Actually... it's interesting. How interesting is up to the individual person.
I Googled my IRL name. Turns out I share both first and last names with a R&B/gospel singer.
This gets into some interesting situations. I had a walk-in-clinic nurse come by while I was getting registered before being seen. She was so glad before seeing me... and all emotion she had drained from her face. She was expecting this elegant black woman... and got this white male geek. But I knew of the association, and we had a good chat about it.
I just get some severe looking women with blogs, probably selling natural supplements I'd imagine from the thumbnails. Perhaps some of them draw weird bunnies too?
Lol!
Don't let the haters get you down. You make great art, and for every 1 hater there's gotta be at least 5 fans. Whatcha call it, the 'Silent Majority"?
Fortunately for me, my IRL name is a common English first name plus the name of a common job, so I'm practically ungoogleable unless you add more specifics
I do show up on some of those art lists myself, but fortunately it's usually stuff that's close to a decade old and in no way reflects my current work, so I'm mostly okay with it.
If you want to scrub your info from the major data brokers (that often Google searches point to), there's a company that can do it for you: https://joindeleteme.com
Otherwise it involves doing a lot of research and sending an opt-out request to each broker.
That's not bad idea! But this was mostly about finding threads where people make fun of bad furry art and finding my pics in there. I mean... I know it's ridiculous and silly, the things I'm painting but it's all in good fun. I just have to not take these things to heart, but for some reason I struggle with it. Ahh well, I'll be okay.
My character. Mostly it's just places where my stuff was reposted by someone but there's a few "Hey, look at this freakish godawful garbage" threads. I guess I can't argue with them, but it's still not fun to read. :(
Ouch! I'm sorry to hear it's like that..
It's the double edged sword of drawing such niche kink, and doing it so well and so beautifully!
Folks who appreciate that content, will adore it (I mean, I know I do!) but folks who don't like those kinda kinks, will be baffled at why someone would draw it with such enthusiasm, and unfortunately, will tend to be shitty about that :(
Keep doing what you're doing! I always love seeing new stuff from you <3
My name is... *cough* distinctive, I see the stuff I've commissioned in all manner of odd places, and quite a few "What the hell is this?" Oriented contexts. I try not to let it get to me - and I'm always surprised by how many people it gets positive reactions from.
Personally, I *adore* your stuff - and I love finding it in the wild, too. :3

There's not too many Tarlanurs out there, though, so I know when I find a thread with people making fun of bad furry art I guess I know it's mine :(
