Anyone got advice on how to economically or ergonomically set up a desktop area so you DONT have to constantly re arrange your keyboard and junk when you want to draw on your tablet? @_@
I put my tablet on a swing away arm. It is a 21" Huion with a standard VESA mount and I bought a rotatable monitor arm and it works pretty well for me.
once again you come to my aid with information I wouldn't have previously thought of. but Im not sure if a rotatable monitor arm would really do what I need it to do, it MIGHT, but it'd be a....process. I currently use
I've used several other options in the past My desk has a slide out top drawer that I added a set of latches to let the front of the drawer flip forward like a modern keyboard drawer on a 60 year old wood executive desk. That works pretty well if it is a regular tablet. You can buy an add on shelf if your desk isn't made with one similar to this.
You'd have to put it together so you'd have to be a bit handy with some basic tools to use it. Another idea would be to use an adjustable height laptop tables on wheels. They can be had cheap at Walmart or such.
I realize I stopped typing midway through my response XD
I use a ipad surface pro as my tablet, and I got 2 monitors as is with a modular (I think) corner desk from ikea.
Ive considered the pull down/out keyboard drawer but I feel liek that would hinder my ability to TUCK TIGHTLY into my desk because I am a gremlin That Can Not Sit Straight.
I do miss my old basic tablet in that it sat flat, under my keyboard with ease, and rearrangement was fairly minimal.
I think part of my issue also stems from how GLOSSY the surface of the tablet is. if I manage to rig up something that lets my tablet sit comftorbly to draw on, then the LIGHTS BLIND MEEEEE.
though.. yeah I have thought of the desk drawer pull out. still considering it.
