Alright, so, ANE was my second 'con, and...OH MY GHAWD so much fun. So much...done. So much discovered. It was blast and I'll be apt to remember this one for a long time to come, INCLUDING the 2:00 AM fire alarms :I ...and Crabs Adjust Humidity, among many other, other...other, other-other things.
Now, it's time to scrounge and save up for AC! ...so much saving =I

An ode to Dark Spirit-_-asdfghjkl (v and x something)
Posted 10 years agoIn the quiet, dim halls of where a goddess was slain, how appropriate that I incurred the Dark Wraiths' wrath.
In battle with a Titanite Demon, I saw the ominous message rise, a dour intoning of frightful, shadowed encounters crimson.
Quickly I stole myself away from battle, the hunted, possessed by fear and morbid anticipation, through the antechamber no longer under guard, down the stairs under sun-less night.
Cunning, crafty I thought to corkscrew the pillar back to its resting position, but, as the gears turned and pillar rose, I knew you had given chase.
On its ascent I spied you, calm against the cloud-choked canvas above, readying my sword and shield, the blade's weight firmly buoyed upon my shoulder.
Darkest malevolent night, your finer features eluded me, too gripped by battle and survival's edge to notice, the pillar once more on the rise as it yawned upward and to the clouds...ferrying us toward battle.
Clash, clang! Eastern blade upon Snakeman's cleaver, blow after blow was exchanged. Doges, slides, we knew not the backstab's insidious charm, but wit and timing!
---
You were my finest invader...and I apologize for cleaving you into the ground when you bowed, I already keyed in the move <_<

Civil Service
Posted 12 years ago-> Call Local Fire Department to report burn pile with no supervision.
-> Get told to put it out yourself.
-> Several gallons of water and raking later...
So, this makes me a Volunteer fire fighter to some degree, right?
Hmmpphh hrrmrrmhrrmmph! Hmawmmnammphhhmmhmhm!

Mystical Cats and Dogs in Life
Posted 12 years agoApparently, there's this place down in Texas.
http://www.lonestarsanctuary.org/
I haven't dug TOO deeply, yet, they seem alright. Now though, there's a person trying to extend the shelter's efforts, details here http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3452490/
Now, here's the fun bit. If you make a journal, pimping their journal, she'll donate a dollar out of her pocket to the charity.
Soooooo far, there's $2. Can we make it $3?

Pop-Con ahoy
Posted 13 years agoHo' shit, I've got an hour to sleep, then, a possible Super Smash Bros (waaaaaah, where're the Armored Core titles, waaaaaaah) tournament.
Five bucks me goin' down in round one!
Pop-Con Report, 11/13/11 - Well, turned out to be "Stock" matches, made the final four players based on number of kills/KO's, which makes sense...my 'Letting the Puppets Dance' strategy didn't put me in the final matches, but I was alriiiiiiight with that. (As I was fine as a duelist, best dodger outta the people I fought one on one.)
...then the best part of the Pop-Con thingy, met a Doctor, got flashed by his Sonic Screwdriver/pen thing, saw a member of Team Rocket who didn't look quiiiite menacing enough...met an artist, got art (typical fur-thing), aaaaaaaand found myself a crocheted octopus named Clarice, who's currently guarding my as of yet scanned work.
...all in all, I'm goin' again next time! (and my gawd there were a whole bunch of Links...only one real good one, but, the 501st Alaska Outpost was there too, so, I can't complain too hard xD)

Posted 13 years agoJuly 18th: Okay, I need to start concluding my comments on here with "your welcome" 's, I think it's leaching into life off the computer...and that just won't do.
But seriously, it's that I feel me not "welcoming" others is erecting a barrier, that's prevenitng me from getting to know people on here I'd like to know.
...YAAAAY, self-lobstervation.

Posted 13 years agoUpdates for security out the wahzoo, restarts, everything's wiped.

For the first time in my life
Posted 13 years agoI realized I'm alone.
It was actually kind of funny and enlightening how this came about, but, alright.
I'm going to work toward not being alone. (Brack, put the bat down)
(...who knew pictures of fat dogs could spur such a revelation xD)
EDIT April 16th:
Home theater systems are pretty neat, it's just...odd to be able to feel the movie without being there to watch it, seriously, BASS.
