I've had a few people reach out to me knowing my family and I live in NC. Thankfully we're in central NC and got a little rain and wind.... nothing to the extreme the western part of our state got. My sister in law is looking for her parents (she's heard they're safe, she went to go find them today), and my friend is waiting to hear back about her Aunt (this particular scenario is not looking good). please keep those affected by Helene in your thoughts, as there are MANY missing people. <3

I know I've ghosted, but I do plan to come back to do more art once I can establish a routine (and get used to less sleep, so I can work at nights).

As some of you may know, I am a teacher. I've had a lot of people purchase items off my classroom wishlist, but I have a few items left. I work at a Title I school where funding is low, many kids are not having basic needs met, and come to teachers asking for snacks. I put some snacks on my wishlist for students who come asking. If you feel so inclined to share and/or contribute, I know myself and my students would greatly appreciate the donation!

Trying to find my muse and draw specific themes I'd like before opening for commissions again. If anyone's interested in this, please message me. I'd like to do a simple, flat-colored piece of your character with a choice of flower or plant (i.e. cactus) as the primary theme. As much as I'd love to do this for everyone, I can't. I'll let this form stay open for a while, as I'm currently finishing my commission queue.

Thanks, y'all, for your interest. I'll contact everyone this week! I won't be able to start until the 22nd of this month (and one will have to come first because it's on a time crunch), but you'll be notified via email!

Looks like our district DID close, but we're going in tomorrow to sort everything out. Apparently I'm over training, so instead of actually PLANNING for my students to do distance/digital learning, I get to teach how to do it. My son's birthday party is also next weekend, so I'm finishing his nursery artwork and party decorations. Other than that, looks like i'll be free for a while!

There's a possibility my school system will shut down and, as a result, my pay will be suspended. The district isn't really equipped to handle what's going on right now, and we are (most likely) unable to remotely teach as many students in my district do not have access to the internet. If we cannot remotely teach, we will most likely not be paid.

As a result, I'm open for commissions (if the district actually closes). If you're interested, please go ahead and fill out the form below. Once I'm notified about any closures, I'll contact each individual.
