New Direction

Think tank in Brussels affiliated with right-wing conservative European political party ECR. New Direction was founded at the end of 2009 by the Dutch politician Derk-Jan Eppink (former JA21, now a member of the BoerBurgerBeweging). Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher is patron. The think tank is largely financed from the EU budget, and it also generates income from donations and memberships of like-minded national think tanks.
