Update Journal, What a Crazy End/Start of the Year!

Heya everyone!
So I kinda went AWOL for a while there because after having an incredibly amazing MFF, I ended up with a nasty cold that turned into a sinus infection that lasted for the entire month of Dec. Ungh that was awful. Poor
MorinW ended up with the same thing as well. I dunno if it was con crud or if it was just general sickness cause it's that time of year, but man... horrible. I spent most of my time sleeping and when I wasn't sleeping I was drinking fluids. It was just not fun.
The Monday we were checking out of the hotel for MFF, my mother called my sister's phone and basically said she heard a pop in her foot and now she can't put any weight on it without a lot of pain. She said "don't worry, but when you get home we might need to go to the ER, no rush!" >> We rushed. LOL
My talented mother managed to break her ankle in 2 spots and had to have surgery to fix it. She now has a plate and 12 screws in her ankle and has been in a cast since. Which has left me basically becoming the errand and chore person for the household, woo! XD Mom's doing okay, she's a trooper I'll give her that LOL. She's ready to rip her cast off now. Next Friday she should be switching to a walking boot and starting with physical therapy. Fun stuff!
So sickness, casts, crazy job and insurance problems... whew. What a crazy month and a half it's been.
I'm going to start posting some of the stuff I was working on while I've been gone, I'm sorry for the delays. But I'll try and keep things as open as possible. <3

Anyway it's good to hear from you again, I was starting to worry about you there. ;) MFF was great and I had a great time, but it was so hard to get to see everybody. I did the best I could though, it was wonderful to see you. ;)
And yeah >< my mom slipped down the last two stairs going down to the basement around thanksgiving, so we're thinking she might got a hairline fracture then. She thought it was just a sprain, and was taking advil for the pain and felt fine. But then that Monday it finally cracked all the way through.
Wish I woulda known you were at MFF, I woulda loved to stop by and give a hug. Maybe next year. =3
