I really have no idea how to put together a visually successful table to bring in customers, since this is my first time. Aside from having examples of the work i'm trying to sell.

Any tips from experienced sellers who've done this before? Help a brother out.

WHAT IF THEY HATE ME *runs in circles panicking*

So just to follow up from that journal I made about 3 weeks ago; I know I talked details with some people but I haven't gotten total commitments from anyone yet.
I realize now that with other projects, i'm only going to have time for 2 commission only slots. No trades, sorry :(

If you were one of those people interested, send me a note and we can talk about the payment process; I take 25% of the total as a down payment, and the first person in my queue will need to have that by Dec. 1st at the latest.

My roommate and I will be attending FWA 2013 and we plan on getting a dealers table together but....is my art good enough to sell? In all honestly, is it?

I've tried taking art commissions in the past and never had any real luck, hell it's even hard for me to give away my art via requests. So i'm wondering if i'd be able to make back the $80 i'd be spending on the space by selling art, mainly badges.

Believe me, I genuinely love drawing for others more than myself, and would love love LOVE the chance to actually take badge commissions, and I know I shouldn't charge professional price; i'd probably charge $5-$10 for a full colored badge. Or is that too expensive? ;;

Sigh. I guess i'm just asking, for me personally......do you think I can get customers?

~Regardless of any of these 3 people seeing this, it has to be said~

So I have to make 3 fursuit for my friends before next June for Anthrocon. I really would love to make these suits for them, as we are all going to the con, and I really enjoy all their characters. For their (complicated suits) i’m charging about, $400, $300, and $200, going down the line of each suit.

Here’s the issue.

The suit for $400 actually has a price value of $680. The $300 has a value of $460, and the $200 has a value around $320. Meaning, I’m taking a total loss on making these suits, especially when I don’t have a lot of money myself as it is. So why not just charge them the actual value?

SIGH. None of them have jobs, they don’t have any way to earn money aside from asking their parents for it, and they barely can make the initial total I all told them. So what do I do? I know if I tell them the higher prices, I risk the chance at losing their business and making NO MONEY at all…..though I guess I wasn’t making any to begin with…..

But i’m also sure they’ll be upset with me, since I had promised them i’d make them all suit. Plus, that’s more experience going out the door. ;-;

So, can somebody please help me on what I should do? I’m really in turmoil here :c
