All NSFW moved to Scraps
I've moved all the NSFW art in my gallery to Scraps for the time being, and might move them to a different account altogether if I get the inclination. I mostly don't want to be known just for that, since my art matters a lot to me and a lot of it isn't NSFW. I really want to start posting some of my more serious work here because it's a lovely community and a great place to grow an audience, but I don't want to be known as an NSFW artist who sometimes draws SFW. Quite the opposite, honestly. I still plan to make NSFW art, and indeed have been, but I've been conflicted on where to put it. So far it's gone up on my
I think there's a very real place for NSFW in artistic expression, and I really don't consider my NSFW stuff to be lesser than my other works. They're a part of who I am, but the fact is that it's hard to be taken seriously as an artist when you do regular art and pornography. Often, really amazing artists who do NSFW work are treated as if their work isn't worth much, and I'm kind of afraid of being put in that pigeon hole. So far I've been posting them to my Tumblr and Twitter, but they're not gaining a lot of traction there. I'm still learning how to market myself as a real artist and taking art seriously, and it's tough because I still have so much to learn.
That said, I'm going to be gradually posting some of my work here in the order it was created. You're going to notice some serious changes in quality as a result, since there's five to six years of on-and-off stuff to upload.
