Boston
There are only a few times in my life where I can say I"ve felt such a huge, crushing and profound sadness that I feel right now. I live in Nashua, about 40 minutes away from Boston and I love that gorgeous city, it"s like a second home to me. I want to move there in the future, and I still do.
But...I don"t even know how to put this into words. One of the victims who died today was an 8-year-old girl. She was running for the Sandy Hook victims. That"s what gets me. Some of you might remember my post about Connecticut and how New England is like one big family - what happens to one affects us all. And Boston"s the heart of that family. Of all places and events to attack, a marathon is just...I don"t know what to say, except that those responsible are found and answer for their crimes.
I don"t follow a particular religion, as I practice agnosticism, but all the same...I"ll be praying for Boston. Love you guys <3
