"Timothy C. McCormick was a good friend, and a man for others. On February 16th, 2013, he was killed while in the line of duty as an EMT.
The loss of Tim will continue to pull at the strings of our hearts. But we can learn from Tim, and we can be better people if we take inspiration from his life. We can be a little more optimistic when we think about his indomitable spirit. We can work a little bit harder when we think of how he labored. We can be little bit better to others when we think about how much it meant to Tim to do the same. And most of all, we can remember. We can remember Tim, and all that he was, and all that he meant and will continue to mean in his enduring legacy. Your time on this Earth was too short, Tim. And that piece of our hearts that is missing is the piece you took so that you wouldn't have to go alone. Your legacy will last far longer than your time with us on Earth. And you will always, always be loved.
