At first i knew what i wanted to type all out here. It was all businessy stuff, a side-effect of how i get when i start talking terms in my proffesional mode.

but then i thought back and this year i've just been so... so happy! living with  guardiandrake has been the best year of my life so far. Though i'm faced

with new problems i've never really had to tackle before, i don't feel like i have to do them alone anymore.

now the business~

- I'm going to be adjusting my prices~! commissioners for the last month have already been given my reduced rates and i'll be making a more concise graphic

for the new year. With the oncoming, inevitable changes to the economy of the every-worker i don't feel like it would be responsible of me to be in the triple

digits.

For now.

- Sales! Either i need to stop feeling guilty about reposting sale fliers or create a theme sale every month~ I've been weighing in if i should move this to a

subscription service like subscribe star.

-My YCH's may be too specific to really capture an audience and i may not be doing those again for a while. May need to do some polling and ask all of you

sweeties what you look for in a YCH.

-Speaking of polls i'll be asking around and here what sources of my art you'd like to see when im posting to chatgroups in telegram and Discord if there is

a prefference for FA, Weasyl, Bluesky, raw or any other gallerys i set up in the future.

-My Merch store is coming!!! soon!!! it will!!!! it has to!!!!! i'll be utilizing Ko-Fi's store capabilities at first and slowly branch out to other, non-etsy storefronts

untill i can figure out how to run it from my own website.

-The big end goal is to have some sort of place i can point to and say "here i am" and have it run securely without having to anticipate with every post that

my account will be banned for whatever reason non-participants say so, and even tripply so for places that hold transactions ! I've been using Pay-pal alot

as i already had one and invoicing is secure for both parties should anything happen,however the fees are bad and could get much worse. it's already

taken a couple commisions worth out with it's fees but i know not everyone is geared up to just write me a cheque and mail it to my PO Box so i will be

looking around for alternate payment processors that play nice (not a small feat).

-Finally if everything goes well i may offer different types of work in the future~ Vector designs and 3D models (Rigging is still just a bit beyond me so they will be static models for now... for now)

I've been starting to take commissions amongst friends, and feeling out a good price structure for this new chapter of my life.
I've moved in with my wonderful Toyfriend,who has given me so much confidence to start persuing my dreams.
My previous place of work was...physically VERY rough and i did not leave there unchanged.

luckily i don't need to walk several miles a day to do ART.

I'll have more information as guidelines and information is hammered out~ everything is subject to change.

i mostly need to figure out how i aim to structure my 3D render and model work as the time i take on those is dictated by programs moodiness beyond my control.

Well my Battery Backup/Surge Protector from 2011 finally experienced a critical part failure (something about a broken weld), and i'm thinking its a good time to take a hiatus from the internet for awhile.
You wont see me much around for a bit, maybe a few weeks, and in that time i'm going to hunker down and work on my massive backlog of various hobbies and life things.

im not going to get into depressing lifey stuff because my mood has been on the upswing in a big way and i am rideing that sucker as hard as i can

so posting art! i did alot of drawing in 2017 but your going to start seeing real quick that i never uploaded it! OOPS! some of the stuff is unsigned because im a dingus but if its not signed just imagine its from the middle of last year or something

life permitting i hope to be drawing alot more this year! fingers crossed!

So me and the landlady talked things over, there was some severe misinterpretation mixed in with

me working 14 hours a day for many days in a row and not getting proper amounts of sleep

when i first moved here 4 or 5 years ago it was a temporary move, just till i could get on my feet.

the economy where i live could not support that plan, and still cannot. even all of these years later.

i am urged to move out as things are changing. but i am NOT being forced out.

which is good. because apparently while i wasn't looking things have changed.

in order to live in an 800$ a month apartment i need to be able to prove on paper that i can make 2400$ a month

right now? i make 1200$-1600$ monthly...generally...

so to make up that extra 1000$ i need to make just to live in a place that costs within that amount alone i

was going to open up for commission.

i still am going to. my doors are primed for opening soon. whether you guys can support me that way or not

has yet to be seen. but now i have time. i have time to make things work.

get all these irons in all these fires organized and hopefully actually be able to open up for commission

either this month or going into next!

oh yeah and i wont have to pack away my computer so thankfully i will be around in generally all places

So i guess i should put some stuff down

about two weeks ago i got word from my landlady that i need out

i've had maybe three days off since then

i was going to get some stuff together and officially open for commissions, like with a doodle and everything like the pros

i found out i have two weeks or so to find a new place to live

and i only have two days off till then

summarizing all this? i'm not going to be available. while i'm calling potential landlords i am also going to be packing all of my things into my one and single room, all my belongings are going to be crammed in here and that is going to leave no room for my computer set-up

communications will largely be slow or down

when i settle into wherever i'm going to wind up i will open up for commissions for realsies!

since FA has folders now i have been thinking of uploading commissions to this account

would that annoy anyone? i mean i will wait like a month after i purchase art from an artist to upload my image.

because oh dang one thing i hate is when a customer instantly uploads their commission at the same time as the artist

or the customer has nine accounts that all upload the same art

after a short personal identity crisis i decided i need to make up for more than a decade of not being a fox

so fox!bouch will be more of a thing moving forwards, and armadillo!bouch will still be most ignored

and it isint just lately neither...this has been a thing that's been hurting me for years

friends going out to bowling or minigolf or themeparks. i'd only see them as they drove off.

big group commisions with "all my friends" im not there

big blogs saying how much all my friends mean to me...my icon is no where

no one ever approuches me for doing joint commisions...its always with everyone else on my friends list, and i never get any replys when i ask about it...

lately a friend drew something that we talked about alot, that i was super into, and am still super into~ and poured some love into creating something cute we could both enjoy... a somewhate barely related peice done by someone else gets credited and not a thought is spared to me...

a friend that has promised lots of happy dressup time...oh this other friend of ours gets it...but i just get a massive slap in the face.

this is something i've delt with for years and sometimes i wonder how much worth i actually have as a human being (protip for rad gamers : it isint alot)

i know im going to get three people saying "oh dont let that get you down" and "get better soon"

yeah that is going to hurt too.

Im thinking about sneaking in saterday and snagging a day pass

Hey guys! it's uh...been awhile again

almost moved into a new room, more space, better organized, already feeling way more productive

been working on 3D sculpts, small pixel game sprites, and of course still plugging away at some long overdue fursuit and costumes
(thank you again yous guys for being so patient!)

work is still a drag and eats up almost all of my week still. but i am getting braver in demanding at least ONE day off a week.

Funny thing though~ it's been so long since i last uploaded anything i forgot about the asinine flood protection.

So finally working on my new room~ tearing down hangers and nails, taking stock of what i need to do and get still. and generally being good at DIY home improvement


and my goodness if it doesnt feel AWESOME to be doing this kind of work again~ and all to a lovely new room (that i am SO looking forwards too!).
