Hope you're all doing well!
We're working on the current commission/adopt/YCH batch at the moment. We have a lot of finished artworks to deliver and some updates as well! Stay tuned!
This last month was a bit crazy, but now Millle, our main artist, is finally adjusting to her new routine as a school teacher and getting used to it (it's her first 9-5 job), so the agenda is better organised now, expect a good amount of progress on artworks!~
Kyan is graduating in around 2 months from now, so he is dealing with a lot of final university assignments, essays/articles to write and boring paperwork. Let's pray for him and send him our best wishes and good energy! :3
So, without our colorist, Millle is doing twice the amount of work! Please, be patient, as she is working a little bit on every commission and they are all progressing together! <3 π π
Some random real life info: Millle went to see the doctor last week, and she got her general check-up blood test results, her health is doing well. Yay! She also has depression, as you guys know, but fortunately she isn't anemic as well as she thought she would be XD - Millle eats very little, and doesn't enjoy meat very much, so we were all worried about her vitamin levels/etc. At least we're relieved. She did a ton of tests as well, but everything is fine, don't worry. <3

Hope you're all doing well!
We're working on the current commission/adopt/YCH batch at the moment. We have a lot of finished artworks to deliver and some updates as well! Stay tuned!
In general, we are doing well, but needing to re-adapt to a new lifestyle, specially our main artist Millle
.
She recently started working as a teacher, and suddenly was also offered another job at school as a school coordinator (working in the principal's office and helping organize and decision-making at the school, mainly towards high-school classes!), so, together with our Amaru art profile and Millle's main profile (plus all other social medias, e-mail, twitter, patreon, inkbunny, sofurry, etc, etc, to take care of.....)
Basically now she has like... 5 JOBS. Lol. πππ
It all happened in the last 2-3 months. Everything looking different for her, since she always worked as a freelancer -her whole life- and now she has the 2 art freelancing jobs here 2 regular ''9-5'' jobs besides/outside her artworks.
While studying to pass the attorney exam part 2. that will happen in a few months D: aw man.
Reminder - she also fights anxiety and depression, and being a total workaholic doesn't help at all >:c stay healthy, Millle!!
So things are pretty crazy/hectic for her right now-......and that's one of the reasons we decided to close our commission slots at her Main profile for a while, and now focusing more on Amaru's artworks, specially YCHs, Bases and Adopts for now. ^~^ Opening LESS slots, of course.
Kyan is also inside a crazy time/schedule TEMPORARILY because he is now entering his LAST semester at university, while also working on 2 different internships as a personal trainer/P.E. Teacher as well. :O
Phew.... Insane. But we are doing our best to start our future life structure the right way, working and studying a lot. <3 Soon these dark times will pass and we will be more adapted to our new lifestyles. >.<' so we ask for a little patience. Thank you!!

We hope you are doing well and healthy.
ππWe have some important information to share with you, and we can't wait anymore longer.ππ
We tried to solve the issues by ourselves silently and in other ways but it's time to talk about it and be open.
πΊπ¦Kyan and Millle, we, are the artists behind Amaru's beautiful works.
We've been working with arts since 15 y.o, and now we are both adults doing adulting stuff. π« π± Surely, time flies!! And things change. They need to change. β€βπ©Ή
π₯Ήππ©βπ Millle recently graduated as a Lawyer and had a rough time with graduation. But now, finally, she is doing better and recently got her first job as a teacher! π€©
Now she is working 9-5 for the first time in her life, after 10 years being a student artist freelancer only.
π₯Ά As our main artist, she is having a hard time maintaining all 3 jobs (teacher Millle's main page and arts and other profiles (like Patreon, dev.Art, InkBunny, Sofurry, Twitter, plus all posts, updates, messages, e-mails and journals time to create all her big and professional artworks) our AMARU page that requires the same websites and amount of hard work. life management in general. π΅π΅βπ«π΅βπ«π΅βπ«
πTho as a true workaholic, Millle loves doing it all but it sincerely making her sick and burnout.π€π’
As she is also fighting depression and anxiety (both diagnosed and starting treatment)..... β€βπ©Ή
π₯πKyan is also starting to face the same issues, as now he is soon graduating in Physical Education in university and will become a teacher as well by the end of the year/beginning of next year (hopefully!!!). π₯°πΎπ
He is also working in 2 internships at the SAME time right now, as needed for him to graduate as well. βΌοΈβ οΈβ οΈπ΅
So now he is entering the worst and hardest semester at university and things will need to change. :( as he also takes care of the same profiles, websites and art assignments.
βΌοΈ Due to these facts and situations, by the next months we might open less slots here on AMARU.
We might focus more on selling adopts and bases, or maybe other kinds of YCH.
πWe are doing out best to re-organize everything and get back on track asap, but in a different way. π
β οΈβ οΈβ οΈ
As for our current art/ych batch, most of them are in finishing stages/final touches and we will deliver them one by one soon. We had a small delay because of the reasons stated above other small personal life issues, but all artworks are now progressed and we will enter delivering stage this week, by the order (from older ychs to newer on the client queue!)

We don't usually send message updates as it's informed on our Terms of Service, but we are delivering ALL artworks, as always.

Hope you're all doing well!
We're working on the current commission/adopt/YCH batch at the moment.
Actually, we have important infos for our clients.
We had some technical issues in the recent past, our pc broke suddenly, we weren't able to use it for a month, we tried fixing it but it wasn't possible, and we had to get a new temporary one to get back on the commissions progress! It was not very good, because you guys know that art programs and the graphics/drawing tablet also requires a lot of RAM, memory and pc processor capacity, so the progress got delayed and a bit slower than usual at the moment.
BUT we are already solving this problem soon and getting a new pc.
Thank you all so much for your patience! π
We are looking after this situation carefully so don't worry. We are aware and all artworks will be delivered!!
Also, recently our main artist millle is suferring with covid symptoms this week. She is already taking the medications and getting better soon.
Yeah, we are not on a lucky month xD

Hope you're all doing well! We are fine, studying and working a lot lately.
We're working non-stop on the current commission/YCH batch at the moment, doing a lot of progress, specially now that Millle's hard exams week at her university is over. :)π
We have a lot of finished and 99% progress YCHs/commishes to deliver and send to clients from the previous batch soon, so, stay tuned! And starting some new ones as well.
Doing some small updates on our twitter too! You can follow us here to stay in touch and support our work! ^~^ π
And, of course, it's important to announce we've created our official Terms of Service! You can check them out here!
Amaru's works, art quality and presence had been growing a lot recently, more than Millle and Kyan expected, and we're grateful and very excited for the future! As you guys may know, Millle is a professional freelance artist that paints and sell art for almost 12 years straight now! Kyan has always had a talent for art, but after he met Millle he is working hard and learning a lot as an artist now as well! And together, we founded Amaru >u< π
So why not celebrate it and take the next step, starting by creating our official ToS? Such an important tool for commissioners and artists. :}
>>>We might adjust it and make some changes on the terms in the future, but they'll be very close to the current ones, nothing too different, as we're still building our TOS.
We're also planning on creating a commissioner's list, or a trello soon. Stay tuned!

We discussed a lot and decided to write this official journal to present ourselves.
We are a couple of co-op artists, me, Kyan and millle! Together, you can call us AMARU!
It's a name that... kind of forms a acronym using mixed random letters of our real names and nicknames as well xD We spent weeks thinking on the final name and here it is!
We work together side by side! <3
I, personally, besides helping on part of creative/design/concept thinking, do mostly the coloring and painting and Millle the beautiful linearts (and, occasionally, she adds some special touches in the arts too)!
Sometimes I create my own full artworks too, but they might be posted on a side account I intend creating later :)
As well as Millle's solo artworks can be found in her gallery/main profile! You should go check it out! ^^
Together we intend to keep creating and studying art together, alongside as posting and creating some auctions, bases, adopts and YCHs to sell some free as well!
These are contents you won't find frequently on Millle's page, but here you will :D So you can have some Millle's quality artwork but cheaper and in more dynamic/different forms and ways!
We will create a proper commission/TOS in the future and add more infos, but that's it for now!
