Goretober, Plugin to Hide submissions!

It be that time of year again where I repost a journal for goretober! This basically covers an extensions/add-on that I find helpful to hide certain content, as not everyone wants to see blood and such. (this journal will likely be deleted/reposted on oct 1st)

Goretober year - day prompt

Use main Filter: Goretober
This hides ALL goretober art in gallery as I include it in all posts; my own and commissions
Use sub Filters
This folder contains all prompt lists; these are safe to look at and can be uses to filter certain prompts
Additional note; Borders for the level of maturity is equal to how bloody/gorey the image is!
★How it works★
(note: for the most part; once opened its self explanatory)
This extension does NOT read the actual tags on a submission
Instead it reads the submissions name, the artist, and the description
Once a blocked term/artist is put in the filter; all submissions that meet those criteria will now show as a blank image
This is ONLY for thumbnails; such as on the main page or in notifications; opening the submission shows the full image
Note: After a quick test; it does NOT hide images on the main artists page or in additional arts under a submission; so do keep that in mind
An additional feature; there will be a /- sign under a submissions thumbnail; for example in notifications. This allows you to simply hide or unhide all art from that artist
That should be all of it! Please feel free to ask questions; or if you do goretober yourself; reuse this to help others!

Hello! It be that time of year were I start goretober again! For those that do not know what that is; it is a daily prompt challenge for October wherein the base idea has some sort of horror/blood/gore theme featured.
I do know that certain themes; or certain levels of blood and gore are not things everyone wants to see. So this journal is a bit of a rewrite of previous years where I link some extensions that help block these from vision. That way you can hid all of them; or just a few; and dont have to unwatch or not look at galleries. This will be reposted a few times to make sure everyone gets a change to read it and be prepared! So without anymore blabbering; here is the info on how to block/hide Goretober artwork below!

In the past ive done raffles and such; and I def plan on doing one soon for this! The submission for it will prob be posted soon; and ill most likely draw the winner (maybe 2?) at the end of the month!

Posted 2 years agoIll be doing goretober yet again this year! So like last year here is the journal on how to hide it so you dont have to see it~
Plug in links: Firefox and Chrome
This plug in makes the submissions thumbnails appear blank if you have that option selected, or hides them completely. (under options)
It dosent block images so much with the tag system but more so by artist/submission names. So for blocking just simplify put things that may appear in the title; for my goretober you can just put goretober in the list as I title all submissions with that. You can also look at my list here and block certain prompts as well!
I hope this helps as I know not everyone cares for gore stuff and fa dosent have its own tag blocking system and uploaded thumbnails dont work~

Pride pwyw?
Posted 2 years agoThinking about doing some pwyw's this year for pride? Ive been wanting to do something more than just icons; but i cant really come up with anything for ychs.
So i'm wondering about doing them with the option of having them pride themed?
Im thinking having two mins; 1 for 15$ that is guaranteed to be a colored sketch, then maybe 30 for guaranteed lined with flats?
Anyhow ill mull this over and prob give it a try later tonight lol
(also anyone who does commish a lot; do you prefer google forms or just noting people? I see them a lot and am curious about preferences~)

Posted 3 years agoI've been pickin at altering my style a bit for a while now; recently have settled on it for the most part!
Ill most likely start using it for coms and stuff soon instead of the old one. Tho i'd prob still offer the old line style (the new one is more sketchy!).

Posted 3 years agoAs the title suggests; when january comes around I will be editing my prices AND will be removing things. Such as sketch sheets as they dont really get commished and chibis which I do a separate posting for~

However I know there may be some that are not a big fan of gore; so upon some diggin for my own reasons I stumbled upon two plugins for Firefox and Chrome

This is my current work schedule for art!
Note, I check my messages everyday, and update Trello every night with updates
Monday - Shading/ closest to finishing
Tuesday - Off
Wednesday - Personal Art/adopts
Thursday - Rough Sketches, Getting WIPs sent out ect; work on ychs or coms if no sketches needed
Friday - Sketches
Saturday - lined pieces
Sunday - Flats
**any day that dosent have work for that particular thing will have work done for the next day**

Just a little update about why I havent done anything I mentioned I'd do in my last journal for January.
Mostly, I hit a burn out from working on the rush of things from October and December, so I was slowed down. There was also several personal things that slowed me down in December and beginning of Jan that I wont get into but are part of the reason.
Either way, I am fixing to wrap up my current queue! And because I wasnt able to post chibis and ref sheet ychs at the beginning of Jan I will be getting those ready soon to post. They will run into February~
I will also be posting a newer schedule after this journal too :3

I plan on opening a ref sheet ych with a few slots, most likely auction for these. Depending on how quickly they go I may open a few slots for discounted sketch refs too.
I also plan on taking some chibi coms to as I was unable to get my example ready at the beginning of this month.
I also want to finish up some adopts; but I also want to make a little base to make some 10$ adopts too; so if you really want to see a particular species let me know~

nov/ Dec plans~
Posted 4 years agoWhile it is still a while till Christmas; I figured i'd post about about what I have coming up soon for it and the end of the month.
First; I do want to thank the ones who've helped me gather funds for a slight emergency I had with my health :3 Much appreciated!
For November and December; I do not have any sales or anything going on for the next week. My normal commissions are open but I am not focusing on advertising them at the moment.
My plan is to release another batch of Star YCH's in the next day or so and have those run as a 5 day auction. Then at the last week of November I will open up to sale sheets. One for Chibis that are Christmas/ Holiday themed. And another for sketches again. I plan on having at least two nsfw Christmas pin up YCHs and two sfw ychs. One of them is a couple one :3

Posted 4 years agoThings in the last month have been put in a blender full of...well bad things per say. Its calming down now, but I still have some plans to figure out.
BUT good news is that I have regained the ability to work more on my art again. Ill be doing so and for those that I owe art too I will be finishing your pieces soon.
After I finish my queue I will start to post again and continue my flow in art!

Nother Update!

Hello! Little update~ {ya'll must be getting tired of these; sorry!}
Personal things have been bouncing around more than a rubber ball in a rubber room; so progress on owed art has been slow. HOWEVER I am close to finishing up all of my owed art; all that is left is two commissioners and one other. (one or two gifts but those have already been discussed with the plp I was showing those to).
As of right now; I will most likely not be posting anything new til I finish these. I have some in stash(I prewrite some descriptions on DA) already written but due to not being able to get on regularly at the same time to also cross post I feel I should wait a bit.
As well my commissions are closed still as of right now even though my queue has lessened. IF your interested however I can add you to a wait list and message you when I am able to take your commission. My goal is to take one or two commissions after I finish my queue and only take that in till the previous is finished. Or in till personal life has decided to cooperate lol.

I'm not dead just really inactive with posting and going through my notifications. (except notes i keep on top of those)
The emergency move I did a few months ago is working well; however the place were moving to after had ..well shenanigans. But no worry we have a new place and are slowly getting things together to put homes and such on there.
I feel like I should clarify why this move is taking a little bit. I posted many months ago about fostering kittens for a rescue. Well we had been doing that for a while and in some way we are now much more involved with this rescue. I am one of the main people that takes care of all the cats we have. At the moment the rescue is at the same place of personal residence for us and the directors. They have become great friends and have helped alot (we joke that they rescue people too lol)
But because the rescue is on the same land as we are; we also have to relocate the rescue. This is what is taking the longest part of getting things move. We have buildings to move and many big kennels to move and setup.
In the mean time we are getting as many dogs we can to transport and trying to get babies adopted out~
So this is whats been eating up my time as current location makes us unable to have volunteers (like 8 miles of dirt road lol gotta love the south).
