First fursuit omg?
Posted 11 years agoYeah, I'm making a fursuit. The head is most of the way done and you can see my video of it so far here:

The character is, of course, Atreyu (ref: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8897344/ )
The ears have been cut out (They're HUGE and go straight backwards) but they need to be sculpted. The teeth and inside jaw has also been constructed but not yet put in. I also need to work out a way to make lips with the pleather I have.
This is all sorta on hold til I get my refund money, though. Can't go out and buy fur without it and that's the next step.
The nose is painted and textured super sculpy, the eyes are resin casts, also painted and about 1.5 inches. The eyes and the nose glow in the dark.
I don't think I'm fully done shaping the face, anyhow. I feel like it should be a bit smaller still if I'm going to be using the resin eyes? I dunno, what do you guys think? Maybe I should go for a 'cartoony' fursuit rather than a semi-realistic one?
Keep in mind that I'm pretty short/small/effeminate. It should probably be smaller if only for that reason.
