of the commission.


Payment:
*paypal or bank transfer within europe
*I kindly ask you to pay up-front when I’m ready to start on your commission.

Refunds:
*For emergencies, I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time and issue a refund. In case this happens, I will contact you ASAP to offer a refund/ a slot next month.
*You are free to cancel the commission at any time. I will refund you based on the amount of work completed (100% before I’ve started, 75% at the sketch, 50% at the lineart)

NEW - ART STREAMS!
I've started to casually stream art in my Discord server! You are welcome to watch, just ask me for a link!
By default, I'll stream commissions I get. If you prefer me not to stream your commission, it'll cost 30% on top of the commission cost.

Please understand though, I have a schedule to keep- I can't postpone work to stream it at a specific time. Sorry ^^;

Character Adopts

I sometimes sell or give away characters. To these, the following conditions apply:
*You can literally do whatever you want with it, it's your character now
*Be honest about me being the original creator
*I would really appreciate it if you showed me new art you get on them, always nice to see ^w^
