As of today (March 5, 2021) our new reminder policy is now in effect. As you may remember from our journal announcing the change, we have updated Section 2.1 (Reminders, Advertisements, and Promotions) of the Upload Policy.
As a quick reminder, here is the policy in full with the new changes in bold.
2.1 Reminders, Advertisements, and Promotions
Users may post reminder submissions with the following requirements: The rating must match the highest rated content being promoted. Users may post a total of up to 3 reminder submissions every 24 hours. This limit applies to ALL accounts owned by the user; NOT up to 3 per account. Only one reminder per original sale is permitted in this time frame.
Reminders, advertisements, and promotions must still comply with all other policies, such as Section 2.9 - Duplicate Content, where the image in the reminder cannot be identical to another image on your account.
Reposting submissions in an attempt to circumvent these limitations is not permitted. Attempts to bypass this policy or its limitations is prohibited.
In addition to these changes going live, we also have new tools to help cut down on submissions being removed and reposted in an attempt to bypass our policies. This should help both artists who are trying to get their sales seen while they are following our policies as well as users who are trying to browse non-sale content.
Some new tasty features:
- Browse content faster with up to 128 submissions per page on browse, search, and gallery views
- Get larger, more robust thumbnails up to 300px
- Increased maximum caps on folders (75) and folder groups (30)
- Skip the lines with reduced flood protection on new uploads, notes, and comments

Front Page Changes for New Submissions
We have identified an issue with thumbnails not always loading immediately and are implementing a 5 second delay before uploads first appear on the front page and the browse section. This should give the time needed for thumbnails to generate properly.New FA Perks

Video Embeds
We’ve also made changes to the way YouTube video embeds work in journals. The [yt] tag will now recognize more of youtube’s embed URLs and embedded videos will now scale down to fit smaller screens.As a reminder, YouTube videos can be added to your journals by using the following format:
