How owned are the balloonies in your stories? It's framed that they are created AI and that your otter boy ordered one and had it delivered to him. At the same time Sarah has a full will of her own. She has her own desires, travels alone sometimes, and generally comes across as a person. We also see (and thoroughly enjoy) porn videos Sarah likes where the balloonies are popped and treated poorly (though it's implied they like it). Basically I'm curious if you see the Ballonies in your stories as fully sentient people or algorithmic bots?

I'm not bringing this up to be insulting or say you're writing anything wrong or immoral. These are fantasy magical balloon sex toys stories after all. Just what I thought to ask when I saw the AMA.

2nd less loaded question. Do you have a favorite kind of balloon? Solidly the Tuf-Tex 24" for me.

For AI's in my world the amount of freedom and rights they have depends on how intelligent they are. Sarah is judged to be fully sentient and sapient, with an IQ or around 130, though judging the IQ of an AI has certain problems. As such she is viewed as a person by her society and has nearly all the rights of a normal person with a few exceptions such as voting rights. However there are AIs and Pseudo AI that are much simpler and have more restrictions placed on them, ranging from simple AIs that are viewed as servants to the simplest PseudoAIs that are counted as property and are little more than computers running long decision trees.

One of the interesting side effects of that is there is no actual requirement for Sarah to stay with Jack, she is completely free to leave if she wanted to. However she was built for him and her wants and needs are tuned so he fulfils them perfectly and she wants to make him happy. Many balloonies and other AIs are tuned to suit their purpose in similar ways.

One of the longer term things I've been meaning to go into are the complications that would crop up in a world with balloonies. Including those that dislike the roles planned for them and desire more freedom, Anti AI groups and other discrimination against balloonies, and the challenges of the different levels of AI intelligence.

As far as balloons are concerned bigger is better with a special soft spot towards qualatex 36 inchers especially the zebra print ones. Any of the GL range of balloons or figurine balloons make for a fun plaything too. A special mention goes out to geodonuts, though if only they were bigger, a 24 or 36 inch donut would be amazing

Air or helium, which do you prefer most in your inflation works?

Hmm, Air for more general inflaion, Helium is for special events and while more fun needs more planning to prevent sending a helpless balloonie skywards. Other fillers like water can be fun to play around with too, giving a balloonie some weight to throw around.

Do you plan to add more deflation in your stories? And what about next part of ballooniverse?

Deflation is definitely something I need to work on more, both puncture play and softer deflation. Though there are some stories in the works there

As for the Heroes Of The Ballooniverse setting there's quite a lot of ideas in various stages, new villains and heroes and new challenges for them to face.

Good to know. Hoping, that there will be some more variations of deflation (4ex., not just in lewd scenes and not just females, but villains and accident deflation also)

Btw, you also stopped with balloonie brothel, do you plan to continue with it?

Yeah deflation will turn up in the balloonieverse stories a fair bit. And maybe some non sexual deflation and popping in other stories too.

The Balloonie brothel is still getting worked on in a piecemeal fashion, expect an update in a few weeks if everything goes to plan.

Have you given any thought to drafting up and posting the complete questionnaire that Jack answered in Balloon Mare Part 1? It could be a good mental exercise to have people answer it and tell them what they'd get in response.

Hmm that would be interesting, it'd probably end up a fairly long one. A mix of multiple choice questions, short essay style questions and some fill in the blank questions. It would en up a strange mix of desired appearance, a wish list for her behaviour, and a personality quiz.

How does your zeeb reform once popped? Nanobots?

Yup, the traditional magic of science fiction settings. Piling up the shards around her AI core is polite and helps speed things up as she only has to repair a few rips. Sarah can completely reform a body if necessary but it is a much longer process. Her nanobots also allow for limited shape shifting and colour changes.

Do these nanobots assist in her inflation or just in repairing/healing?

Sarah's body is an electromuscle rubber polymer. She also generates a liquid rubber compound at her core used to repair and configure her body and as a feedstock for her juices. Her nanobots are half free, half built into her skin and can modify its configuration. They can help with her inflation by incorporating more of the liquid polymer into her skin allowing her to grow bigger. The added sensory density makes her really sensitive on shape shifting. Once the polymer runs out she can only grow by thinning her skin and she becomes more fragile. Sarah can inflate slowly through her skin but prefers to breath in for faster growth. Getting puffed up by her partner is best of all of course.

With enough polymer, can she theoretically grow to an infinite size or is the capacity limited to a certain size?

Can her gender be modified with attachments or Add ons?

So long as Sarah has something to build with she can keep growing, though huge sizes start to run into logistical problems. Too big and both wind and weight start to become real concerns.

As to gender modification just give her some suggestions and an hour or so.
