Creating my own tail soon!

I recently posted an image of two of my very first tails ever made. They were pretty simple to make and fast.
I will be making myself a snow leopard tail from my fursona Kyobe. The base will be a light greyish fur with black spots all around, some filled with white fur. The tip of the tail is white. The division between the white tip and the light grey fur is a part of black fur.
I will be hand sewing all the spots together like a puzzle, haha.
If anyone has any tips let me know before I start! I will be receiving the furs soon hopefully. I will take pictures/vids of my progress saying what I'm doing. That way people can either follow what I'm doing if they want to try on their own (IF I actually do well with it, but I believe it'll be good) as well as people can give my tips along the way or whatever.
I will try and post a design or something when I make it. I have been too busy to do much of anything lately so when I get the time I will make out the sketches and such.
PS. If you're reading this and I promised you a free sketch, sorry for being so late. I have been way too busy lately with school and things that I.. yeah, haven't had time. I am finishing up classes now and will have finals soon.. then will be starting summer classes next month already. Hopefully I will have more free time to do things then.
