After much consideration, I conditioned the MIDI to the point where I decided to record it. The muted trumpet doesn't have the same feel as the original, but it still carries, just in a different way (like a different singer doing the same song). I hope the variation is well received.

Wow....truely amazing work....hehe...it brings back soo many memories of such an encredible game. i love it.
Well sweet. <3 Woof! As I said in the other, you got one fine synthesizer. I had no idea it was actually a muted trumpet in this title tune from the original game... guess it sounded so good compared to usual funky muted trumpets that I didn't recognize it. Looks like Chrono Trigger had a much better Muted Trumpet than, say, Super Mario RPG.
