Dame Joan Collins says using £35 cream makes her looks younger than her age
Dame Joan Collins, 91, appeared on the BBC's The One Show last week to discuss her upcoming live performance and fans were impressed with her youthful skin
Iconic Dynasty star Dame Joan Collins appeared on BBC's The One Show recently to give updates on her upcoming performance and fans can't help but notice her flawless skin.
The 91-year-old admitted she hasn't resorted to Botox or any other cosmetic procedures and instead prefers natural methods to maintain her youthful appearance. This includes a Charlotte Tilbury £35 cream.
She once told The Mirror: "I don't go to bed without taking off my makeup and putting on night cream. My mother had me and sister Jackie doing that when we were 14."
Joan's nightly skincare routine involves removing her makeup with a £5.50 Nivea cleanser, followed by applying a magic night cream by Charlotte Tilbury. She also shared her secret routine before attending red-carpet events: "Before all big events and post-flights, I get a bowl of ice and cotton pads, cool the pads and place them on my eyes, then lie down for five minutes. It reduces puffiness and refreshes the eyes.
Described as 'beauty sleep in a decadent cream elixir', the Magic Night Cream is designed to provide intense moisture to the skin throughout the night. The product contains a blend of ingredients including plant stem cells, time-released retinol, coenzyme Q10 and vitamin E, designed to create supple, dewy and plump skin by morning.
According to the brand, over 90% of beauty enthusiasts in a trial reported their skin appeared and felt firmer. Dame Joan isn't the only one who loves the Magic Night Cream. The award-winning product has received more than 1,430 five-star reviews on the Charlotte Tilbury website, reported the Manchester Evening News.
One customer shared: "I am so happy that I've bought this cream, it really is magic. I put it on my face before I got to sleep and in the morning I look fresh and happy."
Another commented: "I am 58 and this Night Cream truly is magic. I put it on every night before bed, and every morning I wake up with a plump, firm and luminous complexion. I add a little blush, gloss and mascara, Charlotte Tilbury, of course, and I'm ready for the day."
Among the mixed feedback, one customer critiqued the Magic Night Cream for being 'too heavy', venting: "I received a few samples of this night cream and I'm glad I decided to try before buying it as it's not one for me. The gel-like cream is thick.
"It felt heavy on my skin and left a greasy Vaseline-like feel. It took a very long time to absorb and I ended up washing it off."
Conversely, another shopper sang praises for their latest Charlotte Tilbury haul, enthusing: "This is by far the best cream I have ever bought and I have tried them all. I love the texture and really spend time massaging it into my skin. I used to hate that first look in the mirror in the morning but not any more."
As for Dame Joan, she hasn't revealed her go-to Nivea cleanser, yet Amazon has numerous options at reduced prices. Bargain hunters can snag the Nivea 2-in-1 Refreshing Milk and Toner for just £3, the Gentle Face Cream Wash also priced at £3.
