Furnal Equinox 2024: "Under The Sea," March 15-17, 2024:

Welcome back to Toronto! Take a trip under the sea and explore everything the depths have to offer!

Despite the Westin Harbour Castle having one tower still under maintenance, we made the most of what would be an awesome weekend in Canada! I got to meet with lots of friends whom I had been palling around with on VRChat and in the convention chat channels. The hotel staff really went all out for the convention, with their membership even wearing pins adopting the theme of the convention.

This year, the convention took a big fursuit photo just before the Tour De Fur, which was quite entertaining with so many fursuiters and the entire city of Toronto cheering for us!

The VRChat Meet-and-Greet, which myself, Lilithe Lotor, and  mBlade personally hosted, was an absolute smashing success! With the meet assigned to the Harbour Ballroom, we had alot more space to play with. The VRChat banner, signed by everyone in attendance, went for $425 CAD at auction! We even incorporated portals at the raves, which drew in huge crowds!

Attendance was calculated at 3,647 attendees-a new record for Canada's biggest furry convention! These numbers included 1,520 fursuiters. Likewise, the charity donations came in at over $14,000 CAD-again, a new record for Furnal Equinox!

Next year's convention will be from March 21-23, 2025, which, surprisingly, is a different weekend versus Texas Furry Fiesta! The theme will be "Monsters In Toronto." Guests of Honor will be Stephenie of the Silver Dragon and Monarobot. Let's rock!
