Death of a style, Birth of a new era
Hello.
After a while of introspection, thinking, overthinking, wasted hours on Sea of Thieves, using the waves to relax my mind and consider things in order to ease my struggles, I have decided I’m not going to continue faking a style I do not enjoy working with just because they bring me commissions.
I really enjoy watercolours, and wish to learn more of them. My computer now allows me to use them without freezing to hell and beyond, thanks to a friend having gifted me some spare parts, and those following my twitter (https://twitter.com/Zal_Akir) saw my experiments with it.
I forced myself to stay in a style I do not enjoy using. A style that makes me miserable (None of you are at fault. This is entirely on me) and I have decided, once I have finished my current commission batch, to stop playing pretend and explore different things. Experiment and have fun again.
The beginning of the new generation of MLP is a good opportunity for me to do that change of style, a new cycle begins and I feel like it’s a good time to renew my art
More art is on the way, I’ve fixed my sleeping schedule, and I’m currently trying to sort out things that have prevented me from arting. I’m hoping this change in style can give me back the spark and the enjoyment I used to have.

You go girl!
Yup!
I completely feel this. I think I've fallen into a similar trap myself (here and my sfw side) and have been experimenting a bit as well. Trying to focus ;was on what others want from me and more just drawing things that I want and make me happy. Regardless, I wish you luck on this and can't wait to see more from you!
Thank you!
I just checked your twitter to see the watercolor style. I honestly like it a lot. I dare to say I prefer it over your current style :D
Ooooh, thank you! It means a lot ^-^
